It is a piece of metal with a plastic handle attached. That being said though it is absolutely amazing for getting in between plastic to pull it apart. I used this to get my laptop open to put ram and a hard drive in it. It is a great addition to any tool kit when repairing or opening electronics.

That was worth the price of admission

My roommates have seen me using it and they have also both borrowed it for their own tinkering/upgrades/repairs. Just be sure you get it back from whomever you loan your tools to. Had to ask for it back both times the roommates borrowed it.

I used it to change the RAM sticks in my laptop. I had to take the laptop apart with the jimmy tool and it worked great. No issues. It didn't break or get bent. It was strong and did what it was supposed to do.

I haven't had a problem with this tool, opening up laptops and stuff of the sort. It is metal, and I did dent up some plastic with this. I also did cut myself on this, so do be careful.

Really helps me getting under things my finger won't. That's really it however after the initial lift I just use my hands again.
