This microwave replaced a 20yr old GE profile microwave that had worked perfectly since new, until it failed and needed replacing. I'm very pleased with the increased functionality of this my microwave, especially with it's even cooking, excellent and rapid defrost feature, and it's air fryer capabilities.

After much ado my purchase is working properly. This is my second one

This multifunction, top of the line Microwave is wonderful. Many great features, including convection cooking and options galore. Very complex, however. There is a dial that you rotate for choosing many functions and setting cook times, etc. There are no numbers to enter. The dial is how you choose details. While the unit I have is still new, it has become evident that the dial, which not only turns but is pushed to execute functions, is going to be a weak spot for future failure. Any moving part is likely to wear down, and the dial gets used a lot! Make sure you have a good extended warranty contract as it appears as though this is a design feature that might easily fail. Make sure you get TotalTech from BestBuy. Otherwise great microwave.

It looks amazing. Matches my other appliances. The under light is bright. It heats up the food very good. I haven’t used the air fryer so I am not able to give a review. The only thing I don’t like is that it gets wet from the smoke when boiling water or frying, even though fan is on. I do like that it has 3 fan settings.

Shows everything! Hard to keep clean! Scratches easily! Using new microfiber towels to help reduce the scratching, still looks bad!

Device is great. Fits perfectly in the spot. Love the functionality. The plastic covering over the buttons is already starting to bubble though.

So far, so good! This GE Profile Series 1.7 Cu. Fts Convection over-the-range Microwave with Sensor Cooking and Chef Connect is fantastic! It's easy to use, easy to set the cook time and the display give useful prompts as you're selecting cook method and time. It has 3 vent fan settings and a Low/High Light setting to illuminate the stovetop. It's also roomier than my previous unit. This unit fit in my space perfectly. Thank you, GE and Best Buy!

This microwave is fantastic! I’ve never had an air fryer before, and it’s wonderful that this microwave includes one. It looks and operates great!

This GE Microwave has an output of 950 watts which is significantly below the 1100 watt general cooking requirements for pre-packaged meals. This requires guessing how much additional microwave time needed to make sure meals are fully cooked to reach internal temperature requirements. Meals are only partially cooked without adding additional time beyond what is recommended on various packages, such as Lean Cuisine. Twisting knob for setting cook time is awkward and sets at 15 second intervals, so cook time is unable to be customized.

The product was purchased to replace a 10 year old system. I do not use it often but I like the fact it takes up a little less space and offers the convection oven option.

The microwave works well although I haveyet tried the air fryer. Our prior GE microwave had an option I liked a lot--- when rhe microwave program finished I could press the large white button to get the microwave to turn on for about another 15 seconds. I miss that option.

I bought my first GE Profile Microwave January 2002, dependable for 23 years. I replaced it for another Profile that includes an air fryer and convection oven. What a deal. I’m am very pleased with this purchase, hoping it will last 20 years or longer. Best Buy is a company I depend on.

The GE Profile above range MW oven was a perfect replacement for our 20 year old GE Advantium MW. Same features plus enhancement features makes it a win!

So far, so far, so good! A bit difficult to figure out how to set the clock!

The overall function of this microwave is excellent. The only problem encountered: the browning rack was defective upon receipt... it only had two legs rather than three.

I am very disappointed with this purchase and have decided to exchange it. The installation and the person installing it was awesome. However, immediately after using a microfiber cloth to wipe it down, the cheap metal used was scratching as I went along. I have opted to exchange it for a stainless steel black. Second, closing the door is extremely noisy. It feels like it is slamming each and every time no matter how gently you try to be.
