It is simply the best robot vacuum. Doesn’t run into stuff and it is pretty quiet. Super easy to clean and maintain. One note, don’t buy bags and brushes on Amazon, they are fake and don’t work properly. The app makes it super easy to keep up with maintenance and cleaning and even shows when parts are nearing the end of their usable life. I would highly recommend!

Excelente robot Vac. Bought this vac not knowing too much about this brand but I highly recommend it. The Moo works nice. It could be better but it will save a lot of time from keeping it clean.

So i read all these positive reviews and had to have it! I am beyond disappointed, it gets stuck on my low pile runners, wont even attempt to go on my high pile bedroom rugs and as if that wasnt bad enough it gets to the dock, starts the climb up the ramp then for some inknown reason starts to turn right or left. Drives right off the dock! I thought well maybe ill help it get better traction so i added silicone rubber stair traction tape. That wasnt it, still does the same thing! The maps are not even remotely the shape of my rooms either! Im taking it back and ill find one that doesnt have to climb a mountain to dock!

SHORT OVERALL REVIEW: After extensively using the Ecovax DEEBOT N10 MAX+ for over a week, I can honestly state this unit not only meets, but surpasses all of my expectations. I currently use daily on two floors with vacuuming the 2nd floor (carpets), while utilizing both vacuuming and mopping on our first floors (hardwoods and tile). I did initially struggle with the proper sequences for correctly mapping out two floors, but intuitively figured it out (read the instructions). Once correctly mapped for dual floors, using this self cleaning robot-vacuum is pretty simple utilizing its associated phone/tablet application. 5-Stars here and highly recommended!
LONG COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW:
UNBOXING: The Ecovax was delivered (doubled boxed) with all internal boxing being well designed supporting all required components from possible shipping damage. Unboxing and assembling is very easy (at least for me) with instructions strategically placed on what and where to remove the protective tape & spacers, and where to install each component.
INITIAL SET-UP & APP: After assembling, it does not have sufficient battery charge to begin mapping. So the next step is to refer to the blue insert for downloading the application and following the application setup instructions. I initially used our Apple based tablet only for the increase size to read and preform the required logins, updates, charging, etc. But after I was able to correctly map out two floors, and became familiar with all of the applications menus and functions, I then downloaded to my Android based phone that is much smaller. Either application platform looks and functions the same. And using my phone the app allows me to monitor its progress while I am not at home.
TIDY UP: OK, this is where you need to move obstacles out of the pathway of the vacuum. Example: Toys, chairs, light or other power adapter wiring, small rugs, shoes, etc. Regarding, moving chairs, for the initial mapping, I did move our dining and kitchen chairs “restaurant style” placing upside down resting on their tables. But now when I just vacuum the first floor, I push the chairs under the table and it does a pretty good job of working its way around them. Only when I vacuum with mopping will I set the chairs upside down on the tables.
MAPPING 1ST FLOOR: For the initial vacuuming and mapping (not mopping), where you are able to save the map, you must run the unit from its base, and you must let it complete the mapping of all rooms. After it completes its mapping and returns successfully to its base, you will be able to save the floor map. Then you are then able to edit the map. By editing I mean being able to setup the “Cleaning Sequence” where you are able to change the room cleaning sequence the Deebot will execute if you choose to so. More importantly, you can also block out areas (set Virtual Boundaries). Example: After the initial mapping, where the unit got stuck under the back of our dry-sink, and when it tried to eat a lamp cord under our couch, (both requiring retrievals and repositioning) I then set Virtual Boundaries telling the unit to not got there with future cleaning. Note that during the initial mapping, you do need to monitor its mapping progress rectifying any issue, hanging up, or problem stopping.
