Once you get it set up, it is handy to use. It has no ads or a camera. It is not a tablet, but only a Smart Hub feature to control your Smart devices. It has a little learning curve, but once you get it setup the way you want, it works. It has its limitations, hopefully get them worked out in updates. (A lot of my issues have not been with the Hub but with my smart cameras. If you have Ring products, I have read this works amazing). Built in speakers are as good as a fire tablet, it is not like Echo Dot in sound quality. It also is wall mountable and POE compatible.

I Love It. EXCEPT, " TV Bose " speaker works w/ Hub, BUT can not group with other speakers, Besides that it's GRRREAT !!

I received this without an outlet plug. I then found out it is unable to set up or connect without that plug. Not sure why I continue to be so unlucky with these things. But it is a great company and I’m sure if my plug wasn’t missing it would be a great product

This is in my opinion is a must have if you have a ring alarm setup. Super easy to setup and mount. I used this to replace my old alarm.com panel - seamless transition.

Great little machine, however, maturity of Alexa as a smart home platform hasn't been improve for years now. Even with all the smart home standards that this hub support, what is the use if the platform itself omit basic smart home functions? No Youtube Music, no automated, no turning off hunch for everything (you have to turn off hunch individually for each device, try doing that if you have more than 30, it gets annoying real fast).

The Amazon Hub is amazing! It connects seamlessly to my Hue lights and Ring Alarm, making it an integral part of my smart home system. The design is beautiful and fits perfectly with my smart home aesthetic. It's reliable, easy to set up, and enhances the overall convenience and functionality of my smart home. I'm using this as a smart home controller. Mostly my goal was to control smart lights (Hue bulbs) in living room, and it works pretty well for that. It is also a cheaper option than some of the high end controls like Brilliance. Pros: Alexa home app much better than Google's, in that it allows you to create groups of groups. Ring doorbell integration is FANTASTIC. Love being able to immediately glance up and see who is ringing the doorbell rather than pulling my phone out of my pocket. Cons: I do wish that it could do full Hue app functionality. You are somewhat limited in options for how to use your lights. It can't for example access your scenes nor does it give you easy touch control over dimming. You CAN set colors and dim, just not with a single touch.

I liked how easy it was to setup and connect all my devices to it. I enjoy having a central touchscreen panel for it all. Only thing I would like is for it to be faster. Sometimes it lags.

Excellent way to control your home from one device. We use this as our master control but works the same as an Alexa with a screen. We can view our cameras, control the thermostat, turn off any lights. Was super easy to install. I love that you can wrap any unused cord behind the device to keep things looking nice and neat.

I Love my New Amazon Hub I got my Ring Alarm & Ring Camera connected I can see everything and Control everything as well. I love it.

I love this Echo Hub. It is great to see continually what smart devices are on or off. My cameras show me continually what is going on outside. If someone comes to the door I can see who it is before I get there. I can even talk to them through the device without opening the door. If I have guests in my house they can control my smart devices.

We have roughly 40 “smart” items in our house that can all be controlled through an Amazon echo. While i and my immediate family know the names of everything thats not the case when we have guest or house sitters. We placed this hub in a central location and it makes it very convenient for anyone to operate. Its not fast, doesn’t have the best screen or the best speakers, but thats not what it is intended to be. Its good as a central hub.

It’s ok. I wish the camera would stay on all the time because it defaults to the home page quite frequently. Also the interface is clunky for 2025.

Great product! It was very cost effective and easy to install.

Set up was easy but that was it. Have camera's by kasa, blink, eufy and wyze, some would connect and show camara feed and some wouldn't, now amazon owns blink but that camara would not connect to hub to show feed, now thats crazy, them some would connect and othet times would not. Hub would turn off and rebot for no reason when asking to show camara feed. System is slow so had to return it, more wasted time.

I thought it would allow me to disarm and arm but it doesn't still good though

Great for home/school planning purposes. Able to view instantly.
