- Answer I'm quite sure the handle most remain attached. How would you attach the cabinet material to the door. Please remember the door would become very heavy, thus easily falling when opened. Call customer service to confirm.

QuestionI used the Finish tabs that came with the dishwasher and after running the dishwasher last night I woke up to find the tab hadn't dissolved completely... How can I fix this? Should I just use liquid detergent?

- Answer You were lucky, I never received any tab with mine. Wow, you woke up concerned and noticed the tab not completely dissolved, was the complete wash cycle done and unit off. I like the liquid type as it dissolves much better. Is your water heater set to the correct operating temperature 120 degrees, that is suggested. Hope this helps, Good luck

QuestionBestBuy says it has a built in water softener but I look on LG site and in the manual and I see nothing about a softener or where to add salt. Does this model actually have a built in water softener?

- Answer You must put it in at an angle. So hold it with the front facing straight up (go ahead and take the trays out) and the wheels at the bottom. Then slip the top rear wheels over the hook and slid the other ones on at an angle. Try to keep it at an angle for the front wheels too. These will be a bit tougher to get on.

- Answer I believe it has something to do with its ability to use steam if that's the model you have, any of the non domestic dishwasher manufactures don't use a heating element since it is so wasteful of electricity. id go to LG's website or possibly youtube for an actual explanation of the "hybrid drying" cycle. I sell these.. and I have had some issues with LG's lately which is a bummer since they have the best washers, dryers, and TV's

QuestionTop controls lighted?I know that when you power on the dishwasher the power button lights up around it's edges, and when you select a wash option that button likewise lights up and you get an estimated time, but do all the buttons light when you power on so you can see what they say?

- Answer The question is - can I get all options to light up BEFORE I select so I can see what I about to select. It is nearly impossible to read the options. This is so frustrating, we are considering getting rid of this dishwasher.
