Got this for my son’s room as we’re trying to address his health issues. It looks great and almost whisper quiet. Easy to use and love the touch display with lock and dimmable feature. I’m now planning on getting one for my room as well. I suffer from allergies and noticed a significant difference after having slept in my son’s room a few times now since getting it. I have also noticed a difference for the better for him. Great product and result.

I just got the product, and it is a major upgrade from another air purifier I had. It feels really high quality and is super easy to setup and maintain. The fan modes on it are very promising. Only thing is to see how long this amazingness will last, I did just get it yesterday!

I'm giving it a five because it seems to work fine, very attractive, looks like it will be very easy to clean, but my room doesn't smell any better. So you know what happens once it gets past the return. You can't do anything with it, so I'll keep it, I'll run it, and hopefully it'll purify the room. It's certainly attractive, very easy to use, with ease of the controls being on the top, maybe just a little cumbersome trying to take it apart.

I noticed the next day how much dust was going around my room. That next day I could breath better in the mornings now.
Only con was when it was shipped the box looked like someone open it then retaped it then shipping made the box look like it was beating around.

Kyvol 215 Sq. Ft P5 HEPA Air Purifier - Gray
With the current Covid pandemic. and the recommendations for good indoor air quality, I was really looking forward to getting this air purifier up and running, since it could certainly prove to be a valuable tool in helping to improve my indoor air quality.
Setup was a breeze using the Quick Guide and the excellent User Manual. The Quick Guide explains what each button on the Control Panel is, and the User Manual gives more detailed information about using each of the control buttons.
The HD LED smart touch control panel on top of the unit offered me lots of options. In addition to the Power On/Off button, I was able to:
• choose to set a timer to operate the unit for two, four, six or eight hours, or to run continuously.
• choose one of four settings for the fan speed (the default setting of two was extremely quiet). While a setting of four was obviously much more noticeable, it wasn’t bothersome. Rather, it sounded more like a room fan running at a high speed, and after a short while became nothing more than background noise. (A setting of three was a nice compromise.)
• choose sleep mode and control the brightness of the included night light. Again, the unit was very quiet and didn’t disturb my sleep at all and the night light came in handy when I needed to get up in the middle of the night. In fact, it was so quiet that when I awoke the first morning after having it set to sleep mode the previous night, I thought it had stopped working. However, when I checked, it was, in fact, still running on the very quiet sleep mode.
I really liked having so many options available. That allowed me to set the Air Purifier to my exact needs at different times.
The unit includes a washable pre-filter that traps pet fur, hair and lint. And, according to the manufacturer, the combination of all the filters “capture pollen, pet hair, dander, smoke, odor, and large dust particles, in addition to removing 99. 97% of airborne contaminants as small as 0. 3 microns”. While I’m not able to measure that for this review, it’s definitely reassuring to know that the air I’m breathing is a whole lot cleaner that it would be without this unit.
The unit is stylish enough so that it doesn’t need to be placed out of sight. That means you can put it wherever you’d like. And it can be easily moved from room to room. I chose to have it in my home office during the day, which is where I spend most of my waking hours, and then moved it to the bedroom for the night. I found it easy to move around, using the conveniently recessed section where the night light is located.
This air purifier comes with a one-year manufacturer’s parts and labor warranty and my recommendation. After all, who doesn’t like cleaner air? Five stars!

I really love the size of this purifier. It seems to be just the right size to place anywhere in the house or office. I took it to my office and management tried to claim it it. At least I know what they're getting this year for Christmas. It's super easy to operate, because all of the controls are right up top and illuminated. the fan is really quite, unless there's a heavy work load of impurities in the room. But even then, it's very tolerable. The night light is adjustable as well as the time-frame of use. This especially great with my puppies. When they stir around the house, hair starts flying everywhere. I like having it around my computer equipment to keep that area as fresh as possible. The vents are very easy to cleans and the filter is very easy to replace. I haven't had to clean it yet, but everything comes apart so easily that it just feels like the easiest chore on the to-do list. It's powered by a USB-C cord,so you know what that means. You can use your phone charger. This is definitely a go. If you've got allergies or breathing disorders, this is a must-have for your home and office. I highly recommend this to everyone.

