Hello to all DIY's Let me tell you, recently I acquired the Greenworks 3000 PSI Electric Pressure Washers and let me say, for my outside cleaning chores, this small green equipment has changed everything.
Allow me to share my experience with this highly explosive device.I had some doubts about electric pressure washers first of all. Can they truly compete with gasoline-powered ones? Well, this Greenworks model sure ran for worth the Price. Comparatively to my old gas guzzler, I was pleasantly pleased by how quiet it was when I first ignited it. Saturday mornings no more waking the neighbors!Let us thus now discuss strength. With 3000 PSI, this bad lad is very remarkable for an electric model. Though I was extra careful with it, I have used it on my dirty driveway, weather-worn deck, and even to give my car a complete clean-up.
Strong enough pressure allowed years of dirt and grime to be blasted away without breaking a sweat. The range of nozzles it came with truly pleased me. You receive a soap nozzle and a turbo nozzle along with 15°, 25°, and 40° tips. Like having a Swiss Army knife for housekeeping! Depending on the work, I discovered I was switching between them, and that made all the difference. Particularly a beast for difficult stains was the turbo nozzle.
Furthermore really clever is the design. In my small garage, this straight-forward storage solution truly saves room. And those hard wheels are a blessing while you are dragging it about the yard.
Oh, the included 25-foot hose and 35 foot power cord allows you ample of reach without requiring ongoing unit movement Using Greenworks washer has been great it works like magic The brushless motor is among the hippest things about it. It apparently features some clever sensors that vary the wattage according on the nozzle you are using. Quite modern for a pressure washer, if you will ask me Naturally,
It is not all sunshine and rainbow. For an electric pressure washer, this device falls on the more expensive side and it weighs around 50lbs. But If you're serious about your cleaning game, I honestly believe the performance and features justify the expense.
Although most domestic chores benefit from it, if you are doing heavy-duty commercial job it may not be the greatest option. For those rather large operations, the flow rate falls short of gas models. All things considered, this Greenworks pressure washer really is very remarkable. It's far more handy than I had anticipated, strong and flexible. This green machine is absolutely worth looking at if you're in the market for a strong electric pressure washer capable of easily handling most home cleaning chores.

Adequate Power; Quiet; No Maintenance

Even though I already own a more powerful gas pressure washer, I really like using this Greenworks 3000 PSI model for several reasons:
- No need to refill the gas, I can wash forever
- No pull cords or trouble starting
- Way quieter than my gas pressure washer
- I can use it to clean inside the garage without worrying about fumes
- Gas can be troublesome to start and require spark plug changes, etc.
It’s perfect for my uses which is primarily to get mold off my house, clean my cars, clean the garage, sidewalk, patio and porch. It does require assembly but does not take longer than 20 minutes and you don’t need anything more than a large Phillips screwdriver.
It comes with all the nozzles I would expect including 15, 25, and 40. The latter two are the ones I use most for car and house cleaning. The 15 is great for getting stains out of concrete. The 0-15 degree turbo nozzle can be used for even tougher stains and of course the 75 degree soap nozzle can be used to apply soap. When you use the soap nozzle the machine knows to siphon soap automatically. Soap application is low-pressure as expected.
The only thing I really miss from this model that my gas one has is a soap tank. You can use soap with this one, but you must put the soap hose into your bottle of soap which makes moving around a bit more difficult and raises the risk of kicking or knocking over your soap.
Pros:
- Quiet
- Maintenance-free
- Built-in Nozzle Storage
- Starts up Immediately with Push of Button
- Extra Long Power Cord
- 25-foot High-pressure Hose
- Includes five nozzles which covers most applications
Cons:
- No soap tank
Overall – if you’re looking for a powerful pressure washer for home use and don’t want to deal with gas you can’t go wrong with this one from Greenworks!

