Picked this up because our old pot (different brand) didn’t brew hot coffee. I’ve also been wanting one that had network capability. My wife just wanted one that didn’t look cheap. This one filled all the blanks. The good: looks great! Feels solid and feels solid and quality. Makes great HOT coffee. Didn’t realize our old brewer wasn’t really bringing out the flavor like this one. On days it’s not programmed like weekends, I am able to start it from bed on my phone with the app but couldn’t get Alexa to work even after installing two different skills. Not big deal tho, probably wouldn’t ever use that function anyway. My only real complaint is that I have is the carafe. It’s really great except mine has had something rattling around inside from the time we unpacked it. Sounds like little BBs that are loose in there just above base. That’s a bummer for a $300+ appliance. I do recommend otherwise.

This coffee maker is so pretty .It matches my cafe appliances perfectly. Most important is it brews the best coffee.

The kettle quality is very good. The built in features are easy to understand and use. The brewing is fast and is able to make perfect coffee. This review has 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is improvement in setting up the Wi-Fi/connection capability, along with linking to Alexa or Google. The product itself is beautiful, a bold statement in your modern day kitchen!

I wanted to love this coffee maker, I really did. And to be honest, I’m going to probably keep it but it is so frustrating that every time I make coffee, the grounds overflow and often times get into my coffee. The funny thing is that I’m using less coffee than they recommend. Other than that, the coffee comes out great. It doesn’t always feel enjoyable when you’re spitting out the grounds that wash up on your cup. Beautiful design, just not functional. 20 minutes to clean the coffee grounds mess, every morning is no fun.

I still feel guilty about spending $400 on a coffee maker (to match my new GE Cafe Fridge, but I must say, it's a wonderful coffee maker. It makes the best coffee i've ever had. Well done GE!

This is a fantastic machine. You can do so much with it. I love that you are able to pick up the strength cups and temperature. I also love that you were able to download it on your phone and start the machine from anywhere in your house when you’re connected to the Wi-Fi I simply wake up and start it in the coffee is ready for me when I get to the coffee maker, but you can also make schedules for the coffee maker so you don’t have to start it on your phone every time there is no warmer on the carafe, but the crafters hold it warm for at least a couple hours, and by that time of the coffee should be drank or thrown out, and another pot should be made to enjoy a good cup of coffee anyways. I highly recommend this product. I love the look of the machine it’s simple and it isn’t an eyesore was sitting out on the counter.

Beautiful addition to the kitchen. Brews fast! Only downside is that it does not keep the pot warm.

Really excited by the look of the product and the chance for starting coffee via my phone. Unfortunately, I never got there. Packaging is really well done and that’s where it ends. Materials feel cheap. Followed instructions exactly; no detail on what to do with the carbon filter (it’s obvious, but still completely missing from the instructions). Go to brew first cup and tells me to add H2O! Even though water is to the max. Then I get an Error 3 message, but there’s nothing in the manual, nor anything on their website about what that means. I decide to try to connect via app, which is slow and took three efforts to finally connect. Still being told to add water, so I click support and call for help. After waiting on hold, I’m only talking to App support, so he transfers me to GE support...who after a 5-minute touch tone hell, tells me they’re closed. So, I dumped out the water, dried it off, and taking it back to Best Buy. Reading the reviews tonight, sounds like I’m not the first to have this exact problem. Just ordered a Nespresso to replace this. Big fail, especially at this price point.

Excellent drip coffee maker. Never disappoints me. I use the wifi connection and program brewing times every day.

We have several cafe appliances and we love them all, stunning design and very well built. This coffee machine has been a great addition to our kitchen and makes a really great coffee. It’s got also many different settings to create your perfect cup but we mostly use the “Gold” preset. The only thing that bothers me is the water tank that gets foggy after coffee is brewed. Adding a little vent to the cover or a little slot at the top end of the water tank wall would solve the problem and would be a nice design improvement.

Can't complete connection, received with front plate issue (see pictures) - This is quite annoying for the pretty big sticker price Took over a week to get here too and it's a hassle to return...

Makes the best coffee! Easy to use. Coffee stays hot for hours.

Worth every penny! My wife and I absolutely love this coffee machine! We’ve owned everything from cheap $50 Kurig to the more expensive brands and decided to give Cafe a try and we LOVE this thing! The difference in taste of the coffee itself is much more bold and so flavorful that we don’t even need syrup at times. This is money definitely well spent and I definitely stand by Cafe and this coffee machine. I even purchased the Geek Squad 2 year protection, which is obviously worth it as Best Buy will replace when any issues arrive and not worry about repairs.

Not only is this a beautiful addition to our kitchen appliances but it makes the best coffee of any machine we have owned before. It matches our other Cafe appliances.

I haven’t had great luck with this coffee maker. The recommended scooper they give that says 1 scoop to cup is way too much coffee. If you make 10 cups and do 10 scoops you will end up with this picture (for reference this is 8 scoops to 10 cups of water, so even less than recommended and it still does this) the sweet spot is 7 scoops for 10 cups of water and you’ll get a little mess but not this bad. It’s beautiful and that’s about it. I would not recommend this to a friend unless you want to have grinds in you coffee and clean a mess every day. I’ve also tried this with the mesh liner and removing the mesh liner and using a number 4 coffee liner. Same problem regardless of filter used.

Quality coffee maker. Very quiet, quick brew time, great tasting coffee and nice looking! Color is more matte dark grey than black. Would recommend.
