Just got them delivered, I previously had Airpods Pro 1st generation which lasted for a while, now that it is time to switch on 2nd generation launch, was little confused as Bose has launched QC II almost the same time. So try it why not? Until i listen to the first ever song on full volume in these, i did not realize how much i missed the bass centric music which Bose is quite good at. I'm loving these, heard that Apple pros 2nd gen also improved the bass quality, i did not try those as I'm keeping these anyway. Fit: The default ear tips that came with the package fit perfectly, I tried to do some workout and running, they were well in place. Sound Quality: I absolutely love the crisp quality of sound and sometimes the thumping bass which is the main reason to buy these. ANC: With these buds On and playing music, i felt like i was the only person in the gym. Battery: I am going with the product specifications as i did not count on how many hours i listened to and haven't tried draining the battery either. Bose App: The "Transferring Update" will take sometime as mentioned in the guidelines, but you can still listen to music as it runs in background. Adjusting EQ is easy in the app which is missing in iOS world. Cons: 1. sometimes while switching between Quite and Aware modes, noticed that one of the earphone mutes or lost sound. 2. Wireless charging, I'm not a fan of this though as instead of placing it on a coil, I just have to plug it to USB. But this is something missing. 3. Multi point connection is something i miss from the Airpods pro by owning QC II's. Yes, I have iPad, iPhone and Apple TV.

Sound quality is excellent like I expect with a Boss product. Have that signature Bose sound and an adjustable EQ in the Bose app. Bose went with a more AirPod design for these. The fit is comfortable, especially after going through the extra wingtips and ear tips to find the right combination. These are light enough to wear for extended periods without issue. The charge case is a bit bigger than some earbuds I’ve used but still pocketable. The ANC is AMAZING and I love that they’re adjustable. The audio pass through is very good as well. You can add your own presets for ANC level as well through the Bose App. Now the negatives. Using the Bose app for updates and EQ on iPhone is terrible. It’s slow and non reactive at times. Also have had some connection issues with my iPhone where I’ve had to put one or both earbuds back into the case to restart the connection. I did update them in the Bose app (wasn’t sure if it worked because it kept freezing) but it says they’re up to date now. Hopefully the connection issues will be fixed now. Only time will tell. Touch controls on the stem are decent but not the most responsive I’ve used. That leads me to say if you’re an iPhone user I would recommend sticking with AirPods Pro if you want that Apple convenience of every thing “just working” every time. Still deciding whether to return these for the new AirPods Pro 2 for that convenience alone. The sound quality of the first gen AirPods Pro weren’t on the level of these Bose so I’m curious if the second gen improved the sound quality anywhere near these. If you can live with not having the “Apple” ease of use and can live with some connection issues (again new product might improve over time) the sound quality and ANC are amazing.

      Hi Jay,

We're happy to see that you find the sound, and ANC amazing. It's also great to see that you were able to find a comfortable fit with the right ear tip, and stability band combination for you.

We're surprised you're having trouble with the connection to the earbuds, and would recommend checking our guide here https://bose.life/3fjGY8f to ensure you're getting a reliable connection each time. For slow app response, we'd recommend checking that you have as few apps running in the background as possible, as this can lead to any app being slow to respond during use.

You can of course reach out to us for help or feedback, you can find contact details here https://bose.life/38DNELy on our website.

ANC is top-notch. Better than the AirPods Pro 2. I sit next to a noisy window fan and I can’t hear it at all with these earbuds. They are comfortable and fit perfectly. Battery life and touch controls have also been great. Unfortunately, I have two deal breakers. The first deal breaker is the overall listening experience. Don't get me wrong, the sound quality is clear, crisp, and well-balanced. But to my ears, they lack excitement. I listened to Bruno Mars' Finesse and I did not jam to the song like I usually would. The percussion just doesn't sound strong enough even after adjusting the EQ in the app. The second and main deal breaker is connectivity. I've owned two Bose headphones and various brands of earbuds and headphones. Among them all, I have the worst experience with Bose when it comes to connectivity. At times they connect instantly, at times it takes me a good five minutes to go through the whole ordeal of reconnecting them. Sadly this is still an issue with these earbuds. At times only one side is connected. Additionally, these buds still use the same voice. Each time I hear the woman's voice when I try to reconnect, I am reminded of the times I struggled with connectivity on my other Bose headphones.

