8K LASER PROJECTOR WITH EXCEPTIONAL PICTURE QUALITY
The 3rd Gen 0.69-inch 4K D-ILA device offers a native contrast ratio of 150,000:1. JVC’s exclusive 8K/e-shiftX, combines high-resolution display technology that uses a 240Hz driver with a 4-way multi-axis pixel shift, together with 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA devices, for visual enhancements as the 2nd Gen 8K/e-shiftX. JVC's newest 8K scaling engine improves the projector’s sharpness and detail across all content, including 8K sources.
VIBRANT IMAGES AND COLOR
The 2nd Gen Frame Adapt HDR function analyzes the different peak brightness per scene or frame for HDR10 content and performs real-time tone mapping for optimized brightness, color, and details. PEAK BRIGHTNESS AND LONGEVITY
JVC’s original laser light source “BLU-Escent Laser” achieves exceptional peak brightness of 3,300 lumens on the DLA-NZ900 with a longevity of 20,000 hours. NEW Max Display Mastering Luminance (DML) metadata, which represents the nit level of the professional monitor used to grade the movie to the director’s standards, is used to set the dynamic range of the title for improved HDR tone mapping. On the DLA-NZ900 both DML and MaxCLL values are used for the HDR levels.
DEEPER BLACKS FOR RICHER GRADATION
The new Deep Black function has been added to Frame Adapt HDR, with a new algorithm to further subdue tones in dark areas to achieve more realistic darkness. This function maximizes the dynamic range of the new-generation 4K D-ILA devices and delivers images with more contrast than ever before. Scenes with light and dark shades can be projected with greater realism.
CONNECTIVITY AND LENSES
Installation mode offers 10 profiles for lens control, pixel adjustment, masking, aspect ratios, and more. The 100mm HQ lens system with 18-element, 16-group all-glass lenses and five ED lenses project high-resolution images to every corner of the screen, with wide shift ranges of 100% vertically and 43% horizontally. Two Full 8K inputs are enabled with 48Gbps 8K/60p HDMI HDCP 2.3. Controls include Control4 SDDP, LAN, RS-232C, IR, 12V screen trigger out and 3D sync out.
