The Corsair Void V2 is your budget friendly headset that offers a competitive gaming experience on all platforms. While it may seem like it doesn't have much to offer don't let this headset fool you. So first and foremost let me start by saying i fully understand this units price point and it would be unfair to judge against something not in the same category. When reviewing this headset it was done apples against apples. That being said out of the box you get the main unit, USB-C cable and the wireless dongle. The chassis is your typical composite style skeleton with your basic foam padding. No the ear cups are not removable so maintain them well. The mic is your typical flip up/flip down style. One thing to note here was during gaming i noticed there would be times where if i had my mic flipped down from a previous chat session and turned the headset on in that position for a another session the mic would not work at times. I would have to flip the mic up then back down again in order to get it to work. Im not too concerned for this as the unit is updatable via firmware. My honest first impression was "here we go with another painful cheap headset chassis." But i was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this headset really is. Coming from what i would call a medium size head that i have, hours of run time left very little to almost no discomfort. In fact there times after long gaming sessions i forgot i even had it on. Chat quality is very crystal clear and does a good job at blocking out background noises. Audio quality is a little interesting, and what i mean to that is it seems to very from game to game greatly. Example, playing call of duty left me a bit disappointed when explosions would go off and the drivers would push the bass so hard to hit that tune, that the noise would come in all distorted. Im not expecting this unit to sound like a box office movie but there is currently no option to adjust the equalizer settings. Games like the Medium left me in awe as the sound quality was so crisp i could hear rain drops hitting the floor. Having Dolby Atmos built in led to a deeper immersion as i could hear what direction footsteps where coming from. The headset does link up very easily to the iCue software which will allow you to perform firmware updates, link up lighting effects, and even offers Nvidia Broadcast which filters outgoing noises through your chat mic insure a clean, professional chat session. Keep in mind this is only valid with Nvidia cards. The headset does provide two action buttons with one being below the power button and one being a push in scroll wheel for the volume. At this current time and only button assignment you have access to is the scroll wheel. Battery life, this is where the unit really shines. I have had sooooo many headsets that claim battery life this and that and you never get the claims. This unit claims 65 hours of battery life and i'll just say this, on a full charge after 30 hours of gaming i still have 89% battery life left, so ya im happy in that department. Here's my final thoughts. For a budget friendly headset this is a no brainer. Corsair offers so much for so little. You have a unit that has bluetooth capability so you can connect with anything that can receive a bluetooth signal. You get superb battery life, and while audio quality is not consistent it is very far from being horrible. iCue allows for RGB and mic customization along with easy firmware updates. My only real gripe is the power button. I hate its location and accessibility. Other than that it is hands down the best budget friendly unit i have had the privilege of trying and one that i would buy for sure if im ever in a pinch. The only reason for 4 stars is the current lack of a iCue equalizer.

Since I got back into gaming, I added a gaming laptop to my arsenal when playing on the go. A good pair of headphones is a must, and I have accumulated several headsets in the process. The Corsair Void Wireless v2 Gaming Headset is a welcome addition to my collection and it performed almost as expected. Compared to some headsets I own, the Corsair’s design is low-key yet modern. It’s an all black model made of good quality matte plastics with angular shaped speaker housing rounded at the edges with the shiny Corsair insignia against the matte backdrop. Two RGB slits on the earcups light up when connected and are easily customizable through the iCUE software. The microphone boom has a swivel when not in use, and it has a power and a microphone mute/pause button, and a discreet volume wheel. I’ve worn them for a couple of hours at a time and I have no complaints. The padded headband rests easily on your head and the earpads apply a good but comfortable pressure on your ears without becoming bothersome. The connection can be achieved either via Bluetooth or a 2.4Ghz dongle. The dongle connection was seamless and quick with no noticeable latency especially with games where communication timing is key. I tried it with both computers and a PS5 with much success. My main issue was with the Bluetooth connection which was next to impossible with any mobile devices; I tried with two phones, an iPad, a Pixel tablet and none would stay connected for more than mere seconds. The connection was successful with both my PC and gaming laptop and was stable. There was a bit of latency which is to be expected for a Bluetooth connection but it was minimal. I really like the sound of these headsets. The bass is tight and solid and the highs are clear with good midrange. Corsair’s iCUE software can be used to enhance the sound and the RGB color spectrum and effects. These headphones are Dolby Atmos spatial audio capable and it is surprisingly accurate while playing games. The microphone works well while playing games according to other players, with clear and good volume. It automatically shuts off when in the upward position. I was not expecting such a good performance. And speaking of performance, Corsair claims 65 hours of battery life; I have not tested it but after playing a total of 10 hours during the weekend, the battery charge is still at over 80%. One thing I didn’t care much about was the RGB lighting which, in my opinion, is not bright enough and a bit pedestrian compared to other gaming headsets. In conclusion, I give the Corsair Void Wireless v2 gaming headset a passing grade. It excels where it counts with outstanding sound, perfect for all types of games, and great comfort. It has a stealthy vibe with modern looks and good quality build. My only gripe was the issues with Bluetooth connectivity, but the dongle is the way to go for gaming. Another good product by Corsair.

