Geek squad 5 year warranty does come in handy and is worth it but can be a hassle. My fridge quit cooling out of no where called geek squad that day got an appointment with tech two days later. Diagnosed the fridge as a bad compressor then geek squad contracted it out to a 3rd party. Let me tell you whomever the 3rd party my fridge repair got contracted were extremely hard to get a hold of and unreliable. Ended up getting a refund for original cost and struggling to find a fridge as good as the original. Here’s the catcher geek squad will not replace an open box fridge as an equal trade. They will make you pay the difference and for a new 5 year warranty. They will only replace if the item was bought brand new and the prices of appliances do go up. I took the gift cards to hopefully find a new fridge or wait for the original one to go on sale.

New Samsung fridge went out after 13 months. 1 month after manufacturer warranty expired. Best Buy Geek Squad was able to come out fairly promptly and diagnose the issue as a compressor failure which was covered by an internal parts warranty by Samsung. Dealing with Samsung was a nightmare, but dealing with Best Buy was a breeze.

Geek Squad provided excellent service when we had an issue with our new Samsung Bespoke refrigerator. After just a week, the inside fridge camera stopped working, which was frustrating. However, Geek Squad came to the rescue. They quickly scheduled a service appointment, arrived on time, and replaced the faulty camera without any hassle. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured everything was working properly before leaving. Their prompt and efficient service made the process stress-free. Once again I purchased a larger and updated Whirlpool side-by side refrigerator from Best Buy - my one and only go to business for all appliances, tech, etc. in my home as well as for Geek squad service. My experience from initial purchase to delivery was exemplary!! Pre delivery communication from Geek was awesome - updating every step of the way from dates to times to preparation details, etc. They were ever so accommodating with special requests and delivery/install and haul away went very smoothly. The entire process was pleasant, timely, efficient and informative. KUDOS TO BEST BUY AND GEEK SQUAD!!

I love BEST BUY, and their whole Geek Squad team! They instilled are TV and tv bracket mount. They also delivered and set up our new fridge. We have been members for over 6 years. If you can’t get a Best Buy credit card, they have another option, called the progressive leasing. It is great, I have used them 3 times. They are awesome too! This is how we were able to buy what we needed for our new home. We just moved to Moreno Valley and all of this was set up all in one day!!

We had a fridge delivered and after they left, I realized the water wasn't filling the pitcher in the fridge and that the control panel didn't work. it was just stuck. I went through all the error options in the book, then called Samsung and the phone number Samsung lists... "is no longer in service" lol! Lovely. it's in their manuals and online. ANNNYWAY... the Geek Squad coverage was my next move and they were very helpful. Problem solved.

It is great lots of space looking sleek. Gives your kitchen a clean look.

Extend warranty. Hope not to have to use it, but not that expensive to purchase.

I haven’t needed to use this and hope I don’t. But the price was good for the 5 years.

This is one of the only fridges that gives you the side doors on the fridge and 2 drawers for the freezer in a 33 inch width instead of the standard 35” width. The fridge and freezer have worked out flawlessly and we are extremely happy with he way it has performed. To boot, it is definitely a sleek contemporary looking fridge. For the price, you cannot beat the value.