An all-around powerful electric pressure washer

TL;DR | Summary
--------------------
You will find the upright-standing GreenWorks Pro PWA216 Pressure Washer, model GPW3000V, an all-around electric pressure washer and thanks to its 3,000 PSI (i.e., 3,000 pounds of force per square inch), it is suitable for the most common tasks to quickly, forcefully, and effectively clean/wash/remove dirt, mold and other debris from your automobile and outdoor surfaces like driveways, decks, siding, and fences with a choice of five nozzles:
- Yellow - 15-degree tip, narrow fan, provides most pressure, typically used for outdoor surface work items
- Green - 25-degree tip, narrow fan, provides adequate pressure to remove dirt from surfaces
- White - 40-degree tip, wide fan, provides relatively low pressure; ideal for car wash
- Black - Soap spray tip, low pressure to apply soap
- Turbo nozzle tip - rotates in a 0-40 degree spray pattern to break down tough dirt and grime
When compared to gas-powered power washers, the noise level is audibly lower, however, it is still audible enough for your neighbors to recognize when you're operating this pressure washer. However, you will get all the advantages that come with an electric power washer: Effortless, low-noise cleaning, maintenance-free, emission-free, without the fuss of oil and gas.
Assembly
-----------
The unit arrived well-packaged and thanks to a handy Quick Start Guide it was easy to assemble for a novice like me within 30 minutes. The directions were easy to follow and illustrations supported all necessary steps.
Other Thoughts
------------------
The unit is well-built. This pressure washer is overall quiet, has plenty of pressure, is easy to wheel around, and there are nozzle tips provided for various uses and needs. The power cord is 35fr (10.5 meters) of length and includes a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) plug for increased safety (GFCIs protect you from severe electrical shocks). The pressure hose is 25ft (7.5 meters) long. The wheels are so-called never-flat wheels so theses are maintenance-free as well). Using the pressure washer for hours, it has never run hot nor have I experienced any water leakage. There is no lag time when you power on the unit, i.e., you have instant cleaning power with the continuously-run motor (as such, it operates like gas-powered pressure washers).
Verdict
--------
I would highly recommend this electric pressure washer to anyone who is looking for a high-quality made product who want to achieve premium results. Well-deserved 5 stars. I included two before-and-after pictures that show the condition of my heavily molded pavers and what they looked like after I power-washed them using the yellow nozzle (15-degree tip). What a huge difference!

All you need in a home-use pressure washer

The Greenworks Pro Pressure washer comes with a brushless motor (saving you from having to replace those brushes further down the road), a steel frame with never-flat wheels, a 25’ kink resistant steel-braided pressure hose, assorted tips for cleaning of different surfaces, a trigger handle with metal wand, and a 35’ power cord. The power cord has a GFCI wired in.
Assembly
Assembly was easy. I did have to use the included basic directions, but did not have to download the manual from the internet. Total time to assemble was around 20 minutes, and all the pieces and parts that were supposed to be there were.
Tips
The Greenworks pressure washer comes with five different tips, which have different spray angles/uses. There are 15, 25, and 40-degree tips, an additional 15-degree“Turbo” tip that puts out a circular spray motion instead of a cutting edge, and a soap tip for detergent dispersal. The tips are built on quick-connect fittings, allowing for a fast swap out between tips. The soap tip is not intended to have any pressure behind it, instead it is a high volume, low pressure tip that allows you to combine soap (from a detergent tank, not included with the pressure washer) with low pressure, high-volume water spray for soaping things up. The 15, 25, and 40-degree tips and the Turbo tip are high pressure (up to 3,000 PSI, according to Greenworks), low-volume tips. The higher the number, the lower the pressure, and as you get into the 15-degree tips, you do need to make sure your surface can handle them. The 40-degree tip is best for spraying off cars (it won’t chip the paint off) and more delicate surfaces, the 25-degree tip is best for sweeping debris out of the way and picking up a little dirt, the 15-degree tip is very high pressure with a cutting action; this one you need to be careful with.
Uses
I picked up the Greenworks pressure washer for a couple of reasons. I have a pool in my backyard, and the pool decking over the years has gotten a very dirty look, one that does not get cleaner with just using a water hose and brush to clean it. In addition, the walls of the pool and the tile in particular has gotten some etching from the pool water, and it will be nice to have a pressure washer to clean it. And finally, cleaning pool filters can be a real pain. In the past, I’ve used a hose, but the 40-50 PSI my hose puts out makes cleaning four filters a long, drawn out process. A pressure washer would shorten that process up by a lot.
Review
I got the Greenworks assembled and connected to my garden hose. Plugged it in, fired it up, and started with the 40-tip. It did a good job pulling up the old dirt and stains on the pool decking but didn’t really do much for the rust stains. I started cycling through the tips, and each one did make a difference in how much it pulled up from the old pool decking. The Turbo tip was the best of all four for cleaning the concrete up, it really did an amazing job of making that pool deck look new. Super impressed. Usually, it takes me over an hour to spray the pool decking down, sweep, brush, and squeegee it; but with the Greenworks I was done in 15 minutes (and I wasn’t tired at all!). I didn’t use the soap tip since my pressure washer didn’t come with a detergent tank.
Conclusion
The Greenworks pressure washer is a solid piece of kit. It is mobile, easy to use, quiet, and effective. It has substantially shortened up the time and effort that I’ve needed to spend on tasks.