I would give these buds only three stars but the noise canceling and audio quality are nice. As far as microphone goes, it's trash. People constantly on calls tell me they can barely hear me or it sounds like I'm in a bubble.. for a $300 pair of buds, it's very angering. The app that Bose has for these buds is one of the worst apps I've ever used, Sony has a way better app with a lot more customization than you can do on these, if that's something you're into I would recommend the Sony XM4 or XM5, because the app barely has anything that you can do with it. My favorite part of the headphones is the fact that if I want to switch from my tablet to my phone I have to go into the app and actually switch it it doesn't auto switch for you like almost every pair of headphones in the world does now. To be honest, I had a lot of expectations and Bose definitely disappointed. Lastly, the case that it comes in is also ridiculously big compared to everything else on the market. Here's the good news, the sound quality is phenomenal and the noise canceling is honestly some of the best if not the best I've ever used. I considered returning these for the full 2-week period but ended up keeping them due to the fact that I've never had buds have such great active noise canceling. If you're a buds enthusiast these might not be for you, if you're traveling a lot and really just want to focus on blocking out the world around you these might be for you.

With every meaningful piece of tech I get. I choose a nickname for it. Something that matches its look, color, and ability. For me the moment I got this blue and gold version it reminded me IKARIS from the Eternals. The power and impact this earphone delivers is just on another level. No earphone I have erer had in Bluetooth matches this level of powerful and smoothness. Frankly, I didn’t think it could be done. I was so nervous about this product because I heard so concern over the firmware and connection issues. But even after the update was loaded, my unit had worked just like it did when I first opened it up. I don’t get drops or connections issues or even app connection issues like some have reported. It just works, at least for my iPhone 14pro. Another thing that blew me away was the comfort. This earphone just stays in my ear perfectly no matter how I move around. It doesn’t need to be jabbed into my ears nor does it create unnecessary pressure or stretch while inside them. They basically disappear unlike some huge stemmed alternatives. Finally let’s just get the obvious out of the way. You already know it is get superior than anything ever created for ANC. Don’t let other overhype on new products and cheaper products because they will never be what the Bose QC II’s are. It just superior in bass, spacious separation, imaging, and proper treble and mid balance and fit long before they destroy everything in AnC quality and strength. So before someone sells you a lie about $100 earphone being better, use your head. There is a reason why the cost is different and it’s not just because of the name on the box.

