I have a sensi 2 thermostat that is compatible with these addtional sensi sensor units. They require 2aaa batteries (included) and have a wall mount kit or stand that you can use with it. Super easy set up, put the batteries in, on you main thermostat go to sensors, add sensor and it will be detected. If it is not, it tells you to push reset on the sensor and re run through the detection on the main unit. 2 of my 3 connected the first time, one of them did not, so i did what it said and connected right up. I have lived in a zone house before, very nice, but I do not have that at my current house. These can act as 3 units to average with the main unit, or as tye single main sensor for the whole heating and cooling system. You can even average 1 or 2 of then to the main thermostat. I put one in each of the 3 readily occupied bedrooms and will have to see in the long run if this evens out the cooler in winter, warmer in summer events that i have had the last 2 years here in the bedrooms, they are near edges of house vs thermostat central. Pending on how these work, I may add one to two in the basement. I believe 15 additinal sensors are able to be added if I recall my research correctly. I have been very impressed so far with the ease of use. I feel this will be a good addtion. If this does have issues later on, Iwill update my comments.

Easy to pair with thermostat. I use it to average the heat from one side of the room to the other. You can also set it to be the main sensor for the thermostat.

I purchased the Sensi thermostat and decided to add 1 sensor to go with it. Glad I did as it has been helpful to see the actual temperatures in other rooms of the house.

This remote sensor is a perfect addition to the new Sensi Touch 2 thermostat. It works great so far, no issues at all. I'm now able to average temperatures across the various rooms and levels of my house, and thus able to better heat or cool as needed.

Nice item. But only works for a specific Sensi thermostat (smart touchscreen only)