Perfect pressure washer for my needs

All I can say is how happy and satisfied with this Greenworks Electric Pressure Washer. I needed one for a while for not only to help with my back deck but mostly for my driveway and walkway in my courtyard (see pics). Every step from installation to use was as user-friendly as it gets.
In the box is all the parts that you need to assemble yourself. The only tool I required was a phillips head screwdriver. Following the included installation manual took me about 15-20 mins to put it all together. One thing is the manual shows the wheels already installed during assembly but you have to do that yourself. Not hard at all, just obviously don't miss this.
There are 5 included tips that are easy to switch out using the quick release connector. You can choose from 15, 25 and 45 degree angles, a turbo and cleaning soap tips.
After plugging in my garden hose and plugging the pressure washer into an outlet (I do like how the cord comes with it's own installed GFCI protection), I went straight to work on my walkways.
All I can say is WOW. The results speak for themselves with my before and after pics. The Greenworks completely annihilated all the dirt and grime right off the walkway to show instant cleanliness. I am so happy that now I can clean what I want as a DIYer instead of paying someone else to do the same job.
Easy to install, super mobile and great performance is what Greenworks showed me with this pressure washer. I would recommend it.

Great little electric power washer... We use a gas powered 4000 psi unit for the paver driveway and other large jobs, but we use this unit more frequently because of its ease of operation and light weight. We had a 2400 psi Sun Joe electric unit before this one, and much prefer the Greenworks unit. My wife especially likes it for outside furniture and various touchups where mold accumulates. BTW, all of the 3000 psi Greenworks power washers use exactly the same pump, but are available at different price points. This on has a heavier-duty wand, better wheels and an upright frame.

I purchased this electric power washer to replace a 3100 PSI gas powered washer. The performance of this unit doesn't come close - it feels like a 2000 PSI unit at best. I only recommend this unit for light to medium duty so if you are looking to clean the siding of your home, wash your car, etc., this will be perfect. I also like the compact size and ergonomics compared to the other Greenworks pressure washers. Pros: Ergonomics, light and easy to maneuver, seems well built and solid, warranty and no more dealing with maintaining a gas powered unit. Cons: There is no way this is 3000 PSI, no soap tank (all you get is a dangling tube), motor doesn't shutoff when not pulling the trigger.

