Questions & Answers (13)
Q: Will this hook-up to Alexa? (3 answers)
A: Thank you for your question. The Stanmore III can be connected to an Amazon Echo via the 3.5mm connection. If connecting via Bluetooth, the speaker will need to be unpaired from your phone and paired directly in the Alexa app. I recommend using a hard-wired connection and this will bypass the Standby-mode on the speaker, allowing the Alexa to play through the speaker without having to interact with the top panel.Q: Can you pair two stanmore lll together ? (2 answers)
A: No you cannot. I had to return the speaker based on this alone. However, you can couple the older model, Stanmore 2.Q: Can you hook this speaker up to a tv that is not bluetooth (3 answers)
A: If your TV has RCA jack capabilities, at least for sound, it should work. I have not tried this option myself. You might want to ask an expert before purchasing.- A: Yes, Probably. If your CD player has an earphone jack or Bluetooth capabilities, you can use the aux. input.
Q: Does the volume control go up to 11? (2 answers)
A: Hi Nigel, the control knobs for volume (and treble and bass) only go to 10, but great question!Q: Will it support an electric guitar with the plug-in? (2 answers)
A: Yes, I use a Fender Mustang Micro Plus Guitar headphone amp, instead of plugging into head set I go directly into aux. using a 10ft. stereo pin plug.- A: Hello there, thanks for contacting us. It sounds like the 3.5mm aux or RCA inputs would be the best connection method for these devices: to connect via Bluetooth you must have a screen on the other device that manually allows you to select the speaker to connect to, much like you do on your phone.
