Overall you will not be disappointed with this. If you’re on the fence, just get it. Grind consistency is much better than other models I’ve seen at this price point. Cannot vouch for espresso but the largest grind on extra fine is perfect for my pour over timing. Only complaint is if you weigh your beans there is some retention, especially when it’s first used. This then causes cleaning to be a little troublesome and beans to wasted if you overcompensate for retention. But at least it comes with a brush! I must say this is very typical for all machines of this design so don’t knock it too much for retention/cleaning. The grind is GREAT.

Fantastic grinder! We decided on this one based on a Americans Test Kitchen recommendation and as usual they were right. Solid construction and looks good as well.

Capresso Dream Machine became a NIGHTMARE

Capresso Dream Machine became a NIGHTMARE - PURCHASE February, 2019
1.8 years ago, my 50 year old Braun German-made grinder expired of old age. I purchased the Capresso 575 which for under two years was my dream coffee grinder. I've left multiple positive answers and great references for this machine since I bought it BUT NOT NOW (read on!) - first thing in the morning and late at night (I'm a retired firefighter/medic and got pushed into Public Health after retirement so starting in early March, 2020, have found myself working 16-20 hours per day/7 days a week for essentially no pay). The Capresso was so quiet and so reliable -- UNTIL IT WAS NOT! This morning, anticipating yet another day of increased infection rate, more citizen issues, and the need for my morning coffee at 5:48 a.m., I turned the time wheel and no power. The receptacle was not the problem. The grinder motor simply would not even operate. The Juro Capresso provides no reference nor assistance. Searches for troubleshooting suggest this can happen but no reason given. The power cord has never even been extended or stretched. The hopper sits and spins perfectly. No troubleshoot idea applies. It simply DIED. The base is impenetrable because Juro used bolts that are either proprietary or are non-removable. Answer IT Breaks, you buy again seems to be their answer. Can I recommend it now? NO - DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND IT IS UNRELIABLE!

A decently priced conical burr grinder. The grind is quite even but I took off a star because the very fine grind settings are less consistent. Overall, still a great burr grinder for the price.

Had a blade coffee grinder for years. Now that I know the difference, how I survived this long is a miracle. Rarely do I give five stars but this is worth the money. It’s easy to use. It does an excellent job. Some have complained about static electricity causing the grounds to spill when pouring out. It’s really a low humidity problem that is to blame. My advice is to get a whole house humidifier if it’s a problem.

Outstanding. Makes consistent replicable grinds. Easy to operate. Quite. Maximizes the properties of the coffee. Fills the kitchen with the smell of fresh ground coffee.

This little machine does a wonderful job of grinding my espresso beans to the best level! It is relatively quiet, very quick, and designed to make it easy to measure out the perfect amount of espresso for a perfect cup of Americano!

We wore out our first grinder, an earlier version of this one. This new model is sturdier, seems more powerful and is easier to clean. It’s also a bit quieter. Not cheap, but great for the constant coffee drinker.

Wife loves this coffee grinder. Changes between 4 different blends on a weekly basis and so far so good. She mentions how easy and quiet it operates and after a little trial and error, the grinds are perfect for the coffee maker.
Great value & quality...Can get messy & hard clean

Well made, great value for the money, and one of the quietest grinders I have had (if you get the stainless steel vs. plastic)...BUT its static does make a small mess with the coffee chaff and is a little cumbersome to clean. I recommend this product, but you will need to get a better cleaning brush to clean the grinders and inside.

It’s fine. It’s annoying it doesn’t have a button and instead is on a timer
Does grind coffee well

Reliable and easy to use. Grinds to desired levels consistently.
The timer/cups takes some manual adjustment - it seems more like an estimate rather than something exact.

I was on the fence to get it or not. I finally did. It grinds consistently and does it relatively quietly. I love fresh coffee I make use of this grinder and percolator. Cleaning is easy and more importantly it is stable on the countertop. I like it and have no hesitation in recommending this grinder.

I had a Braun burr grinder for 20 years with ~ 10,000 grinds on it. The day it died was awful, so I researched these new burr grinders for quite some time. This Capresso grinder (so far) is fantastic. Not only does it result in a consistent grind with my beans, but it is by far the quietest burr grinder that I have ever heard. It is not messy, and I am super happy so far.

Bought this to replace our previous grinder (same product). Happy with our first one and equally happy with this one. We are 2+ years in, use every day, and it's still going strong.

Me and my wife do take our coffee seriously and this Capresso burr grinder makes us enjoy our coffee more. So easy to use and the motor is not as loud as the other brands. Grinding our favorite coffee beans with this awesome burr grinder makes us one happy coffee family. Thank you Best Buy for carrying this product. Soooo love it.