I am a digital artist who absolutely NEEDS music to work. Along with that, I'm also currently taking care of my mom who is very ill both physically and mentally. Our house is small and she has a tendency to be very loud on the phone. It drove me a little crazy but I know it's important for her to have these sort of outlets because of her conditions, so I decided to invest in some high quality noise cancelling ear phones. Originally, after watching several video reviews, I had bought Bose QuietComfort Earbuds I since they were repeatedly stated to have the best noise cancellation, and that was the most critical component for me. And they definitely did, I remember having the literal A/C blasting right next to me and hearing it as a very soft, distant fan with the noise cancellation component turned on. However, the comfort levels were absolutely missing. Wearing those earphones for over an hour had my ear canals and inner lobe aching for days. DAYS. I wish I was exaggerating. One of the issues with a lot of the videos and marketing is that they're constructed with mostly men in mind, which I'm not. I'm also just under 5 foot so my build is especially smaller than most women too. I kept the earphones anyway because I was so desperate to just have some peace and quiet, and the sound quality was amazing, but I did end up giving them away to a very dear friend of mine who was in a similar predicament as me, but with a bigger ears lol. She said they worked great for her, so it's probably not a common issue, but if this is you're someone like me who often struggles with earbud sizing, you know what I'm talking about. That said, I decided to give these Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II a try because they were visibly smaller and seemed to have more versatility in handling different sized ears in general. I need to say that I am SO glad I did. Just wow!!!!! I didn't even have to use the smallest band and caps for these, they are amazing!!! I can keep them all day and night and not experience the slightest bit of pain after! The design is so accommodating for different fits, where you have a choice in both the cap for the earbud as well as a completely separate band that helps sits the device in your actual ear. I feel like it's perfect for any adult, and probably could even accommodate younger teens too. Something else I want to note is that while the first Quiet Comfort I earbuds didn't particularly weigh TOO heavily, I do feel like these Quiet Comfort II earbuds are even lighter, and I feel that may have had an effect on how easily my ear can endure wearing them as well. It also has the same incredible noise cancellation as QuietComfort I, and incredibly immersive sound quality. Seriously, there's so much my regular speakers don't pick up on that these earphones attune me to. I love listening to music with these! I also love the compact size of the QuietComfort II case in comparison to the Quiet Comfort I too. Bose really made a difference with these, I'm so glad I took the chance to invest in them. I don't know what I'd do without them. I included a pic of them next to my hand just just how small they are. (I'm 4 foot 11 inches, and 115 pounds for reference!) They're a great investment for anyone but if you're built smaller than most and want to invest in some earphones, these are a must.

I would like to start by saying that I have purchased many buds in the past couple years and I've discovered that fit is most important when it comes to getting great sound from buds. When I placed these into my ears and they turned on, it was like the heavens opened up and angels began singing!! I do believe they have the best noise canceling on the market. I also noticed that if these fit properly, they are very hard to pull out due to the reversed rubber catch ring around the bud. You can shake your head and they stay in place. I was hesitating buying these due to the price but I definitely do not regret it! The only downside I can say about these is the app. You would think with such an amazing company they would have put a little more effort. A locator would have been nice as well like Skullcandy.

My search for another set of wireless earbuds began with my wife and I listening to our own separate AirPods Pro's 2. Occasionally when we were wearing them at the same time her music would drop off and mine would come streaming through. So to keep the peace I decided to look for another wireless earbuds outside the Apple ecosystem and I'll explain what I discovered it there are earbuds out there that are better than Apple. Let's be honest we all have criteria ranking of the most important to the least important. Here's my criteria in order of the most important. 1. Staying connected consistently 2. Comfort 3. Sound quality 4. Multipoint connectivity 5. ANC 6. Wireless charging 7. Price. I already own Sennheiser Momentum 3 over the ear headphones so I thought I'd try the Sennheiser Momentum TW3. I bought these on Amazon last month and because I was within the 30 day return window I thought I'd buy the BOSE QC2's and compared them to the TW3's. While the TW3's had attractive features that the BOSE lacked like wireless charging and Multipoint connectivity they were low on my important criteria list. When I wore the QC2's for the first time I was blown away. The sound was so open and wide and as I later found out that is the sound stage. The TW3's while they were clear seemed to sit front and center in my listening field instead of sounding wide. Hope you understand what I'm conveying. My issue with the TW3's was comfort even with trying their optional wing and ear tips. When I would wear them for an hour or so my ears would hurt. When I would wear them to bed and I laid my head on my side they would dig in because they protruded further outside of my ear while the Bose QC2's are more flush and I can lay comfortably on my side. Other issues I was concerned after watching several YouTube videos on the long term reliability of the TW3's that they lost connectivity in one earbud and they would not charge. So while the BOSE QC2 were more expensive and lacked the multi point connectivity and the wireless charging I'm going to keep them and am sending the Sennheiser TW3's back. Finally I wanted to get a case for my new treasures and I found this case that opens differently than the way the QC2's do and it has a latch. See pictures. Even though I bought a blue pair of QC2's I chose red so they would easy to spot down in my backpack when I travel and I like red too :) That my honest review. Hope this helps you with your purchase decision. David

I've tried them all, AirPods Pro, Sony WF-1000XM4, these are easily the best sounding Bluetooth earbuds IMO. They have a slight edge in noise cancellation, sound quality, and battery life when compared to Sony's option. A huge edge in comfort when compared to anything else. The case is a decent form factor, and it doesn't bother me to carry it around... however, no wireless charging. Why? If you don't mind the lack of wireless these are hands down the best option.