Let’s keep this short and sweet. This is my first pair of Corsair headphones. I usually use ones from either Hyper X or Razer, but I decided to give the Void V2 a try. Inside the box comes the headphones (USB C powered), a USB Wireless Receiver, a charging cable, and the usual paperwork. The Void V2 promises to give you access to all the immersive chaos and sensory experience that comes from your game audio while providing sustained comfort and wireless freedom. But is this what I’ve experienced? Let’s find out below. The Void V2 has a stylish gamer design that fits its purpose. The V2’s appears to be built from a durable plastic material that makes it feel lightweight but also solid in the hand at the same time. The ear cushions are made from a breathable cloth-like material that is also present on the center of the wide headband. Over my daily hours of use, the Void V2 was quite comfortable, at no time did I feel like I was wearing a clamp on my head, like I’ve experienced with other headphones. I also like that both ear cups can be turned so that you can lay them flat against a table or desk. The left earphone houses all the controls ( on/off button, custom button, volume control) and also has the USB C charge port and the non-removable mic. When it comes to audio performance, this is where the Void V2 starts to muscle up, with its custom-tuned 50mm drivers delivering a layered audio experience you need to perform your best in your games, competitive or not. I played various games across my PC and PS5, such as Call of Duty, The Finals, and God of War, and I could hear every footstep, every gunshot, or throwable that headed in my direction/ whizzed pass my ear, enhancing my overall immersion. I was very impressed with the audio from the Void V2’s even before I tuned it via the Tempest 3D audio on my PS5, where I could utilize the presets already available or personalize one to my liking. You could also access Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio through the Dolby Access app on your computer, but I didn’t get around to tinkering with that or the iCue software. Additionally, the omnidirectional mic worked well. From my recordings and conversations with friends, my audio comes through clearly, and background noises were rarely ever picked up. The mic also had a flip to mute feature, which is always appreciated. I’m happy to report that the Void V2 shines when it comes to connectivity. It has both a 2.4Ghz ( via the USB C dongle) and Bluetooth wireless connection. At no point while gaming/chatting in the general vicinity of my PC or PS5 did I suffer any audio quirks or drops. I was also impressed by how quickly it could switch between the connectivity type(and thereby the audio source) once I pressed the custom button found below the on/off button. Batterywise, the Void V2 is a champ, with it still having juice after a full week of mixed usage but mainly daily gaming sessions of 4+ hours. Corsair claims up to 70 hours of battery life with 15 mins of charging providing up to 6 hours of juice. I think I’ve clocked in at least 50 hours, and it’s still going, so I don’t doubt it can make it close to that 70 hours. The Corsair Void Wireless V2 is an attractive and appealing gamer focused headset that prioritizes immersive sounds, wireless flexibility, and comfort. This overall package is very hard to beat at this price, and I recommend it to both new and long time gamers.

