Survival Difficulty – June 6th 2019
Play a brand new difficulty that creates a more challenging experience surviving the Central Oregon wilderness:
- Tougher enemies
- Fast Travel disabled
- HUD only appears when activating Survival VisionPlay and overcome Survival difficulty to earn new bike skins and trophies that show off your accomplishments!
Weekly Challenges – free new Challenge will release every week over 12 weeks for players to beat. Get a high score in these combat, bike, and horde challenges to get special patches that make you stronger—you can even bring these patches back into the main game!
Scoring higher will also allow you to get more credits to buy character skins, bike skins, and power-up rings that you can use in these Challenges.
Play as Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter facing a brutal struggle for survival, searching for a reason to live
In addition to human drifters, marauders, and other groups, Deacon must face a wilderness overrun by Freakers – mindless, feral creatures, more animal than human but very much alive and quickly evolving
The harsh high-desert of the Pacific Northwest offers a large variety of environments in a single geographical area
One minute Deacon can be riding through a pristine forest, a snow field, a lush meadow, and the next, be in the harsh desert lava fields
The hazardous environments, scarred by millions of years of volcanic activity, are defined by ancient lava flows, mountains, caves, cliffs and river basins, delivering a breathtaking backdrop to an equally diverse style of gameplay
Cinnabar mines, lava tube caves and small rural towns offer a variety of environments to explore
Exemplifying true, free-form gameplay, Days Gone offers freedom to explore, strategize and play “your way.” Every challenge can be approached and completed in an almost infinite number of ways.
4K TV Enhanced. When played on a 4K TV with PS4 Pro, Days Gone outputs in dynamic 2160p resolution.
HD TV Enhanced. When played on an HD TV with PS4 Pro, players can experience increased image clarity via supersampling of a higher resolution image down to 1080p.
