- A: AnswerI got a newer Samsung SmartTV so I will only speak to my personal experience. The keyboard came with a small USB fob - its about the size of a thumbnail. That needs to go into one of your TV's USB ports on the back. If your Samsung Smart TV does not have a USB port, then return this one and see if your TV support's Bluetooth instead. But assuming your TV does have a USB port, plug in the fob. Turn on the TV. Now you have that part working. Next is to make sure your keyboard has the batteries installed and that the little plastic pull tabs (that cover the battery connections) are removed so as to make sure the keyboard has power. Lastly turn on the keyboard (there is a switch on the back). Now to use the keyboard with the TV, the right side is like the touchpad on a laptop. I like to click the Smart TV on my remote to pull up the apps, and then start using the keyboard mouse to select the apps. Now a very important note - not every App works with the keyboard - they were written to use the TV remote only. So YouTube for example is one app that does not use the keyboard, but the browser does. Hopefully this helps some.

A: AnswerIt does indeed work with an iPad if you have a USB adapter. I’m not sure what it’s called but I have one of these - it’s an adapter that attaches to the iPad (I have both an iPad 2 and a much newer Pro. I bought the USB adapter when I bought each iPad, to match their jack. One of the adapters available offers an SD card slot, and the other common one is a USB port. I’m typing this on an iPad Pro, using the USB adapter, and a K400+ Logitech keyboard. The RF receiver plugs into the USB adapter, which in my case plugs into the lightning jack where the power cord would normally attach. The trackpad portion of the keyboard has no purpose; you still need to touch the screen to click where needed. Amazingly the on-screen keyboard does not appear when the K400+ is attached. This is very handy for writing longer pieces, I imagine. I never tried this arrangement until I found your question. I guess this means my gaming keyboard would also work!Answered by IpaduserHeidi

A: AnswerYes. But if you're looking for just a good wireless keyboard, there are far better options that don't have a track-pad. Typing on this keyboard is not the greatest. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.Answered by Scott

A: AnswerHello bluffid! The K400 Plus Wireless Keyboard should work with your MacBook Pro M1 and Big Sur yes, using its USB Unifying Receiver (no Bluetooth), but you'd have to use a USB Hub on your Mac to convert the Thunderbolt ports to USB. Also, do note that the K400 Plus is not officially supported for MacOS, meaning you won't be able to customize your keyboard buttons through Logitech Options, nor use gestures on the trackpad and such, so it would just work as a regular keyboard with trackpad.Answered by Logitech

No Bluetooth - Good Keyboard But No Bluetooth
My rating is strictly for the product. However I did buy this because I needed a bluetooth keyboard and this was listed a bluetooth keyboard. The keyboard serves its purpose. Its a general use keyboard for designed to give you mobility. Its practical, no bells and whistles. Im giving it 4 stars because: 1 - doesnt come with a manual (which you dont need if you are just connecting to computer), however its a bit complicated if you want to connect to a TV. 2 - As far as connecting to TV, The only piece of paper I got was ikea style instructions on connecting to a TV. Which doesnt appear to be a true connection.. its seems like you are just connecting your laptop to the tv.. and the keyboard connects to the laptop.. From this point of view, it does not seem like you can connect to your smart TV and type into whatever app you are using. The setup is basically connecting your laptop to a TV. 3 - Price point: at this price, in 2024, I think is adequate considering brand name, and practicality. There are probably other brands at same price point, maybe lower, that probably have bluetooth but Im a consumer that likes to use brands im familiar with. I do try other brands but this was an immediate need purchase, theres nothing wrong with the product, it just did not provide the features the website said it did. Im not returning it because im sure i can find use for it, in the immediate future. But I just feel the waste of my time and missed opportunity of making money ( I had bought it for an $800 gig job - which required a bluetooth keyboard as part of the equipment) is more painful than the price. I trust bestbuy and I trust logitech so it was one of those situations where i didnt really read specs and do price comparison.

Works great
Works great. Keys have decent feel, includes both the keyboard and a track pad, and is wireless via USB. The USB receiver tucks in the battery compartment when not in use. It is small, as seen in the photo next to my full-size Logitech MX Keys keyboard. Fits in my backpack when I need a better keyboard than the ones in my office. Also, it works great with my Raspberry Pi.