The Corsair Void Wireless v2 has a lot going for it. I don't really understand the value of RGB on a gaming headset, so I'm left wondering if it would be a better deal if it was priced a little lower without any RGB, but since so many headsets under $150 come with RGB I guess it's a required feature at this point. #Unboxing and first impressions# The Corsair Void Wireless V2 comes in a pretty standard box and doesn't come with a lot of frills. The box has the headset itself, an extremely large USB-A dongle, and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable. The mic is permanently attached to the headset. The Void v2 feels very light but sturdy, and it has very plush feeling cloth padding. #Using the Void Wireless V2# The Void V2 is extremely comfortable on my head. The padding for the headband and ear cups is cloth and while not extremely soft textured, it has very decent padding that's pliable enough to not put pressure on my glasses. From a sound quality perspective, the Void V2 sounds pretty good for a gaming headset in this price bracket. I personaly prefer headphonese that aren't overly boomy and the Void V2 fits this perfectly. Corsair includes a Dolby Atmos license for the headset, so there's a decent value-add there. The microphone is fantastic for the Void V2. I immediately got compliments for the mic quality when I joined both Discord and work meetings with the Void V2 on, and these are people that I often use standalone mic mounted to a boom arm to talk with. The RGB on the headset is "there" but it's mostly unobtrusive. There are two small light bars on the front side of the headset. It's possible with some glasses or a gloss finished display that you might see reflections of the lights, although I didn't have this problem. You can control the lights and sync them with other Corsair accessories via their iCUE software. The biggest negative with the headset is the giant size of the USB dongle. It's crazy big, and uses USB-A which is becoming harder and harder to justify in 2025 in my opinion. On the plus side, I got really good range with the Void V2. I could easily go down to my kitchen and maintain a conversation without the audio breaking up. #Final thoughts# Comparing the Void V2 to other wireless gaming headsets I've used over the last few years, it slots in very high on the list in terms of microphone quality. The mic has great sound and it is very adjustable thanks to the thin design of the boom. Overall sound quality for music is good, though it lacks the tight bass of some more expensive headsets that I've reviewed. For gaming, it has a very balanced sound and includes Dolby Atmos for games that don't have Atmos built in. If the dongle was either much smaller or was USB-C with an adapter for USB-A like most devices now, it would get a higher score from me.

Corsair is back with the latest gaming headset with The Wirelesss Void 2, this headset support PC, Mac, Playstation and Nintendo Switch. it’s also equipped with dolby atmos spatial audio, a long last thing battery life up to 65 hr with Bluetooth and 2.4ghz support. DEVICE: the Void 2 is a bulking looking headset, most of the body is made out of plastic it does have a hint of RGB on both of the side of the gear covers the omni microphone is way better than the previous version, it’s thinner and quality alone looks much better. the ear muff also has a great padding all around including the head support foam. The text around the head is fairly small but with implemented the looks of the headset very clearly. EXPERIENCE: i’ve tested this headset on my Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch both did not experience any headset issue at all. so i couldn’t say much on that part beyond it works flawlessly, but I did most of my hrs spend playing and using this headset on PC. i’ve mentioned above that the headset looks big, but after spending time with I do appreciate the weight of this headset that after playing The Finals for 6 hrs in one day I did not experience any headset fatigue around my ear. the foam on this headset is one of the best most comfortable experience that I have that also did not itch my ear after wearing for such a. long period of time. advertise Battery is around 65 and I can honestly say I think it can definitely go that far, i’m over 40+ of gaming with this headset this week and so far no issue. I love the look of the thin simplified look of the microphone, quality of the audio have zero complain, I am using Dolby atmos setting on my PC, this headset performed with great clarity and I did not experience any buzzing/ or white noise while using the headset which overall satisfaction using the Void 2 has beed no problem. i’m not a big fan of RGB but I small amount is good, and i’m ok with Void 2 having 2 stripes for RGB color on this headset. I do wish it has a bit more mental maybe but overall no issue with the build quality, it has a tiny bit of flex which great but I would not push it too much. the look of this headset is almost very similar to the previous Void honestly. the ear cuff can also be removed so I think maybe later on you can replaced with it an after market covers. CONCLUSION: Void wireless v2 it’s a solid performing headset from corsair. I small minor complaint is that the USB cord is fairly short so if you forget to charge it you don’t have a choice but to put it on the side due to the wire being too short. connecting to my PC with the dongle works in an instant. Bluetooth work great I did not experience any delay which great, overall great quality. no issue with the built that I have audio is top notch while playing, The finals and Halo infinite as well as using it on discord for chat, good job corsair I highly recommend this one.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Corsair Void V2. Given the price I had expected a headset that was budget quality, but was surprised by how actual good they were. Thats not to say they will compete with the top end wireless headsets, but they definitely punch above their weight class when it comes to other headsets I've used in this price range. Pros Extremely comfortable design Great battery life Decent sound quality Cons Mic sound quality could be better Shallow earmuffs Paywalled software features When it comes to the build for this headset I have to point out the weigh first. These are very light weight. When wearing them, especially after wearing any of my other headsets, these are almost like you're not wearing anything. Now a tradeoff with that is going to be the extremely fragile feeling plastic. I haven't had any issues with durability, but the plastic does feel weak. Given the weight I think its a worthy trade off. The headrest and muffs on the ear pieces are made of an extremely breathable fabric. While the texture can be annoying for some, it does help so that you don't get hot wearing these. The mic has a nice bendable boom so you can adjust it any way you like, and it mutes automatically when flipped up, a nice feature to have. There is a programmable button on the side, though I honestly never used it. The sound quality is pretty good for a more mid range budget headset. It has some distortion at higher levels, and the bass quality is decent. Its not going to blow your mind with sound quality, but it is passable. The only issue I had with sound quality was when I was voice chatting with a friend. The mic sound quality sounds very synthetic. Its not as natural as my other headset. Its not terrible, just not as good as other headsets. Finally, the software. I really dislike iCUE. It has been plagued in the past with performance issues, and now is no different. When not using the headset it eats 1% of CPU scheduling, and when using it it can go up to 5% from what I've seen. That may not sound like a lot, but when playing competitive shooters and you're CPU bound, this can have an impact on your frametimes. There is basic EQ features within the software, but nothing that will fix the Mic issue. A saving grace of this headset is that you don't really need the software in order to use these things. They are plug and play. Given the lack of functionality in the software, I'd advise simply not installing it. One additional gripe of the software is there is a "Pro" EQ mixing piece that is locked behind a paywall. In order to use that feature you have to subscribe. I don't know what it offers specifically, but I really dislike when features my hardware I paid for are locked behind a paywall.