The homework that Dr. Amar Bose started continues

What Amar Bose perfected way back in 1989, and years of continuous homework for Bose's Quiet Comfort Division has become a household essential for silencing disruptive background noise while listening to music, movies, and the like. Mr. Bose was very disappointed with a flight when wearing headphones and up until now, we couldn't get the same noise cancellation level as we were wearing higher-profile circumaural headphones up until noise cancellation was perfected with Bose's continuous Noise Cancellation Homework efforts. The Stay-Hear Tips that were used in previous generation earbuds and up to and including some of Bose's own Truly Wireless Earbuds have fit problems by a lot of people, but the new fit profile kit helps these Truly Wireless Earbuds be a more venerable competitor in the Truly Wireless Market, though the $300 MSRP may be a little steep for some people, but despite the High MSRP, once you get the feel of the sound profile of these "Packs-A-Punch" Earbuds from Bose, you'll know why Bose has been doing a TON of homework from head to toe since 1989 to make their Quiet Comfort Acoustic Noise Cancellation Technology much better every time, because it's clear that the late Dr. Bose had two principles behind his Quiet Comfort Technology: Serve Society with Quality Noise Cancelling, and to be the best today, and become better tomorrow. Few competitors can match Bose's commitment to improve their noise cancelling homework.

Tech life can be tiring. Everyday something new comes out claiming to be the best. It's really hard to know when to pull the trigger on something for fear of missing out on something coming around the corner. But with the Bose QCII earphones I no longer fear what's coming tomorrow because what I have today is too magical to replace. The earphones ANC is completely the best on the market and there is no purpose to need more than this. The sound quality is on par with IEM's easily the best Bluetooth sound quality I've ever heard. Lastly the fit and comfort are the things you reach for to fall asleep. They are that good. And yes you can enjoy hours of it because of the great battery life. Do yourself a favor and just stop guessing. Just go out and get the Bose QCII.

I love the new smaller design, the custom fit, and of course the sound quality of these earbuds. There’s definitely more sub bass present in this new version, so genres like Hip-Hop & EDM sound amazing. The EQ in the Bose Music App works great too so you can personalize the sound to your liking. Bose took the first gen and improved it in every aspect. The noise cancellation is “God-Tier” as YouTuber Flossy Carter puts it lol. The only problem is that it does not support wireless charging

Compact size but similar sound to original QC buds

I've been using the original Bose QC earbuds for a few years. I was always impressed with the level of noise cancellation that you can get from just earbuds. While they work well, I also thought the buds themselves and the storage case were really large. But one of the reasons I chose Bose over other brands was that the original ear tips (the "stayhear" style) don't get shoved into your ear canal, which I find to be uncomfortable. So I was wary about the new design of these buds, but I took a chance on them anyway. Most noticeably, the buds and case are much smaller than the original though that comes at the expense of no longer having wireless charging. If it's not clear from the photos, the tips on these new earbuds do get pressed into your ear canal; however, they are actually more similar to the previous style than I thought. The tips are thin hollow silicone and very soft. So far I haven't found them to be uncomfortable like other brands that are designed to stick in your ear canal. It took some playing around with the different sizes (of both the tips and the "wing" that you can add to them) to get my earbuds to fit right. In my case, one ear needed a different size than the other. The sound is quite good, not all that different than my original QCs. In fact, going back and forth a few times, I'm not sure I can tell the difference. The noise cancellation, from what I can tell, is a small step up from the original QCs. I have yet to use them on a plane, but in drowning out air conditioners, a nearby freeway, and other ambient sounds, I do notice a small improvement. I suspect that much of it has to do with the tighter fit that these tips have in your ear canal, though some professional reviewers mentioned that Bose said the noise cancellation algorithm is also more advanced in these. As always, they want you to use the Bose app, but you only really need to install it to do any firmware updates and get the "tap" shortcuts set up. Once you've done that, you can delete the app and use them just like regular bluetooth headphones. One minor nit-pick is that the method of changing the noise reduction levels through tapping on the earbud has changed -- it is now a press-and-hold, which actually takes a few seconds longer than the previous method (and sometimes fails to register). This is irritating when someone is talking to you and you want to quickly turn on ambient mode. Instead, you may have to simply pull out an earbud manually to talk to someone.