MAPPING A 2ND FLOOR: The key take away here is you must move both the base unit with the vacuum to the second floor. Again tidy up first, let it recognize its in a new area, and let it complete its floor mapping. After mapping and it finds its way back to the base unit, you will then be allowed to save the new second map. Once save, you can the edit the new map for “Cleaning Sequence” and/or “Virtual Boundaries”
MOVING BETWEEN TWO FLOORS: Once two floors are correctly mapped, I then relocated both the base unit along with the vacuum, between the two mapped floor locations. I don’t know if it is necessary, but I set both the base and vacuum where they were when it created its other floor map. Once stated with the application “Enter Smart Cleaning” option, you do not choose which floor, the vacuum will correctly determine which floor it is on and begin cleaning accordingly. After I was convinced it preformed correctly on both floors, I tried just leaving the base unit on our 2nd floor, then moving just the vacuum to our 1st floor to begin cleaning. I’m impressed, it correctly determined it was on a different floor and chosed the correct saved map sequences. And I appreciate not needing to lug the base unit between floors, but you do need to stop it when it completes it cleaning to manually move it back to the other floor onto its base for recharging and to empty the dust bin. Note that I am considering purchasing a second base unit if that option is available and cost effective.
OZMO MOPPING SYSTEM: Adding water to the water reservoir tank and attaching the mop base plate with its mopping pad is fairly simple and intuitive. The unit will recognize the mopping plate is attached and will mop along with vacuuming. (It will not run the mop on rugs while mopping.) You can adjust the water flow depending on your flooring and/or individual requirements with the application. (I suggest you pre-wet the moping pad prior to attaching it to its base plate.) Once mopping is completed, I remove the plate and wash the mopping pad.
MAINTENANCE: This model will self clean the vacuum’s removable dust bin, and you can select through the app how often to empty the dust bin. I initially turned this off because I wanted to see how much material the vacuum picked up. (Actually a lot more than I anticipated.) And it is not a difficult process to manually clean the vacuum’s dust bin. The app will provide visual instructions on each of the maintenance cleaning steps required and how often to preform each. I also like to check to see if it sucked up something I wanted to keep (example: a small Lego block on the initial cleaning). But I now just let the base unit do its thing with self emptying the vacuum’s dust bin.
APPLICATION: Using this robot vacuum with its highly tuned application is a perfect marriage. I could not fathom referring to a manual to setup and use. The app has numerous features that I discovered and now use. And it appears to teach you new options as you progress learning a previous feature. Plus the ability to alert me with messages for obstructions, cleaning parts, recharging status, and showing the actual path map of the vacuum is a welcomed addition to the overall cleaning experience.
BOTTOM LINE: I would highly recommend this Ecovax DEEBOT N10 MAX+ robot-vacuum. Once setup and configured correctly, it has made our lives much easier, not to mention cleaner too. The learning curve is fairly easy for those who are tech-savvy, but may be too much for those who in general struggle with technology. (My wife would not be able to setup and use, then again she struggles with a laptop basic “cut & paste” concept.) Now if it could just go up/down steps…

