    A Musical Subwoofer

I used this for music only , have not tried for movies. Following the recommendation from The Next Best thing studio and PS Audio to add a subwoofer to stereo listening, I gave it a try. I was already contented with my pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers, adding this greatly enhanced the bass. Bass goes down deeper and fuller. The sub disappears physically, the added lows seems to come from the 2 bookshelf speakers. Listening to Diana Krall and Norah Jones would never be the same. It's more livelier than without the subwoofer.

After my 1998/nearly 25 years old-Velodyne quit unexpectedly. I didn't really have a subwoofer in the budget, and just wanted to fill the void left in my 11 channel Atmos theatre. Still expecting terribly untuned bass, and assuming I'd be adjusting the gain control way down just to hold me over, purchased a pair of these, despite all of the positive reviews. I can now add my name to the list of those who left positive endorsements. My pair of 8" woofers properly configured (LFE) do not disappoint. To Anyone shopping in the under $800 Single woofer price point, do not hesitate. PURCHASE A PAIR of these "Little Monsters" and still come in way under budget and overly impressed.

More than happy with the quality of this subwoofer. It does exactly what I was looking for and delivers a rich deep bass, plus you can control and adjust power and the frequency. Very compact and high class materials. Not an ammount of power to tear down the house, but enough to rattle the windows and shelfs.

I now have 2 of these to go with my tube amp setups on each of my TV's. They provide ample bass response and make everything sound fuller and richer. Great subwoofer at a great price point.

Great little unit. Took a few days to get the right placement and volume, also added an isolation mat to help avoid disturbing the downstairs neighbors. Once it's set up and properly adjusted, it blends seamlessly with my Klipsch RP600M II speakers and you don't even notice it's there - it just makes everything sound better and fuller. The added low-end bass is just what I needed, without sounding overly boomy It has improved my listening experience.

Sound quality is amazing. The frequency response is great capping at 200hz. Bass sounds great and shakes my whole house. Powerful little guy. Would recommend highly, if you are plugging into a stereo system note that it does not come with a sub in line cable.

I've been a home theater enthusiast for decades, have had 10"-15" powered subs for large rooms and full systems. So when I was looking at this sub to pair with my Edifier bookshelf speakers, Yahmaha budget receiver in my PC set up I was skeptical. But once set up and the volume and crossover were configured I'm in love. This little guy blends right in and fills the room with the perfect amount of bass.

Have had this subwoofer for over 6 mos now. Any new sub has to be tested on the movie U-571. Does the job well for the price. If you can get it on sale, def consider this one. Doesnt rattle tour teeth, but gives a good punch. Dont count this lil guy out

Excellent sound and bass! A very good subwoffer for my home theater system. Sound is solid and amazing how it picks up the movie sound tracks. Also great on picking up cd sound tracks. If you have vhs around it does well on those also. If you have THX sound, it is an amazing movie theater like atmosphere.

I don't know much about audio, but its tempting to turn up the bass when I play videogames. However I had to control myself and lower it a but because this thing has some thump!

For the size of this sub i was afraid i would be experincing alot of distortion and it struggling to keep up with the bass but it did amazing shaking my room and once tuning it, it matched up perfectly with my edifier r1280ts. Strongly recommend for a desktop speaker setup.

Paired these up with the edifier R1280DBs. The sub really gives them a huge punch a little too much maybe but pretty sure I just need to tweak it. Little pricey but it is what it is the quality is amazing.