My grandson stays with me for part of the week. His bedroom has always had a "musty" smell that I can't pinpoint. I put this air purifier in the room and within 24 hours, the room has no smell!. He likes the nightlight feature.
It's super quiet on lower speeds so I can run it while he's sleeping without bothering him. It also has a timer that I can set for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours.
It has a sleep mode that can be used with or without the nightlight. this turns off other lights and puts the fan on the lowest setting.
There is a child lock though I don't need to use that.
It is sleek and fits nicely in the corner. The cord is fairly long to reach an outlet.

First impression:
The Kyvol Vigoair P5 air purifier is a very attractive HEPA filter that is easy to use that is perfect for a small room, such as a bedroom. It is a medium size air purifier that is attractive, lightweight, and feels well made. It comes with the device, a filter, a prefilter, a quick start guide, user manual, and power adapter.
Setup:
Setup for the air purifier is easy. Following the Quick Start Guide, you open the unit up, remove plastic and Styrofoam padding, insert the filter, insert the prefilter, close the unit, and turn it on.
Performance:
Using the air purifier is amazingly simple. The top of the unit has a touch panel that gives you the options. I first selected fan speed 2. This speed moved the air at a pretty good clip but was quiet at the same time. My current air purifier in the bedroom is much noisier at every speed than this model. I cycled through the fan speeds, and I couldn’t hear it running on 1 and 2 unless I was right on top of it. Fan speed 3 has a small amount of noise but would not affect my sleeping. And fan speed 4 was louder but was also moving air at a very fast rate. I settled for 2.
The next option I tested was sleep mode. This mode is why this air purifier has replaced the one in the bedroom. When selected, it runs on speed 1, which makes no sound, but it also turns all the lights off, including the touch panel and nightlight. My other air purifier has a very bright cobalt blue LED that burns a hole in your eyes at night when the bedroom is supposed to be dark.
This unit does include a nightlight which is a very nice feature for those who want one or need it. It provides a very soft white light between the upper and lower sections. It doesn’t light up the entire room and is a good level for someone who needs a nightlight.
The last feature is the timer. It allows you to set it to run for either 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours. Once the timer reaches the end, the unit powers off until you turn it back on.
Conclusion:
The Kyvol Vigoair P5 air purifier is an attractive, quiet, easy to use air filter that, in my opinion, is perfect for a bedroom. The features should work for just about everyone, and the nighttime lighting options are perfect for people who need it dark (myself), or those who need a small amount of soft lighting. The unit is quiet except for the highest settings, and the HEPA filter is perfect for those with allergies or in a dusty environment. This unit has already replaced the one in my bedroom, which is now cleaning my office.
I highly recommend the Kyvol Vigoair P5 air purifier.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to test out multiple air purifiers and there are some that work but are extremely expensive and then there are others that do an “OK” job, don’t cost as much but are just plain ugly and don’t really fit the décor of your home. The Kyvol P5 HEPA air purifier is the all in one solution. It has a simple design, with one fan pulling up air through the HEPA and activated Carbon filter and pushing the up through the vents on the top of the purifier and when the filters need to washed or cleaned, simply unscrew the bottom and the filter comes right out.
Kyvol P5 has really nice touch controls. It has the obvious, the power switch, Four speed fan control, sleep mode, filter replacement indicator, child safety lock, night light, and four timer options. The only thing is missing from this air purifier is WIFI and google and Alexa integration and that’s just my opinion. I am pretty big on turning my home into a smart home and WIFI and smart home integration would have made this air purifier perfect. Just and FYI, this air purifier does not have an indoor air quality indicator other than that the air purifier has a beautiful design and fits into any home décor.
I have been using this air purifier in my bedroom and I have noticed a significant difference in the air that we breathe. The P5 is made for about 215 Sq. ft. and my bedroom is about 175 Sq. ft. and has been working just fine. Even on full speed the fan is pretty quiet and circulates a decent amount of air. I wanted to make sure this thing actually worked and I tested that out by cleaning out some dust from my other air purifiers to see how much dust it would pull and surprisingly it worked well. I would definitely recommend the Kyvol P5 HEPA air purifier.
PROS:
Inexpensive
Simple yet Elegant Design
Touch Controls
Perfect for a bedroom
Works great
CONS:
No WIFI or Smart Home Integration – Personal preference

