Cools and dehumidifies tbe space well. Very pleased with this product. Had to install inside wall sleeve, not a window. Comes with additional foam for adjustable sides to help keep the heat out.

I love Amana products and I had an “estimated” delivery date of a Monday with a holiday weekend pending but I happily received it on the Friday prior to the long weekend. Thus AC is amazing and easy to set up and you can adjust the temperatures very quickly. The little remote makes it very easy to turn on/off. It really cools quickly and in my small apartment and I’m very pleased with my purchase! I highly recommend this AC to anyone looking for a really good unit for years to come.

Product is extremely noisy. Sounds like a running truck motor. Cooling is so-so. Has styrofoam INSIDE the unit. For what reason???? I have a 35 year old Panasonic which I am still using in my bedroom and that unit is very quiet. Chose Amana to replace my old living room unit because it is a well-known name in appliances. Would not purchase another one nor would I suggest anyone purchase it for a bedroom because of the noise factor.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am disappointed in the noise level of this Amana- we got it for the bedroom and compared to our 40 year old Panasonic which still ran like a top, this sounds like a car engine running in our bedroom. We use earplugs. The remote is not very sophisticated either/symbols are not apparent, not all functions work from the remote.
