These stands are expensive but cheaper than the stand made for the new B&W 805 speakers. It is very solidly built and simple to put together. All metal except for the base which is solid MDF. Front of the column is slightly rounded.
Since the screw holes on the speaker plate do not match up to my speakers, I used blue tac to secure it which works well enough. I also added inert filler in the column and IsoAcoustics Gaia feet.

Excellent stand. Very solid, easy to set up and hide the wires nicely. Perfect match with the B&W 706 S3. Beautiful to look at. Expensive.