Hello SSLauren. The 3000 PSI operates at 2.0 GPM flow at 100 PSI when using the soap nozzle and 3000 MAX PSI at 1.1 GPM using any of the other nozzles included. Working pressure is within 10% of the rated pressure according to PWMA standards. Different nozzles will offer different pressures for certain cleaning applications. The smaller the Degree/orifice size, the higher the pressure. Pressure Washer Tips Tutorial (https://youtu.be/OwlDalSKVkY). Hope this information helpful. The quick of it, this is easy to setup and easy to use. After a half hour of assembly, you simply connect which nozzle you want to use, connect your water hose, turn it on, and plug in the power. Before turning on the pump, I held down the nozzle to get as much air out of the line as I could, then pressed the power button.
I spent some time just getting the surface dirt from my car. It’s very reminiscent of going to the DYI car washes with the spray nozzle and brush. Without squeezing the handle, you do not get any water flow and there isn’t any variation in water output (unless you change nozzles). Squeezing the handle turns it on and letting go turns it off. I was able to give my vehicles a good rinse with the larger angle at 40 degrees. It made quick work of surface dirt from the nearby construction work they’ve been doing by my house that has been kicking up dirt and dust. I still had some tougher spots and bugs, so I went for the heavier duty 25-degree nozzle. This one provided a bit more focused pressure, but I was careful not to get too close as to damage the paint on my vehicle. This nozzle was also a big more successful in removing the tougher debris off my car.
I’ve also had some mud on my driveway for several weeks that the rain has not been able to disperse. No problem for the pressure washer. I got a bit closer with it this time, but it easily took care of getting it out of the grooves of the concrete.
You get plenty of power cable and plenty of hose with the unit. I’m more limited by my spigot and water hose than I was the power cable. There’s also nothing fancy about the power cable. There is a GFIC circuit built into the power cable close to the plug, but it’s far enough down the line that I didn’t have a problem plugging it in. The wand and hose allow for plenty of freedom too. I had good coverage of the vehicle without having to reposition the pump. I had it parked at the front left wheel of the SUV and got about three quarters of the way around before I had to go around the other direction.
I was also surprised how light weight it was. I’m so used to lugging around the gas-powered pressure washers, I often dreaded the task knowing how heavy it was. The wheels allow for easy movement, and I hardly feel the weight, making it a much more enjoyable task. The added convenience of having a soap siphon will make cleaning the house siding and vehicles a time saver because you wont need to apply the soap by hand, it’ll just spray on and spray off.
Assembly instructions were easy to follow, everything was well packaged. A screwdriver and about 30 minutes of taking my time and reading everything to make sure I got it right, and I was ready to start using. I appreciated the quality and thoughtfulness of everything provided. There’s an easy storage hook for the spray wand cable as well as cable storage for the power cord. The front of the handle also houses the nozzles, and they included a small pin to clear any debris that may clog the nozzle which I just store in an unused nozzle.
You will have to evaluate if electric is the right choice for you. For home use, I do not see any downsides as I’m fully capable of reaching the end of my driveway with a longer hose (plenty of power cord!). The tradeoffs are well worth it, especially knowing I can extend the hose or extend the power cable as needed and I don’t feel like I’m losing anything special you would get with a gas-powered pressure washer. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a pressure washer to clean your home, cars, driveway, or outdoor furniture.

Hello ChimiC. We appreciate you taking the time to review this product. This is our most powerful pressure washer and operates similar to a gas unit without the inconvenience of a gas product such as maintenance and gas. Greenworks 3000 Max PSI provides at 1.1 GPM water flow (2.0 GPM flow at 100 PSI). With the option of multiple nozzle tips, this allows for a variety of potential jobs to be completed by one unit. When selecting a nozzle tip for the correct job, please use the nozzle chart for reference (https://youtu.be/OwlDalSKVkY). We hope this helps provide a better user expereince. pros:
- powerful performance: at 3000 psi, this washer offers impressive cleaning power. whether you're tackling tough driveways, patios, or vehicles, the high-pressure output cuts through grime and dirt effortlessly. it even made washing and waxing my truck a breeze, removing stuck-on debris without damaging the paint (assuming you use the correct nozzle of course. paint damage may actually be possible with the higher angled tips!)
- electric convenience: unlike gas powered washers, the greenworks model is electric, meaning no fumes, oil changes, or loud engine noise. it's quieter and much more eco-friendly, and i appreciate that i don’t have to worry about maintenance or storage of fuel. washing my garage floor was significantly better in every way than with my previous gas powered cleaner.
- user-friendly design: assembly was quick and simple, and the 25 foot hose provides plenty of reach. the 35 foot power cord is a nice touch, allowing me to cover a larger area without constantly moving the unit. the included accessories (15°, 25°, 40° soap nozzles, plus a “turbo” nozzle for essentially peeling paint) offer flexibility for different tasks.
- compact and portable: despite its impressive power, the greenworks washer is relatively compact and easy to maneuver. it’s lightweight, and the built-in handle and wheels make it a breeze to move around my yard and garage.
cons:
none that i can think of!
overall impression:
this greenworks pressure washer is an excellent investment for anyone looking to maintain their property. it’s powerful, efficient, and remarkably easy to use. the convenience of an electric model combined with its exceptional cleaning power makes it perfect for both small and large jobs. easy 5 stars for me.

