A: AnswerGreat question. We made a choice to not go "smart" with our weatherproof outdoor TVs, so they don't have apps, Wi-Fi connections, or Bluetooth. It’s very easy to add though. Just plug the third-party streaming device into the SunBrite TVs HDMI port. Roku streaming stick plus works very well. There’s a weatherproof media bay built into that back of the TV that keeps cables and streaming devices protected from the elements. Our customers tend to keep their SunBrite outdoor TVs for a long time, replacing them much less frequently than indoor TVs. And let’s face it, the user interfaces from streaming media device makers are almost always much more elegant than built-in streaming offered by TV manufacturers. We focus on the things that are important to most outdoor TV owners: Safety (Weatherproof), Durability (Powder-coated aluminum exterior), and Performance (brighter than typical indoor TVs). Generally speaking, connecting the Veranda Outdoor TV to your speakers depends on whether the speakers are powered or not. For audio out, Veranda has two options: SPDIF Digital Audio Output (5.1) x1, Analog 3.5mm (Variable) x1. If the speakers are powered, you’d connect the audio outputs from Veranda to the speaker inputs. If the speakers are not powered, you’d need an amplifier between the Veranda and the speakers. Great TV
I love this TV. Great picture. We had Best Buy come install it and it was a great experience. No one better than the Geek Squad. We also bought the sound bar so no problems hearing the TV. Since it's not a Smart TV, we bought a Roku. Works great.

Nice picture all day
I put this out on my open back deck which is mostly shaded by trees. Picture has been great. Using outdoor antenna (60+ channels) and Roku for programming. Good way to spend more time outdoors enjoying weather while watching TV. Even in partial sun picture is nice. Only small complaint is sound comes from underside speakers that face the ground so volume is sometimes up to 90 to hear at the back of the deck.

Tv is amazing except the sound
Bought this tv and it’s half covered, half exposed to sun depending on the time of day. The picture quality is great even when the sun is on it so I’m really happy with that aspect of it. However, the sound is awful. This thing sounds like you’re about to blow the speakers when only turned up 30%. I guess the sound bar will help? That’s probably what I’ll have to do next when I get around to it.
