I am a two finger, slow typist. Once I got the software trained it has saved me an enormous amount of time. I have always dictated so now I just talk and the words appear as I talk. There are some errors I have to clean up but it is so much faster than typing. I should have gotten this a long time ago.

Purchased for my son, who has dyslexia, to use for homework. It has taken a little bit for him to get the hang of it, but now is starting to be able to use it with ease. Very accurate for speech to text applications.

This a great program and it's extremeley useful. it does more than just take dictation. You can open windows, search the wec and it works great for outlook. My only complaint is that the premium edition does not add many features for twice the price.

would definitely buy this again. It is used to write reports and school papers. Much quicker and easier than typing.

I used Dragon when I worked for a large company, and absolutely loved it, especially for short memos. I would be on the phone a lot and take notes. Afterwards I would transcribe the notes through Dragon. It saved a lot of time and I did not have to use the keyboard all the time. I have been self-employed for over 2 years now, and my wife got me Dragon for a Christmas present. I was surprised, but thrilled. As mentioned above, it is easy to learn. It is also beneficial to do a lot of voice training on the computer, and go back and retrain occasionally.

Updated version now operates on windows 8 and 8.1 gives you hands free control of many of your computer functions. I am still learning all the new features. Easy to install and operate.

I debated buying Dragon Naturally Speaking 12, and now I wish I bought it sooner. I'm currently working on my masters in marriage and family therapy, and I saw huge results with the first paper I wrote. The ideas were able to just flow out of my head, and I didn't have to concentrate on typing or or keep stopping to make sure I typed the sentences correctly. I have always struggled when trying to put the words in my head to paper (or on the computer), but with Dragon my ideas flow easily and naturally. It has been a time saver, as well as a stress reducer. A huge thank you to the creator(s) of the Dragon programs!

I wasn't sure about the premium version compared to the home version but since I am using this for work I decided to buy the correct version. The included mic is cheap but super light and convenient and works great. I hope to use the feature that allows me to use a dragon approved voice recorder and convert the audio files to text!

Overall I think this is a good thing for productive activity particularly if you have poor typing skills. This software is definitely increase my productivity.

It makes doing my job so much easier. Its easy and fun. It does so much.great gift idea for someone who has a lot of computer work

THIS IS GREAT FOR A CHILD LEARNING HOW SPELL AND WRITE. BUT THEY SHOULD ALSO LEARN HOW DO IT IN LONG HAND . THIS IS ALSO VERY GOOD IN WRITING A BOOK REPORTS ETC.,,,OR SCHOOL WORK...

This is a great software program for the Disabled or anyone that has trouble typing...I started using Dragon Speak in 2001 & finally had to upgrade from my very old version 6 due to new Windows upgrade issues & a new Laptop...Windows 7 & 8 do not like or play well with the old & outdated Dragon Speak version 6 but both seem to LOVE & play well with the new & shiny Dragon Naturally Speaking 12...

It has lots of help features on a right screen bar, using Word for writing school papers so much quicker being typed. Besides dictation, you can say new line or new paragraph and it does that. Saying "scratch that" clears the last command or dictation. I have already reccomended this product to fellow students and professors. Comes with comfartable headset and microphone.

Bought this product to dictate documents for a major project at work. Like anything else that is new there is a learning curve to get around. Once you have practiced a bit you will wonder why you didn't buy this great software earlier. It is an excellent product. Already sold two friends on it.

The use of Dragon enhances my ability to get it right

I use it for college, and I do not know how I got by before now. I can dictate so much more faster than I could ever dream of typing.

It is not connecting to my Word or Word Perfect word processing programs. This is also true of my e-mail. When it does it is great.

I should have bought this program years ago. It has made writing memos and reports simple. Talk and it does the typing, no more hunt and peck and thinking too fast or typing too slow. Now I start talking, even when I am doing the first draft. It controls my computer also. The program is great!

Really love it. I would recommend to anyone that doesn't type very fast.

I recently lost the use of one of my hands, but I still have to type on the computer. Dragon was the easiest program to install and begin use immediately.I would recommend this program for anyone that is not an advanced typist. It has allowed me to come quicker with putting information into my programs as well as typing up emails and other software.