I hesitated to spend this much on one of these as I have bought a couple under $200 that held up well for about 2 years each but I really wanted the mop feature. I have two very shedding dogs and a very shedding cat and I constantly, almost daily had to clean the brush on the others. I am going on almost 2 months with this one and have not had to clean the brush yet! I absolutely love this thing and highly recommend!

I'll start by saying, this changed my life. Despite what the title says, it's an amazing product! I went into this thinking I just cured my need to sweep/mop my house ever again and became a man with two less chores in my life. Unfortunately, this was NOT the case, and I don't believe this was designed to do that to begin with, just a silly dude thinking he just saved time. Instead, I think it's supposed to minimize or help maintain your house with assisted cleanings on a regular basis.
To start the ECOVACS DEEBOT N10 MAX+ is a robot vacuum and mop that will make your life easier, but it's not gonna carry the burden of your chore, but it has a variety of features that make it a great choice for a busy family or human however, this includes:
Powerful suction
Mopping capabilities
Intelligent navigation
Long battery life
Easy to use
The little robot has a powerful suction motor that can remove dirt, dust, dog hair, and debris from your floors, but it WILL get tangled with hair. My wife's hair is a vacuum's worse nightmare. Due to the smaller size, it's kind of a bigger deal to remove the hair than say a full-size vacuum. So just remember to clean off the hair more frequently than you would a standard full-size vacuum. It also has a mopping attachment that can be used to clean your floors with water and detergent. The robot has an intelligent navigation system that allows it to map your home and create a cleaning path. This means that it can clean your entire home without getting lost or bumping into furniture.
One thing that surprised me is its long battery life. For my 1000 sq foot main floor, it can do two passes and only use about 20% battery. It can easily run once a day and not have to worry about it running out of power.
The robot vacuum is also easy to use. You can control it with the ECOVACS HOME app, not directly, but you can start and stop and have it return home. You can also control the level of vacuum power and the level of water for mopping. You can even view the map of your home and you can get notifications on your robot.
I don't have much experience with these vacuums, but I was surprised how quiet it was. It isn't whisper quiet, but definitely the quietest vacuum I've used.
What I Didn't Like
With the mopping attachment, it gets stuck more frequently. Without it I only recall a single "I need help I'm stuck" plea from the robot. With the mopping attachment, for me this became an annoyance more than a convenience. If you have a rug and it happens to lift a corner, then the robot will wedge itself while it's trying to back up. I also didn't like how staticky the front of the vacuum got. For me my dog sheds a lot, it seemed like all the hair got stuck in front of the robot. It was like static charge or something.
Overall - I love this thing, it's so great. It navigates our house like a champion in most situations, and it lessens the load on us humans to keep the house clean.
Highly recommended

I have been using this robot vacuum/mopper for about 3 days now and I really like it. The robot is setup on the main floor of our condo and vacuums two bedrooms (carpet) and vaccums/mops the kitchen, family room and bathrooms (wood floors and LVT).
First, setup was fairly straight-forward, though I did have a challenge getting it connected via the app/wireless at the beginning. Not a big deal, but probably took about 15 minutes and multiple tries to get it setup. I'm comfortable with technology so it was just a nuisance and hasn't been a recurring issue.
Another area that isn't as easy as it should be is the app. As soon as I got it connected, there is a button to start the robot to allow it to map the house. That part went well and it was easy to start, stop, and return the robot home from the main page. What I couldn't find easily was setting up a schedule. It really should have been somewhere linked from the first page...instead, you click run, click the 3 dots at the top right, and select scheduling. I still have to search through the screens a couple times to remember where that is located.
Next, this does both mopping and vacuuming so you want to make sure you aren't spraying water on your carpets or rugs. That's easy to setup in the map area of the app. You can select areas you don't want the robot to go when you are mopping by blocking that area off. You can also block off areas that you don't want it to go when vacuuming. I really like this feature since I can't count the number of times my old robot would get stuck under a piece of furniture, behind the sofa or get stuck on a thick rug. The map is my favorite feature in the app since you can see exactly where the robot cleaned and how many square feet it cleaned.
When mopping, you just add water to the reservoir and send it on it's way. There are settings in the app to say how much water or suction to use, but I just kept the default settings for now and it worked perfectly.
The one other challenge that I had was determining how to change it from mopping to vacuuming. I had trouble trying to figure out how to get it out of mopping mode. You have to remove the mop pad in order switch to vacuum mode. As a result, you can't do both mopping and vacuuming without someone being there to switch back and forth. Not a big deal if you are home, but can't setup schedules to do both without someone making that switch on the robot.
At the end of a run, it auto empties the robot. You still need to empty the reservoir after mopping and clean the dust bin on the robot from time to time, but having it auto-empty into the base takes away most of the cleanup.
Overall, despite a few minor issues, I really like this robot. The option of mopping and vacuuming is a big plus as well. I would recommend this one for doing both.