The Corsair Void V2 is a great mid-tier headset that should satisfy the needs of most users. It’s surprisingly comfortable, and the sound is actually quite impressive, especially if you’re listening to Dolby Atmos content. Here are a few things to note: No Slipstream – I was really hoping this headset would support Slipstream so I could use it alongside my Corsair mouse and keyboard, ideally consolidating everything into a single Slipstream dongle. Unfortunately, this headset only supports Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless, with no Slipstream option. Flexibility – This headset really shines in terms of flexibility. Switching between PC, PlayStation, phone, etc., is quick and easy. The mic boom is also very adjustable, but unfortunately the mic is restricted to a single side (the left). RGB and Aesthetics – The RGB lighting is excellent, all of the colors are bright and vibrant. Aesthetically, the headset looks great. It’s beefy, but still looks sleek and modern. Overall, it’s a great headset that checks all the boxes for most people. I do wish the mic could be used on either side, and I’d prefer it have removable mic for when I want to use them as just headphones. Still, those are luxury preferences rather than actual necessities.

Great headset for long hours of gaming. This is not my first experiencewith the Corsair gaming peripherals. I have had opportunity to use several of their products and heve never been dissapointed. This Corsair Void is no different. First impressions are important. On opening the box, it was well packed, well presented and had a nice, quality feel. They were quite comfortable, lighweight, and the earcups sealed tightly, without being uncomfortable. Of the feature-set, some standuts are the 2.4 GHz and Bluetoooth connectivity options. An advertised 65 hour (I can't vouch, because I have not used them that long yet) battery life. Omni-directional microphone with "flip-to-mute". Just flip the microphone up and it automatically mutes. One of the coolest features is one that I love. That is Dolby Atmos. If you are not familiar, Atmos supported platforms provide a sound-stage that provides a 360 degree sound-field, and directional sound. By that, I mean bullets sound like they may be coming to youfrom above/below/left to right, fornt to back. And not just bulets, but planes, vehicles, sirens etcetera. Very cool feature and this does it well. In all, this is a quality choice for a decent price. End of the day, I would (and have) reccomend to a friend.

Corsair Void Wireless V2 is perfect gaming headset for me. It is very comfortable even when wearing glasses. It does not press too tightly on both side of my head but still provide enough holding force allowing me to shake my head without having the headset falling. The ear cup and headband has just enough foam padding making it look very sexy. The headset is also not heavy so I can wear it whole day without getting tired. The sound quality is exceptional. It uses 50mm drivers that provide rich, detailed audio with accurate mid and high. The bass is strong and punchy without overwhelming mid-range sounds. The headset also comes with Dolby Atmos support, it provides impressive spatial awareness audio. The mic is omni directional one, it produces clear voice pickup. Seems to have noise-cancellation that eliminate background noise. You can also mute the mic by flipping it up. The headset support both 2.4GHz usb dongle and Bluetooth. When using the usb dongle, the wireless connection remains stable even when I am more than 50 feet away and on different floor of my house. I also don't notice any lag; it is indeed very low latency. Battery life is another standout feature, the box says 65 hours but it has been 6 days and it still have 62% battery power. Charging is using usb-c port which is another plus. All the controls are on the left side, the headset has one power button and one programmable button and a rocker volume dial. I like the rocker type volume control very much. The two buttons have different textures, this helps me when trying to press the button while wearing the headset. Out of the box, you use the power button to switch between Bluetooth and USB. The other button pauses music or movie. At the bottom of the left cup is a LED indicator, it is flashing magenta when playing music using Bluetooth, flashing blue means Bluetooth connection is active but no audio present. When it is flashing red, it means it is looking for the usb dongle, once found it turns green. One thing I don't like is that it does not come with user manual, the box has a QR code you have to scan to get the manual. Also, in order to use all available features, you have to install the iCUE app.

