A: I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty installing the DA29-00003G filter cartridge in your RF267AARS. The threads on this filter may be somewhat different compared to earlier versions, but they will still lock in place. The “new” threads (which have been in use since 2010) require a little more force to install, but lock in tighter than the older model. I've attached an image showing the two designs side by side; the one on the left is the “new” one. If you haven't already done so, please try turning off the water supply valve when changing the cartridge to alleviate pressure in the lines. This can help to make it easier to both remove and install the filter cartridge. - Ms. Samsung