This Ecovacs Deebot Robot Vacuum is amazing. It came very well packaged to prevent any damage in shipping. There was very little assembly needed and the instruction card was very easy to follow. The phone app is easy to use and it's great to be able to start the Deebot with just a touch of the button. The floor plan during the mapping of the house is shown on the app. The vacuum finds its way back to the charging station on its own. The amazing part of the process is that it navigates over and cleans my rugs, which have various heights. It has not gotten stuck on anything yet and does not eat any cords or shoelaces. It did eat a long twist-tie that was left on the floor - but the app told me there was something on the main brush so I just had to easily remove it, and it proceeded to finish cleaning. It is very quiet also - in fact you can't even hear it when it's in some of the rooms. It's also very efficient - picking up all the debris (I checked carefully the first time I used it). One of the best features of the Deebot is the self emptying - it will dock itself and empty the contents into the canister on the charging station. You can also mop your floors with the washable mopping pad. This vacuum has definitely saved me time and has extremely good suction and mapping.

My wife and I decided to add a robot vacuum to our home so that we could avoid the dreaded weekend cleanup process. So far, this has been a very impressive robot vacuum exceeding our expectations greatly.
The first thing I noticed is just how high quality the product seems to be from top to bottom. If you’ve ever owned a Dyson product, it has that same level of quality construction, packing, aesthetics, etc. I was impressed from the moment I opened the box.
It takes almost no effort to setup once you’ve gotten everything out of the box. The app is one of the best apps for any product I’ve ever had and makes getting straight to using your vacuum very easy.
Enough of that; it’s a vacuum so the real question is, is it any good? Yes. It’s very good. The first time out it starting creating a map of our home layout and I was very impressed at just how good it was at getting every space, including under furniture, tight corners, etc. It didn’t have any trouble transitioning from hardwood, carpet, tile, thresholds, etc. and cleaned up very well. It’s done such a good job that I’ve had to empty it mid-cleaning some times because it’s getting places we don’t typically get with a traditional vacuum. Otherwise, It can empty itself at the dock into an integrated bag.
The ONLY two things that I’ve noticed that could be a knock on it is that it hasn’t always found its way back to its home dock. I haven’t been able to understand why just yet, it may just need more time to adjust to how far it can go on a charge and hasn’t quite gotten that down yet. Also, the mopping integration is nice but it’s a bit tricky to implement. I tried it in our kitchen since we have tile but we have a pretty unique layout so drawing boundaries for it to stick in has proved a bit difficult.
Other than that, this thing is AMAZING. Our floors are noticeably cleaner after a few days of having it do a regular sweep of the house. AWESOME!

I’ve owned three different brands of robot vacuums over the years, and this Ecovacs vacuum is by far best all around I found in the mid range price so far. The best things about this vacuum are the app, accuracy at detecting boundaries and doc station, charge station/vacuum and mopping feature. The less impressive of these is the mopping feature.
The App: it is easy to set up, follow the prompts and instructions in the attached insert and installation is a breeze. You can see the status of the charge, messages on issues and can start/stop even when away from home. The app shows the location and movements in the house and creates a map of the rooms which is very accurate.
The vacuum is very efficient and has a better cleaning pattern than the other robot vacuums we have. One of the best things is that the battery lasts long and the ability of the vacuum return to charge once the cleaning is complete. While the mopping feature is nice, it doesn’t do as perfect job as the vacuum does. But still is worth the investment.

