The wrist rest makes navigating the mouse much easier and reduces stress on the wrist. The mousepad I purchased has thin black ribbons across an ivory white background, and it is simply beautiful! It goes splendidly with my white mouse and white keyboard. But it would go just as nicely with a black computer. The back of the mousepad has a good grip and keeps the mousepad in place when in use. It's also slightly thicker than other mousepads I've had, giving it the heft that I like in mousepads. The fabric has a lovely silky sheen and the mouse runs smoothly over it. The wrist rest is firm and doesn't create valleys along its length. In short, I love this mousepad and plan to buy another one!

One important thing to note is that it is not a mouse pad itself, but a mouse pad support, that you can a mouse pad on top of and then use the wrist support from the product when you are navigating your mouse. Keeping that in mind, this product works as stayed and the wrist support is great for keyboard warriors like myself that have to do considerable work on our laptops!

After doing this for the last three years, the right edge of my lower palm finally had enough friction from using a generic mouse pad. I finally decided to do something about it and went to Best Buy to purchase this Insignia mouse pad with wrist rest. My only regret is that I didn’t get one of these a long time ago! This product is excellent in every way, from the size/design and fabric texture for the mouse to glide on to the wrist rest pad which is well shaped and VERY comfortable. The pad also has a great gel backing that helps keep it firmly in place. For ten dollars this is a no-brainer! This product well exceeded my expectations from the moment I started using it. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this to anyone who uses a computer.