As with anything that has rechargeable batteries, it is subjective to use. Like these, if you have the LED lights on, using the 2.4Ghz and high volume, it won’t last as long. But, on Bluetooth, without the LED you could get 130 hours of usage. This is days worth of use without ever needing a charge. Even on 2.4Ghz you are looking at about 70 hours. With that, you can use a fast charger and in a few minutes have a couple more hours worth of audio. The headset is pretty light and simple. You have 2 buttons and a volume rocker that can also be pressed for programmed functions. Microphone can be muted with the flip of the mic or programmed on the press of the rocker button through the iCUE software. You can program some other settings through the iCUE software, like the lighting patterns and the EQ but you can’t change the functions of the multi-function button, which will play/pause or change tracks of an audio player if supported and answer/end calls on phones. Despite the headset feeling fairly light, I personally do not like the feel of the fabric they used on the earcups. They are pretty stiff so it keeps the headset from pushing on your ears, but the fabric is rough. It feels a bit softer than a burlap sack but nothing like the micro-fiber used on so many other headsets. The range of these are hit or miss. If you don’t have a clear line of sight between the 2.4Ghz dongle or the Bluetooth device, it will disconnect often. My computer is a few feet away from me, but if the dongle is on the top of the PC, making it behind the monitor, it becomes practically useless. But, if it is on the side where I can see the dongle, it works fine. Audio quality is mid. If you enable Dolby Atmos or Windows Sonic you can’t use any of the EQ functions in the iCUE software and for some reason, these headphones lose all bass if it isn’t modified with the EQ. I often use a different brand of headphones with Dolby Atmos and the audio quality always felt really defined and the bass was deep. However, these just feel like they amplify the mids and highs when in either of the other modes. However, without them, you can make it sound better, you just don’t get that spatial audio effect that Dolby Atmos provides. Overall, they aren’t too bad if you are using them with a PC and use the iCUE software to modify the sound. They clearly intend for these to be for streamers with the LED lights that serve no other purpose other than drain the battery. But, as a gamer that doesn’t stream often, I prefer my other headset that just sounds and feels better than these.

I recently purchased the Corsair Void V2 headset, and I couldn't be more impressed! Right out of the box, it's clear that comfort was a top priority in its design. The plush ear cups and adjustable headband make it feel light and cozy, even during extended gaming sessions. The sound quality is exceptional—crystal clear audio with rich, immersive tones that truly enhance both gaming and music experiences. Whether I'm deep in a game or listening to my favorite playlist, the audio performance is consistently outstanding. Another standout feature is the battery life. It holds a charge remarkably well, allowing me to enjoy hours of uninterrupted use without constantly worrying about recharging. This reliability adds a whole new level of convenience. Overall, the Corsair Void V2 is a fantastic headset that excels in comfort, sound quality, and battery life. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier audio experience!

Sound quality is fantastic and as long as you take the time to slight stretch the headset out it's very comfortable as well. I'll admit it was a bit tight for me out of the box but with some days of use and tension it's easily my favorite wireless headset. My gaming buddies are telling me the mic quality is good as well which is huge for me since I tend to record my audio and I want it to be crisp. Worth the money for sure.

I tried these headphones for a week. The sound quality is quite good, but they fit oddly depending on your head shape and size. They’re not very comfortable, and I’m not sure if it was a user error or not. They made everything too loud, even with the volume on my PC. Overall, they’re not terrible, but for the price, you’d probably be better off spending the $20-$30 more for the Steel series Arctis Nova 7 when they’re on sale, which happens quite frequently.

Solid for the price, but there’s better.

Good functionality. Love the Bluetooth support and mic. The sound is pretty lacking. Leans a bit much on the low end and doesn’t sound that great. And the fit for big heads is pretty tight. I find the pressure uncomfortable.