Robot vacuums used to be one of those gadgets in a home that many would laugh at. "Do you really need that?" "Seems like a waste of money," or "Isn't it very loud?" That was back in the early 2000s. Flash forward to 2023. I'd know more people with one than without. Since having my first one back in 2008 or so, I've had a lot of different models from many other companies. I've had Roomba, Roborock, Samsung, and now EVOVACS.
The price differences I've seen throughout the years of owning them are incredible. Just today, when I looked up newer models of my previous central vacuum, I saw one for $1500. That one had an auto-empty and an automap just like this one does (on sale for $429.99 as of 5/3/23) for only $649.99. That's a considerable price difference.
I don't know how the $1500 vac justifies its price, but the EVOVACS DEEBOT N10 Max+ is a great vacuum and has been a major upgrade to my Roborock S6. With my previous vac, I had to empty it manually and set up the mopping feature each time after mapping a custom map to get around my rugs. It made the mopping feature a chore. And emptying it every time made me not use the scheduling feature because I didn't want it to run with a full bin if I forgot to open it. The EVOVACS auto-empties each entire run, which is fantastic! It will be great to set up a schedule for it to run every other day. I'll get a notification when the bin is full.
The most exciting feature I wanted to try as soon as I unboxed it and set it up was the mopping feature. It claims to be able to switch from active mopping on the hardwood (or floors) to vacuuming on carpets or rugs. This was true when I tested it. Not only does it do an outstanding job mopping with just plain water, but it also switches to vacuum when going over carpets or rugs without getting those wet. This feature is a game changer at my house.
Speaking of setting it up, that was easy too. I say instead because the vacuum wouldn't add to the app after downloading it. It turned out it was having issues with my wifi (maybe because I use WIFI6?). After trying to connect a second time, it did connect, so it wasn't a big deal. After connecting to the app, you can dive deep into the settings and customize your vac. For example, you can change the speed/suction of the vacuum or the amount of water used when mopping - to name a few options. However, I found one oddity: when choosing the timezone in the app set-up, there were options other than USA Pacific Time. It's no big deal, but still strange. It's something that can be added once they realize it.
So far, after four days of use, this is our new main vacuum. The old one is going upstairs. With a new puppy bringing in dirt, mud, and hair throughout the family room, this vacuum will have its work cut out. And so far, it's answering the call. The mopping feature is an absolute must-have.
Save yourself from spending a large amount of money on a name brand. EVOVACS is excellent and is becoming a real force in this product space. Roomba and Roborock no longer dominate it.

what an upgrade from my ancient Roomba 530

This is my experience in using this robotic vacuum/mopping floor cleaner. BestBuy supplied the machine to me for free to try and write my opinion of the device. #TechInsiderNetwork
my last robotic vacuum cleaner was a Roomba 530; must be 15, perhaps 20 years old. That it still works, and fulfills it duties, is a tribute to iRobot and their commitment to making such a sturdy and user repairable machine.
The Ecovacs in comparison to the vintage iRobot is like a different incarnation. My original Roomba was somewhat of a miracle when I bought it, converting a dog fur laden household that had dust bunnies, no dust badgers, in every corner into a house that was relatively hair free
With a daily programmed running of the Roomba at 1:00 PM. When I got home, I would empty the Roomba, after scouting around and finally locating where it had managed to get itself stranded/ tangled/wedged in/ or just depleted its battery because it lost its beacon of infrared to guide it back home for recharge. The daily emptying of the dust bin was just a given; there was so much shed dog hair that letting it go for 2 or 3 days was not an option.
My other observation was the damage that the Roomba could inflict. All the fringe on the ends of the oriental rugs had been decimated down to a 3 mm length by the vigorous entanglement of the Roomba rotating brush. And the Roomba knew when to change course because it would crash into the chair leg, cabinet drawer face, or similar at a high speed. And the furniture had the scars to prove the force the Roomba could inflict.
Watching the Deebot make its rounds looks more like a ballerina than a contestant in American Ninja. The robot is exceedingly quiet, and moves stealthily across the floor; deliberate, and not at a high speed. As it starts to approach an object in the way, it slows a bit, and then at the last second, makes its turn with barely even touching the obstacle or even without actual contact.
So the $25,000 custom kitchen cabinet fronts are not scarred and dented and scratched by the mayhem of a vengeful Roomba. And I do not need to put up battery operated pylons to keep the robot from venturing into forbidden rooms.
The Deebot uses Lidar mapping of the room which programs the ability to exclude areas from the random wanderings of the robot.
Compared to my experience with a now ancient Roomba, the Deebot is a nimble rather than a rambling bull. The Deebot does not crash into things, but gently touches the furniture/cabinet/wall and politely turns in a new direction. The Lidar mapping seems to be spot on, and the phone app draws out the map for your review.
The self emptying tower is a bit of an eyesore, but no robotic vacuum is a decorator’s dream. For optimum function, the recharging station previously needed to be within “eyeshot” so the infrared would not get out of view for finding its way back to the charger. The Lidar mapping and memorized recall, I am assuming, will provide guidance for the robot to return for a needed docking, even if around 2 or 3 corners from a direct view of the tower.
The mopping option, triggered by having the reusable terry cloth cover over a plastic plate that attaches underneath, is elegant as well. The robot will come to the edge of carpet or a rug, and will intrude about 2 cm onto the rug surface, and after “sniffing” the difference from the hardwood floor, will turn away from the rug, and return to the mopping chore. So no accidental washing of the carpet!
The water reservoir easily attaches and refills. And the mopping terry cloth cover is simple to remove, cleans up with a quick wash with a bit of dish soap and rinse, and dries quickly for the next mopping excursion. The mopping is not a deep cleaning, such as sticky spills or the like, but consider it a damp dusting of areas of water spots and the like. A wonderful touch up after a regular vacuuming.
The self emptying function is a major convenience over daily emptying of the dust bin. I have had the vacuum for about 2 weeks: three vacuum runs and one mopping session. So I have not filled the dust bag in the tower yet, and therefore cannot comment on the tidiness or ease of emptying. It seems quite accessible, and the emptying and replacement of the paper bag seems like it will be simple.
Choosing which model of Ecovacs to purchase would be a bit of a challenge. This model, more on the entry level than top of the line, seems so elegant and well engineered that I cannot imagine that the upper levels can be that much superior.
I would recommend this to a friend

