Q: Can you transfer data from your computer using a regular USB cable (not type C)?
A: This Disk does come with TypeC to TypeC cable for newer computers as a standard but it also has an additional adapter in the box that one can put on one end of TypeC cable to let it connect to USB TypeA 3.1 ports.
Q: Will this scan disk connect to my Samsung S21 ultra so I can transfer picture files from my phone?

A: Hi, please be informed that all our external storage devices including the Portable SSD Drives are simple plug and play storage devices which you can connect to your Windows/ Mac computers using the USB Type-C/A ports. However, please note that you might not get optimal data transfer speeds when connected to a USB interface older than USB 3.2 Gen 2.
