My son asked for this for his birthday and I got it. Every since his birthday party he has not stop playing it said it was the greatest game ever.

Amazing audio and visuals. Runs amazing on my dts 7.1 sound and 1080p/24hz TV. Story is not amazing but will keep you interested if you enjoy game lore. Gameplay is very responsive respectable to most common day shooters with emphasis on over the top boss battles that keep you wanting more. Rpg elements are subtle but give the user a decent sense of variety, using only a handful of elements as opposed to the massive amount in games like Diablo 3, or borderlands 2. Menu management was done beautifuly, possibly the best I've ever seen. Solo play is fun, but this game truly shines in multiplayer. My only problem with the game is a lack of an in depth tutorial and and guidance system in the main hub area (called the Tower) which seems randomly placed 20th unnecessary travel time to NPCs. I Highly recommend this game for any shooter or shooter rpg hybrid fan.

Rich worlds. Difficulty is challenging but not super difficult. Good controls. Wish there was a manual to explain all the aspects of the game.

I think the overall game play is great. Like the upgradeable suits and weapons. The only issue I found with the ps3 version is whatever compression was used to make it a ps3 game vs. Ps4 or xb1 is not quite as sharp graphics. And I have a 240hz refresh rate on my tv. Otherwise very fun, and actually difficult.

I purchased this game for my son for Christmas. I was very impressed by the graphics and game play as was he.

Fun game. Lots to do but levels can be a bit confusing. You can still go back and play levels with new stuff.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew. He was very excited and asked for this game specifically.

This is one of the best shooters I've played in a long time. It's a great MMO to play with friends and Raids can take hours to complete!

Amazing game/concept, but it gets repetitive quickly, too bad we have to rely on DLCs to keep it going.

This took like an hour to load. My son loves it but takes too long to load every time he gets on.

This is a wonderful game. The shooting mechanisms are realistic. The NPC's duck, dodge and dart for cover. Graphics are good even on my PS3 (heard that the HD on PS4 is awesome lol). Multiplayer system works easily. Only draw back is that the story line missions get rather repetitive.

This game has a lot to offer for everybody. While the initial story is short the expansions will give us more story play as we continue to save the world and push back the darkness. The multiplayer is exciting and challenging, reminiscing of Halo as you run around to annihilate the other guardians is exciting. In terms of expressing group play comes strikes...having people you trust is a must for higher level strikes and raids. For thoses that like rare stuff, you can grind and get legendary and exotic pieces for your guardians. The game allows you to make up to three guardians so you can have one of each class. Each guardian has a sub class and allows you to further customize your guardian to fit your playing style. The only set backs from the game I have experienced is disconnecting from server (which is the real only issue) and stuck up high level players that refuse to play with lower level players (they won't be saving the galaxy anytime soon acting that way) other than that the game needs a looking for group channel (having mics that can talk to the general public could have major set backs as some people have really foul mouths and are just plain ignorant).

I am level 10 currently and playing on the moon, so there is alot i haven't seen. I just wanted to put my thoughts out there. This is a really good game, although i dont think it quite lives up the hype it generated pre-release. It is a fantastic shooter with alot of great aspects that you have come to love out of Bungie. It does feel like you are doing the same thing over and over but you are at least having fun doing it. The AI is smart and will avoid combat and grenades if they can so that is a plus. Since this was being touted as a fun mix of Mass Effect and Halo, it definitely needs alot more Mass Effect. The story is just to linear and the exploration is almost nonexistant. I would definitely recommend this game. I hope the MMO aspect ramps up later on.

First off, I'm not generally a huge fan of first person shooters ... That being said, I love this game! It is visually pleasing, grand in scope and seems to have enough replayability that I don't mind paying full price for it. Also there are several assist apps that you can put on your phone or tablet that actually compliment the game quite nicely! Well done!

While I made this purchase with a open mind, I can't deny the commercials and overall hype behind the game didn't influence me a little. My first observation was that the game play is really smooth, and it played a lot like Halo with a call of duty influence. I expected a lot more in the graphics department, but was let down there. I played the game and had some issues with the multi-player modes, "no one really wanted to cooperate"! So I ended up just roaming and leveling up, and that's when it hit me. This game is really repetitive, due in large part to just how similar the scenes/worlds are. After about day two I stopped playing all together, but might pick it up and give it another try in the future.