These have excellent quality sound first and foremost with actual noise cancelling. They do have adjustable ear tips but I used the stock which fit fine for me. Battery will last you about 6.5 hours without charge, but charge exceptionally fast in the case. Only negative for me is the build of the charging case. It has fallen from no higher than 2 feet and have broken consistently every time. For such a high price I would expect a better build. Sometimes the touch sensors are not as responsive as I would like them to be on the buds but overall the earbuds quality of sound overall are unmatched. Recommend getting the warranty.

I recently purchased the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II and I am extremely impressed with their performance. The noise cancellation feature is top-notch and truly blocks out external noise, making them perfect for use in loud environments or for drowning out background noise while working or studying. The sound quality is also excellent, with clear and powerful audio that really brings music and podcasts to life. The earbuds are also very comfortable to wear and fit securely, so I don't have to worry about them falling out while on the move. One of the standout features of the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II is their long battery life. I can use them all day without having to worry about recharging, and the charging case is compact and easy to carry around. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II. They are a worthwhile investment for anyone in need of high-quality noise cancelling earbuds with excellent sound and a long battery life.

Probably the best set of earbuds to date that I've owned. The sound quality is amazing, and the noise canceling is unlike any other pair of earbuds I've owned. These beat my Galaxy buds 2 pros by a mile, and the battery life is amazing. Only issue I ran into is after I set them up for the first time and disconnected them, I had trouble reconnecting them to my phone. Only took me about 2 to 3 minutes though so not a huge deal to me.

I have been a fan of Bose since my childhood and had an opportunity and money to buy it . Worth every penny. I recently acquired the Bose QC Earphones II, and I'm thrilled to share how these earphones have genuinely enhanced my audio journey with their impressive features. Outstanding Noise Cancellation: Bose QC Earphones II offer world-class noise cancellation. They transport you to a serene world of music, eliminating external distractions such as airplane noise, coffee shop chatter, or public transport rumble. Clarity and Detail: The earphones produce crystal-clear audio, allowing me to hear every detail in my music. Whether it's the subtle plucking of guitar strings, the delicate nuances in a singer's voice, or the intricate layers of an orchestral composition, these earphones capture it all with precision. Balanced Soundstage: The Bose QC Earphones II offer a well-balanced soundstage, which means that every element of the music is presented with equal importance. The bass, midrange, and treble frequencies are harmoniously blended, resulting in a full and immersive audio experience. Instrument Separation: These earphones excel at separating individual instruments and voices within a song. This makes it easy to discern different instruments in complex arrangements, enhancing the overall listening experience While the Bose QC Earphones II offer an impressive array of positive features, it's important to consider a few potential drawbacks: Price Point: The premium quality and advanced features of these earphones do come at a premium price. While the investment is justified for audio enthusiasts and frequent travelers, it might be on the higher side for budget-conscious consumers. Bulkier Design: The comfortable fit of the QC Earphones II is due in part to their over-ear design. However, this design can make them bulkier compared to in-ear alternatives, making them slightly less convenient for on-the-go use.

Sound quality and bass is amazing right out of the box!! The size of the earbuds stay in the ear when walking. I do like the color that i chose, but it would be nice to have more color options. I had the sony earbuds for 2 years and the battery stop charging, so i purchase the Bose earbuds. The sony earbuds also didn't have any bass and the sound quality was a big disappointment.
