Auto Dry isn’t working
We’ve had this dryer for 6 months and it’s been great however, in the last month the auto-dry feature has stopped working. We’ve called Best Buy support who connected us with Whirlpool. Whirlpool sent us a troubleshooting kit and I have been working through their steps. My home is new contribution and most of their steps is clean the various dryer vents. We’ve reached the point where they are sending out a tech to review the problem. So far everything with the process has been ok. Only thing spent has been our time, but it had been frustrating and this shouldn’t happen to a new machine. I’ll update when we’ve reached the finish line…

Pick any other brand
Have always purchased whirlpool but this it. Previous washer lasted 6 years but had to replace and then new dryer to match. Cheap.. cheap… cheap…. Painted drum. Previous stainless. No light this time. It either takes 2 hours to dry or keeps shutting off every 10 minutes. Have to open door and shut again to activate panel. Steam cycle makes dry clothes really wet and then have to dry for longer. Not to mention the countdown to on is annoying. Better go back to the drawing board whirlpool. This belongs in the local junk yard.