Absolutely love the N10+ Max robovac. It replaced my previous robovac which was a smart robot vacuum like this one, but this one is definitely an improvement. First off the design of the vacuum itself is great. The dust bin canister is in a great location and it's easy to remove and clean it. The water tray for if you want to use the mopping feature is also in a great place. The vacuum looks good and isn't an eye sore when it's in its charging base which is a plus. The design of the charging base and automatic dust bin collector is also great. I love that it has a full plate that the vacuum rolls up onto. I was able to place this one in a much less conspicuous place than my old vacuum.
Functionality is unbelievable! First off, this not only vacuums and can do so at one of 4 total speed/suction levels, but it also has a mopping feature which you can use sometimes, all the time, or not at all. I mainly use it for vacuuming and only occasionally will use it for mopping. The spinning suction roller as well as the two spinning "arms" that push stuff towards the suction opening do a great job of getting all the dust and dirt and crumbs off the floor. Additionally, the intelligent programming on this thing is awesome! On the first run it goes all over your house and basically creates a map of the entire floor plan. You can then name the different rooms; you can decide what order it should clean the rooms in; you can have it clean a specific room if you want; and you can have it run on a regular schedule. You can also create invisible borders so, for example, you can put a border over the doorway to a specific room (like a kids room where there may often be toys, clothes, and other things that would impede the vacuum) and it won't cross that border or go into that room even if the door is open.
The app is overall easy to use, though sometimes, it can be a bit confusing or take a little time to figure out exactly where a certain feature is or how to change a specific setting. Anyone who is tech savvy shouldn't have a problem, but those who aren't may find it a little harder to program and set up. I also love that it was easy to connect the vacuum to my Alexa voice assistant and I can now just tell Alexa to start the Robovac and off it goes to clean. The vacuum also has great voice prompts to let you know what's going on - starting to clean, emptying dust bin, charging, etc.
The vacuum does a great job of cleaning the entire area, even navigating around the dining room table and chair legs. It has no issue detecting the stairs in one area and not falling down them. It does a better job than my old vacuum of not ramming into stuff, but detecting it and cleaning next to it without hitting it. The automatic dust collector is great to keep the vacuum running without having to empty the dust bin myself every day or so.
I've been using robot vacuum cleaners for about 10 years now and this Ecovacs Deebot N10+ is by far the most advanced and best one I have ever used. I am absolutely loving it!