Overview:
I was looking for an air filter for my bedroom, I’m hoping it will help with my seasonal allergies. I wanted something not too large and quiet. The Kyvol HEPA filter is pretty much perfect for my needs. First thing I noticed was the nice, clean design. It doesn’t look like the typical air filter you see in stores or online. It also has a soft, subtle night light that you can turn on or off. It measures approximately 15” tall and 10” wide. The filter has 3 stages, a pre-filter (washable) to capture large items such as hair, dust and pet fur, HEPA for smaller particles such as pollen, mold and bacteria and a carbon filter for smoke, VOC’s and odors. This should remove 99.97% of the airborne contaminants in the air, as small as 0.3 microns.
Function:
The Kyvol air filter has a nice touch panel on top. There are several buttons that allows you to control the speed (4 speeds available), enable sleep mode (low speed and light turns off), timer function, turn on and off the light, lock out feature, filter change indicator and power. When the filter is on sleep mode, it’s very quiet, you can barely hear the fan. Speed 2 is what I normally keep it at. It’s audible, but not very loud. The one function that this air filter does not have is the ability to auto monitor air quality and adjust the fan speed accordingly. I have other air filters in the house that has this functionality and I generally prefer having it. However, those air filters generally cost much more.
Conclusion:
This filter is perfect for my needs, the stylish design and subtle light is a bonus. I would highly recommend this for anyone that is looking for a HEPA air filter and isn’t looking for auto-detect mode. I wasn’t able to find the cost for a replacement filter.
Pros:
1. Stylish design
2. Quiet operation
3. Intuitive control panel

I followed the user manual setup instructions, removing the plastic and plugging in the device. Then I hit the power button and discovered I spent $100 on a small trash can posing as a night light. No fan sound at any of the settings. No sound of anything moving inside. Complete waste of money, and now waste of time and effort sending it back.

I was expecting something a little bigger, but I like the small size. It does a good job at removing dust odors from the air in a small to medium size room. It removed my wife’s candle and nail polish smells in about 15 minutes in our bedroom. It’s quieter than the other two larger air purifiers that I have previously reviewed, at its lowest fan settings. However, it does make a faint sound kind of like an aquarium pump that you can barely hear but you probably won’t notice it at all across a room, unless it’s dead quiet. If it’s dead quiet in your bedroom and you’re trying to go to sleep the sound might bother you. If there’s any furniture between you and it that will help deaden the sound of it. If there’s any ambient noise from a TV, radio, people talking.... You will likely not notice it at all at the lowest two fan speeds. Obviously, it will get louder at higher fan speeds just like any other device that blows air.
The unit comes in “Eco Friendly” packaging that’s in a recyclable cardboard box with shock absorbing egg crate style cardboard. However, there is some plastic bags and a few pieces for dense plastic foam. Be sure and remove them before using. Unboxing and set up is quick and simple. Just follow the quick setup guide.
The unit has a main Activated Carbon, HEPA, Antimicrobial filter and a couple of washable Pre-Filters. There’s a resettable timer for the main filter and they advise to wash the pre-filter every month or so and to replace them if damaged. They catch the big stuff and the main filter gets small stuff and odors. Also removes VOCs. See Photos.
Interestingly, you have to call Kyvol to get the link to buy a replacement filter from them.
The disc in the top center is where the backlit touch controls are. All are visible at the same brightness when the unit is off. Selected functions are brighter than none-selected ones when unit is in operation.
There are 4 fan speeds and 4 timer settings (2-4-6-8 hours) that you cycle through with each touch and their current settings are displayed around the button. See Photos.
Sleep mode sets the unit to the lowest fan setting and turns off the night light if on. Touch any button location to light up all the buttons and touch Sleep again to take it out of Sleep mode.
Filter Replacement Indicator illuminates when it’s time to change the main filter. A long press of 3 or more seconds will reset the filter timer.
Child Lock, Long press of 3 seconds to activate / deactivate.
Night Light, touching it will turn illuminate the divided section of the unit and discretely shine down on the floor. A long touch will increase in steps to the brightness to a maximum. Long touch again to decrease brightness. Note: At any level, except maximum, you may notice that the night light flickers. Like LED tail lights on certain cars. Not noticeable looking right at it but it is when panning your head / eyes. Night Light doesn’t work when the unit is off. I wish it did.
The unit includes a power adapter the connects via USB-C. However, it supplies 12 volts DC and not the usual 5 volts phones, tablets and other common devices use. So, be careful not to connect it to 5-volt DC USB-C devices because it could damage them. I researched USB-C used as a power source and it’s complicated as to what will work with what and at what voltages, and what can auto sense the voltage and adapt to it.
The Air Purifier is Not Wi-Fi. Nor would I expect it to be at this price. It does not indicate high levels of VOCs, dust or humidity like more expensive models I have revied do. No “Auto” Mode for speeding up the fan speed to clear the air faster as it doesn’t sense the items previously mentioned.
My conclusion is that it’s a very good value for the price. as an HVAC Contractor I Recommend it.

