Not what I expected too complicated to use
Not even close to an EV or QSC speaker

First thing first, how does it sound? Pretty good. For context I have 2 JBL Partybox 320's and on speaker poles (yes they have a stand hole underneath the cover on the bottom of the speaker like the PB 310's) they are louder than one JBL EON ONE MK2. However if you are using an EON for DJing or Karaoke this thing is JBL Pro gear where the PB 320's are considered consumer gear. There is a sonic difference. I use a Shure wireless mic with my EON for Karaoke over Youtube and a 55" Vibe Canvas monitor/tablet on wheels. The PB speakers with the PB wireless mics do not compare for a clean and detailed sound, The EON MK2 just sounds better like concert level quality and loudness. I would say the EON MK2 is an excellent choice for so many situations. Ok so the Partybox 320's have a built in light show and 2 of these bad boys in even a large room are loud, yes. I did a dance party with additional lights and chose to bring my PB 320's instead of the EON ONE MK2. They are loud and flashy but I would choose the EON ONE MK2 over the PB 320's. I know that 2 320's and 1 EON are about the same price and it is really nice having both options. I would really like a 2nd EON ONE MK2 but my DJ laptop is dying so I had to pony up and buy a new laptop yesterday. I want to find the EON on sale for a grand, that would definitely entice me. Just the gigs I have pretty much 80% of the time my EON ONE MK2 is more than enough. My gigs are not in clubs but outdoor venues and medium-large sized rooms (1200 square feet). The reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating is because of the firmware update I recently did. The Pro Connect app kept telling me about an update in March. I kept checking the app last month to do the update. Lond story short I was at a Karaoke gig and of course it wanted to update then. So it took like 30 minutes to update and I still couldn't connect to the app until later. Luckily I could still do the Karaoke gig but it was a problem. Also in the app you cannot minimize it or switch to a different app because it glitches often when the JBL Pro Connect app isn't on screen and leaving it there. But really don't let that sway you because there's always a solution. If you are looking at the JBL IRX column array try try try to find the bucks to upgrade to the EON ONE MK2 because of the battery power it has. That is another great selling point. The battery power is great outside especially like an outdoor wedding or outdoor party. If you made it the end here, best of luck to you and party on!

I bought a used version from a music store. This thing can get nice and loud. However the experience of trying to use it via the mobile app can be a pain. On occasion it can disconnect or the app stops working. This is after I got it fully up to date with the new firmware.
However, the biggest issue I have is with microphones, it seems like I'd be better off running a mixer with preamps into it. And on the note of mixing, why doesn't this have any kind of meters? It would be nice to have a visual indicator of input gain and mix levels.

Great sound that I can setup and take down in under 5 minutes including setting up the mics. Having 3 channels is great for larger events. Battery is great for outdoors.
