This makes TV experience so much more enjoyable having good sound. I’m not very techie. But I can really tell a difference between my TV and the other TVs in the home. The sound quality is amazing. It also comes with a subwoofer so if you’re watching something intense, it’s fun. I don’t have the subwoofer always on, but it’s cool.

The sound is amazing I got it plugging in via HDMI cord on tv and it turns on with tv the sub is good u can adjust how much bass there is there’s a night mode it’s nice

I purchased this sound bar not expecting anything spectacular, just a basic soundbar to go with our new TV. Bottom line up front, this product is not worth even the sale price. The setup and operation of the soundbar right out of the box was so difficult and glitchy we had to call Geek Squad to come make an attempt at setup (another $100 we could have just used for a better wuality soundbar) hoping we could just get it to work. Jilly from Geek squad (who was fantastic by the way!) struggled for over an hour to get it to work. She was finally able to get it to function, but the subwoofer makes an audible “popping” noise whenever its in use. No amount of adjusting settings could remedy this, she concluded it was just poor wuality equipment. She ended up telling me this soundbar is junk and to return it to Best Buy and purchase something else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, even at a sale price its not worth rolling the dice that you’ll get anything other than a pile of electronic junk. Very disappointed, now I have to take it back to store to return it. Thankfully the return process seems straight forward.

I tried everything on the manual and even checked YY in hot to hook em up together but they dind work. They’re supposed to autoconnect when plugged for the first time but they dind. So I had to do it manually.

If your subwoofer does not connect automatically to your soundbar, the subwoofer pairing LED slowly blinks turquoise.

2 Press and hold the (source selector) button on your soundbar for three seconds. The soundbar enters pairing mode and its LED blinks turquoise quickly.

Very good for the price. Installation was as simple as possible. (It's never fun to try to plug stuff into the back of a TV.) The wireless subwoofer connected automatically. For my ears it has great sound. I can feel the thump of the sub. Made me feel like I was at the football game. You do have to change the audio setting on your TV to switch it to the new speakers. Not difficult, but be aware.

I purchased the insignia soundbar because I also have an insignia tv so I wanted to have a sound bar that’s the same brand. I also liked that it comes with a wireless subwoofer. I’m really torn on whether or not I like the sound bar. Here are some of the cons: 1. It was difficult to setup. Not the physical installation but there are additional required steps within the tv’s audio setting if you are using a fiber optic cable. That is not included in the instructions. I googled the error I was encountering that how I found out how to fix it. 2. The subwoofer does not work. 3. I have a soundbar mount that attaches to my tv and the soundbar would attach to the mount however this soundbar does not allow for that you can only mount it to the wall. 4. The size of the soundbar is very big, specifically the width. 5. It does not fully power down. I turn it off using the remote however within 30 mins later it’s back on. I do wonder if that’s an issue with the Tv because my led lights that are plugged into my insignia tv does the same thing. It turns itself back on, it could be because smart TVs install update etc and I guess are never truly “off”. Nonetheless it’s annoying that it stays on all the time. The pros: 1. The sound quality is really good; is installed in my living room (I have a small living room) and it delivers a good sound 2. The price. 3. Small thin remote is easy to use.

I’m 70 years old and still have good hearing but to listen to music on YouTube and watching sports on my TV I wanna have better quality sound and a subwoofer so I purchased a sound bar with a subwoofer from Best Buy. I love it. I didn’t mount mine on the wall although it came with the hardware to do that. I just put it on the TV stand. I’m happy with the quality of the sound compared to my TV; although I wasn’t unhappy with the TV sound, but I’m much more happy with the sound bar and subwoofer. I wish I had got it years ago.

Great deal when I added to a TV order. Got it on sale. Able to connect to TV various ways, good sound quality and decent little wireless sub for added bass. Really a good deal even at regular price / comparable to many higher priced but no better equipped examples from other brands.

I bought the sound bar system to go on a couple year old TV that just had terrible sound. It’s a bedroom TV and I wanted something that was a little better but not overwhelming at night. This insignia sound bar and subwoofer definitely do the trick. The ability to adjust the bass to meet my needs is definitely something I was looking for. Good unit I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a low priced sound bar that won’t be disturbing to those around you. A Pleasant surprise.
