The Bird Buddy - Smart Bird Feeder with Solar Panel is hands down the coolest innovation in birdwatching! Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly design. Once installed, I was amazed by the ability to view every bird that visits the feeder, all from the comfort of my home. The real-time bird identification feature is simply mind-blowing, allowing me to learn more about the different species that frequent my backyard. It's like having a personal birdwatching guide right at my fingertips! Plus, the added bonus of the solar panel ensures that the feeder is always powered and ready to go. While it may seem like a splurge, I can confidently say that it's well worth every penny for the joy and entertainment it brings. If you're a bird enthusiast or simply enjoy connecting with nature, the Bird Buddy is a must-have addition to your backyard!

So much fun! The birds love it and I like collecting the photos. The AI software in the app correctly identifies the bird type much of the time. And even when it doesn’t, it pegs it as a “mystery guest” which can often be pretty funny: like a squirrel hanging upside down, or a blurry pic of an obvious (to you and me) Northern Cardinal. It’s easy to clean and easy to fill. I definitely recommend getting the solar roof, so you don’t have to bring the camera in to charge when it’s cold or wet outside.

We enjoy and like the Bird Buddy overall. It's fun and has operated well and as expected. We get some really cool pics of birds! We don't pay for any type of subscription, and it is just fine. I have the solar roof option, and it has gone 6 months and remained charged fine on its own the whole time. Small issues are the door to fill the feed is small and slightly difficult to use. Some add-ons are nice (fence, perch extension, there's also suet and jelly holders) and that can get expensive. Pole mounting is not perfect, and holes don't line up great with a standard mount. By the time I bought the solar bird buddy, side fence option (which keeps the birds in front of camera much better) perch extension which is a borderline necessity, and a heavy-duty pole to mount it on with a squirrel baffle, I'm in pretty deep on this contraption! However, if you're into birds, feeding and watching, it's pretty darn cool!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents. I get a screenshot or video almost every day. It's brought so much joy in an otherwise difficult season. 100% will be buying more, and my parents have already said their friends have ordered some since.

Got this for my wife for Mother’s Day. Feeder is great quality , easy to use & video quality is Excellent!! App even tells you kind of bird visiting feeder. I did a lot of research prior to buying this feeder and can see why it’s rated one of the top to buy

Great little feeder. Very impressed with the solar charging. Have only needed to charge in the house twice in one month. Recommend getting the add on perch and water bottle.

Bought for my mother for Mother's Day, and boy howdy was it the best gift ever. Shes 85 years young and this is the highlight of her day. Yes all the birds now have names, and she somehow knows the difference. #sonoftheyear

I have several traditional bird feeders but the Bird Buddy takes birding to a whole new level. It's outstanding how I'm able to view the birds up close and personal. The image quality is excellent. I love the video clips, too. Another bonus of the Bird Buddy is being a part of the BB Community. You're able to visit BB feeders around the world. Can't wait to see the spring migratory birds. I'm looking forward to adding the various attachments they offer. Highly recommend!

Love it. Getting good results since set near house with good Wi-Fi connection and no squirrels. Solar roof worthwhile since it stays charged and wakes up when sun comes up. Expensive, but worth it due to good company support. No problems. Glad we purchased add-on extender, water bottle, etc.

I get it, it’s cool to actually see, in real time, the birds visiting your feeder and to get their description/breed. But I do think it’s a bit pricey. That being said, my husband absolutely loves it, and that’s all that matters to me!!

The Bird Buddy and its app are so easy to use, with a great UI, AI bird identification, and fun community. The Bird Buddy while expensive offers a more complete package than other smart feeders like Birdfy or Netvue. Only issue is that Wi-Fi will occasionally disconnect seemingly at random and requires either a router reboot or Bird Buddy reset. Also having to pay for the premium version of the app after spending so much on the feeder left a bad taste in my mouth. Still I 100% recommend.

If you enjoy watching birds, I would highly recommend this product. Be aware that you will need to sign up for a subscription to get the most out of this product. It is a lot of fun and works great for pictures and videos of the birds who stop by. My daughter loves watching the videos of the birds that it sends you. You will also see the amazing picture that it took. After getting this picture, We made sure to lock our windows. This bird didn't look happy. The one biggest con is filling the bird feeder with food. It is not the easiest thing in the world.
