    Big Improvement from OEM

My OEM CPU fan was dying and causing overheating issues so I needed a quick replacement. I was a little hesitant to get this one since it was significantly bigger than the original fan, but I've never had trouble with Cooler Master stuff before and I do game a lot, so it was worth getting in the end. I have an MSI B450M Bazooka with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600. This came with all the necessary pieces to install, plus a small tube of thermal paste, which was nice. It was pretty easy to install. I did have to remove my GPU to get the bottom fan bracket on, but that was no problem. The brackets that hold the fan in place had me a little wary at first since they didn't seem super secure, but once I get them on there they were plenty snug. It also comes with extra items in case you want to attach a second fan. This fan is incredibly quiet, even when I'm running intensive games. It also keeps my PC much cooler than my old fan. Even though this was kind of an emergency purchase, overall I'm very pleased with it, and it was an inexpensive upgrade from my original fan. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to replace your original fan and looking for a middle ground upgrade.

Super easy to install, very very quiet, way more mounting hardware options than I will ever need, and keeps my CPU super chilly! Idles at 29 degrees and barely gets over 50 on a full load (i5 9400f). For the price, I really don't see ever needing anything more for a long while. Super happy I upgraded!

I recently built my first gaming pc and decided on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition. After a few weeks of use, I’m thoroughly impressed with both its performance and presentation. Installation & Build Quality The installation process was surprisingly straightforward. The mounting system is intuitive, and everything you need is included in the box. Whether you're experienced or a first-time builder, you shouldn’t run into issues. Once installed, the cooler feels solid and secure, with no unnecessary flex or movement. Aesthetics Visually, this cooler is a standout. The all-black design, from the heatsink to the fan and brackets, gives it a sleek, modern look that blends beautifully into any build—especially darker or RGB-lit setups. It adds a touch of understated style without being flashy. Performance Most importantly, the Hyper 212 Black Edition does an excellent job at keeping temperatures in check. My CPU stays cool even under load, and what's just as impressive is how quiet the fan is while doing it. It runs almost silently, even during intensive tasks or gaming sessions, which is a huge plus for anyone sensitive to noise or using their PC in a quiet environment. Conclusion Overall, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition offers outstanding value. It combines easy installation, effective cooling, and premium aesthetics in a very affordable package. For anyone looking to upgrade their stock cooler or build a quiet, good-looking rig, this cooler is a top-tier choice.

I ended up going with this over the rgb for a black build and I would say I’m overall impressed. Keeps temps below 70 Celsius on most anything i throw at it. This cooler is also surprisingly quiet for the price and performance.

I went out to grab this version of the Hyper 212 Black edition fan since my older version of the same model (it seems?) was starting to have really weird ramp ups so I decided to purchase this refreshed version of the CPU fan and its working excellent!! (Installing it is pretty simple as well, which I very much so value in addition to other things) Condition is great, the fan is working as intended and my issue was resolved just by replacing the fan. If you're looking to purchase this fan, you will NOT regret it.

Very simple to install. My older AIO liquid cooled system that came with my computer was failing - either the thermal paste was bad or the pump wasn’t working well, so I replaced it with this unit. Everything you need is in the box including the thermal compound, MasterCool Pro. Previous idle temps were in the low 40’s, with full load temps in the 90’s on an i7-8700K CPU at base clock of 3.7Ghz all-core. Now my idle temps are in the 28-30 range and under full load I hit low to mid 50’s. BIG DIFFERENCE! Also, it’ll clear four DIMMS no problem, even taller ones. So if you’re worried if the fan will interfere with your RAM, don’t sweat it.

The Hyper 212 is nothing special, but it was great for my i7-10700k. Sound is very quiet and keeps my CPU at around 55 celsius under load. The all black edition pairs very well for a non-RGB build.

Way better than a faulty liquid-cooled one. I replaced the bad liquid cooler on my PC. The process was fast and super easy. My PC is running cooler than before and quieter.

After installation my CPU temps dropped overall around 10C. The fan is a bit difficult to install if you don't have much room in your build. The heatsink has a usual installation, the fan is held on to the heatsink with a couple of metal prongs. Overall the quality is just ok but it works well with a proper installation. Some of these models come with 2 fans to surround the heatsink, this model comes with one.

I installed this CPU fan for my Intel i9 9900K processor. It works perfectly for the CPU. The only setback is it's bulky size. I had to cut a recess hole in the side of the case.

The best cpu cooler! I think AIO cpu coolers are just for show because I've owned an AIO before this fan cooler and its done better with the temperatures.

Does the job of keeping an i7-10700k cool and was pretty easy to install. Wish it was RGB but those fans are about $17 and clip on easily. Have seen them for cheaper including the RGB version but thats the prices these days with shortages

I build a new PC and the case was a Lian Li 001 Razer ed. With the side window you have to take this metal piece off then the window will fit. Its like a hair but the glass is not touching so so your research I did not but I still love it. It keeps my I5 nice and cool. Plz dont ask about overclocking because on how fast pc,s are now I dont feel the need when with a rtx 2060 super I can run all my games at max settings with out slow down so why bother.

Great option for cheap cooling. Used this to replace a water cooler that was failing. And it keeps my CPU cool at 50 deg C max. Previously had to turn down clocks to prevent overheating. Just be careful that it fits on your board and case. This was a tight fit on mini-ATX board with memory. But not complaining. It was easy to install. Just be sure to watch a few videos before hand so you know what you're doing. Instructions in box are completely visual based on your chipset.

    LGA1700 fitment on an MSI Z90-A DDR4

I have the MSI Z90-A DDR4 motherboard (bought here) and an LGA 1700 cpu (i7). I was worried this would not fit, but it's works just fine. Temps are stable and the heatsink is nice and tight. I used the larger standoffs included. Make sure the box has the larger standoffs and slotted lower bracket. Make sure you have clearance as this is a vertical-style heatsink. Perfect to get going right away!

I've used this cooler plenty of times. Put a second fan on and you have a cooler that is great for overclocking. I would go with this before something that is overpriced to include prebuilt water cooling that really isn't all that better.
