I got these about 2 weeks before Christmas and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. But there was a reason i got them when i did. They were originally $65 ( @ my local BestBuy) and they went on sale for $32 so I got them. I sit in front of a computer for 4-5 hour hitches and these help so much. I really had eye strain in my right eye, and now that i wair these i dont get it anymore.

These really help , after hours of gaming my eyes would bother me and start to get weary , but these block out blue light which causes that , I can see much better while gaming now !

These glasses are premium in quality but they were too wide for my face. Hence, I had to return them and got a different style that fits me better and at a cheaper price.

It’s balanced, has a wide field of view, and with its modern styling, deep cover will never be compromised.

They seemed fine but i did not feel any beneficial effect from wearing these for gaming. the glasses themselves are nice if you want bluelight protection, but if i was iffy about bluelight glasses in general and i dont like them

These blue light glasses have made a huge difference for me! I spend hours on my computer, and since wearing them, I’ve noticed less eye strain and fewer headaches. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and look stylish too. The lenses are clear with no weird tint, and they really help with screen glare. Definitely worth it if you’re on screens a lot!

I was a skeptic about gaming glasses. Figured it was a gimmick, After reading multiple reviews I decided it was worth a try. Very pleasantly surprised. Major reduction in eye strain from daily computer use and for gaming. I am a 60 year old attorney by day, gamer by night (COD WARZONE, NEED FOR SPEED, SERIOUS SAM, BATTLEFIELD, AGE OF EMPIRES). The first thing you will notice when you put them on is the yellow tint. It's no big deal. I adjusted to that immediately. I did have to make some minor graphics adjustments, but again, no big deal. It actually made visual improvements to the games. Two major advantages. One, I don't have to stop and rub my eyes all the time. Second, no more eye strain or fatigue. Before the glasses my eyes would get tired within an hour. Now, none at all. Will these glasses improve your gaming? Maybe not directly. However, reduced fatigue will keep you sharp much longer. Price? Not bad. They are well made and I suspect they will last a long time. I keep mine in the protective bag the glasses come with and that should help. Anything negative? Oh, not easy to clean. I found that a soft washcloth and a little dishwashing soap work the best. Dry them with a clean soft towel. The cleaning cloth that comes with the glasses alone will not get the body oils off. But I find this to be true with all kinds of glasses, including prescription lenses. I'm sold on gaming glasses now. In fact, the next time I get new prescription glasses I am going to add the blue light filter to them. Which reminds me, I do wear prescription glasses, but do not have to wear them when I use a computer. I you have to wear prescription glasses when you use a computer these glasses will obviously not work for you. I have not tried other brands, so I cannot comment on those. I can only say the Gunnars are truly fabulous.

Great Quality but Unfortunate Glare

Great quality. Decent quality microfiber drawstring case and great microfiber cloth. Does what it's supposed to. Blocks out some of the blue light so that you aren't straining your eyes as much. Yet something in the lens refracts light causing a blue glare on the lens, mostly in the middle. This blue glare is very distracting and sometimes causes me eye strain. For the price, I feel I should get no glare, but this is my first pair of glasses of all time so I can't really complain about something that might be on every pair of glasses, blue light or not.

I will start with my ‘conclusion’ because I am not a patient person myself and the bottom line is I would recommend these glasses. These blue light blocking, “gaming” glasses do relieve symptoms of extended exposure to digital output devices.
Now I will briefly cover some details for context. Like many, I work on a computer and I seem to be susceptible to contrasting light intensities and ‘glare’ (for lack of a better description) which cause headaches and eye discomfort. These glasses provide a clear environment while softening glare and almost completely eliminating the the effect that the difference in light intensities, between my screens and the large row of windows in the background, have had on my eyes. There is no magnification, which is good since I don’t need it. According to articles I have read, staring at a static object that is at a relatively close distance for long periods is why individuals experience eye strain, rather than constant exposure to blue light emission in which case glasses can only do so much. With that being said, I have had a good experience with wearing these. The glasses are light weight and don’t look bad at all either. I am not one to wear sunglasses for long periods so i can’t say there has been a time where I forgot I had them on, but they had a significantly positive impact and have never been bothersome to wear.
Three observations that may be viewed as negatives (and some may find helpful):
- The overall size of the lenses and the frame seems large to me
- There is no padding on the bridge of the frame so the frame sits directly on the bridge of the nose, which is not uncomfortable by any means.
- I have noticed that I pick up a small shine or glare on the inside of each of the lenses, towards the bottom (that ironically appears blue in color) that is almost holographic. This is not a constant issue but I have experienced it.

The Gunnar Enigma glasses are awesome—super comfy and really help with eye strain. I noticed a big difference right away.
Only downside: the package arrived squashed and looked like it had been opened. Thankfully, the glasses were fine, but shipping could be better.

I was hesitant in getting blue light glasses at first b/c I felt it was a gimmick. After doing extensive research and reviews I decided to give these ones a try instead of buying an off-brand product on amazon. Might as well spend the extra few bucks on a legitimate product that’s an investment for my eyes!
I must say after using it every night either web surfing/studying/ or playing Xbox for hours, I’ve noticed my eyes aren’t feeling strained or getting headaches! These glasses are comfortable to use and definitely does the job in deflecting the blue lights from the monitors. It does give off a yellow tint while wearing it but for me personally I don’t mind it much (some may not like it). It’s durable and feels comfortable to wear for long hours. I only tend to use it for it’s intentional purpose and not plan to wear it outdoors for fashion.

The glasses work great, they are really lightweight and fits really well, the lens make the eyes more comfortable after long hours in front of the screen, and yes for the first few minutes you will feel that everything is yellowish, but after that your brain adjusts and you can see really well the color shades and all, of course if you work with coloring and photography and video you don't want use it so it don't influence your work, but for office work that don't demand color fidelity, watching videos or movies, series etc, using phone and social medias and gaming it's an amazing product! On darker games or with little contrast it also helps the contrast between light and shade. I highly recommend it reduced my eye discomfort in the end of the day.

I work from home now, and my eyes hurt. I stare at my monitor (49 inch ultra wide) for roughly 16 hours a day. I had "gaming glasses" already, but they were a cheaper brand, and clear lens. They did block out blue light, but not compared to these. I also suffer from chronic migraines, and these do help since I am staring at a monitor. Obviously, these will not cure head aches or migraines, they are glasses, but they do help the eye strain which helps with my migraines a bit. They are worth every penny.