Huge Green Works Fan

Like my title states, I am a huge fan of Green Works products. I have several of their battery operated lawn products (mower, string edger, brush cutter, blower) and they have never let me down
When my old Green Works pressure washer failed (it fell into the pool), I knew what brand I would be looking for. I did step up to a cart type from a rolling "backpack" and from 2,000 PSI to 3,000
Unboxing was uneventful. The parts were relatively overprotected, but it only took a few minutes to lay them out for assembly
The same for assembly. Instructions were included, but really this was intuitive and only too a few minutes with just 2 tools (not supplied)
So how does it work?
My first project was to spray down some stains on my driveway. Keep in mind that this has a 3,000 PSI output, so choose your tips carefully (you are given plenty to choose from)
I pretreated some stains and let them sit for a few hours and when I pressure washed them, they simply disappeared
Next up was a section of fence with loose paint. This is when tip selection and distance is very important. The paint chips flew off, and I was very careful not to damage the wood
Putting it away is a breeze. The rack on top is marked and holds all of the tips. There is tabs to wind the cord along with the hose. Only take a couple of minutes. The wheels make it super simple to roll back into my garage (or a shed)
1 thing to note and this did not matter to me, is that this model did not have a detergent reservoir. You can attach a detergent bottle, but there is not a container to fill. I also did not see one on the Green Works website. Again, not a big deal since I pretreat and spray

Green mildew gone with Greenworks

The Greenworks Electric Pressure Washer is an adult talking point. Ironically, the week this arrived to the house I was at work when one of my coworkers mentioned that her social circle will talk about weird random adult subjects/items for example pressure washers... and I quickly chimed up to hype the Greenworks Electric Pressure Washer up. There appear to be 2 main types of Greenworks Electric Pressure Washers, those with the power cord and also the battery powered option. I was weary toward the battery powered option, as you have to have the particular brand/voltage but your use is limited to charge life. This makes the power cord option preferred in my mind and is such a pleasant, easy to use washer. There is no need for gas, which makes me feel more at ease not needing a gas tank sitting around or going to the gas station to fill it just to use a pressure washer. Honestly, in general after this experience I would recommend a Greenworks product as your gateway away from gas around the home tools.
With that being said, the pressure washer is simple to get up and running and does its job well. There is some assembly required, as this is well packaged in the box for transit. Using the directions was pretty easy to throw together overall. I mainly wanted this to clean off the mildew on the second floor outdoor balcony, which was a sinch. I've been too lazy to take a bucket and sponge out there and this made the process motivating and easy to complete. The 25' pressure hose along with a 35' power cord allows for being able to reach quite far overall, making a second story project possible without too much headache. Cleaning concrete path off was quick also. There are different nozzle types including 15, 25 and 40 degree angle, turbo and soap tip. There is a spray tip guide in the instructions if you are not familiar with use/surface types for each type. 40 degree is for more delicate jobs, but would still recommend to be careful on soft/delicate surfaces, trying a small area before going at it quickly/often. The 25 took the mildew vinyl scum off well. I have not attempted to use the soap, but the turbo was fun just to shoot the water out with (a child at heart, I know). Just no matter what avoid fingers near an active tip, I've seen a couple slices over the years (my dad being the first as a kid) and although clean an aggressive cut.
In summary, this electric power washer by Greenworks has made me a fan of the company. I think a major put off for me is the idea of having to maintain traditional gas products and keep a tank around the home with a little one running about. Greenworks empowers home tasks to the electric side of life and I am impressed with the pressure washer quality and capabilities considering what this product offers. For a home user, let this be your next adult talking point to catch co-workers up from over the weekend events.

Ideal Pressure Washer for the Home

The Greenworks 3000 PSI electric pressure washer is the ideal residential pressure washer for me.
First off it’s easy to assemble right out of the box and took me about 30 minutes at the most to have everything assembled and ready to go.
Inside the box for the Greenworks 3000 electric pressure washer they include a 25 foot kink resistant hose that is steel braided. A pressure washer wand/spray gun with an easy pull trigger. Also included of course are the nozzles. The 5 nozzels that are included are the turbo, soap, 40 degrees, 25 degrees and a 15 degrees as well. All nozzles are connected via quick connection so there is no fumbling when changing nozzels which make it very convenient.
I would say I am satisfied with the Greenworks 3000 pressure washer as I used it to clean my back deck and siding to my home without any issue. I would say it’s fairly quiet due to its 14 amp brushless motor which nice.
Greenworks states that it also has auto adapting technology to recognize which nozzle it connected to adjust the motors power delivery which is cool as well as a thermal relief valve that is supposed to purge hot water from the pump to cool it. All welcomed features if you ask me.
All in all I am satisfied with this product.

Purchased a 2nd gen 3000psi washer. I am very impressed with the power the machine provides. Works great for what I need.
My only concern is for the electric cord that powers the machine … then the power wash hose… then the water hose… the three lines were a bit frustrating to handle when moving the machine around.. all in all a really good powerful electric power washer!!