The Kyvol True Hepa Air Purifier is the perfect air purifier for any room in your house or office. It is a fantastic three-stage filtration air purifier that removes both large and small particles. Say goodbye to dust, hair, and other pet and human odors in your breathing spaces; as well as other smelly orders like smoke. It has far exceeded my expectations in terms of connivence, performance and overall design. Simply looking at photos of this purifier does not do it justice. The night light is a really nice touch as adds a nice LED lighting ambience to the room as it compliments my existing lighting.
I have been using this air purifier for the past three days and each time I look at it, I am amazed at how well it looks in my living room. It is my hope that I get a lot of good use out of it for many years to come.
I ordered the Kybol purifier and it arrived a few days ago. The box was slightly larger than I assumed it would be, but it was well packaged and sustained no damage during shipping and handling. The purifier was perfectly arranged its shipping box so that everything was easy to find. I truly appreciate when packaging is well thought out to ensure the user has a good experience at the onset with their product. It was pleasing to open the box and see a quick-start guide right on top. The quick guide was easy to read and to follow along with the step by step instructions from the very beginning of opening the box. It made the process of getting your unit ready to use simple. You simply needed to remove some protective shipping plastic, take the power adapter out of the bottom of your unit, and it’s ready for use. The manufacture also placed the user manual near the top and it too was easy to read. I found that each step within the instructions were concise and clear; as a result, you’re able to set your purifier up with ease and after one complete reading of the manual, you’ll feel confident that you know how to operate it effectively. The manual’s written instructions are easy to understand and read and the pictorial illustrations help confirm you are following the correct steps.
Once I removed the air purifier from the box, I quickly discovered and admired how very nice looking it is. It is a beautiful cylinder style unit in a dark gray color with black accents. This air purifier should fit nicely with your furniture and will look great in any room. It looks so great that I used it to replace another air purifier I was currently using in my living room. The Kyvol Air Purifier will catch the eyes of your guests, as soon as they enter the room, immediately. It sometimes looks like a nice piece of art. It is light weight and easy to carry as the design has an area for lifting and carrying it whenever needed. It’s a well thought-out design for appearance, usage and convenience. In the same sprit of its’ modern design, it is powered by an included DC 12v, type-c power adaptor (all in one card and adapter). Everything that you need for usage is included in the box with the air purifier. As an added bonus, the unit includes removable and washable pre-filters; in addition to true HEPA filters.
The Kyvol Air Purifier is loaded with convenient, easy to understand and utilize touch-button controls that light up when you need them and can be left on or off, depending on your preference. It has four fan speeds and four timer options. However, I wish the timer options included an option for the purifier to run for just an hour, for times when you just want to quickly clean the air, instead of lowest setting being 2 hours, but all the other options, including one that runs continuously are perfect for my needs. There is a sleep mode and a night light. The aforementioned night light is really nice and I find myself looking over at it when it’s dark and or when I’m watching TV or movies. There is also a child safety lock to prevent settings from being changed from your prefernces as well as an alert to notify you when it’s time to replace the filter. All of the buttons on the control panel are conveniently located on the top of the unit.
The ability to remove and wash the pre-filters are an excellent added bonus. Coupled with the ability to simply vacuum the inside of the air purifier and the pre-filters extends the life of this air purifier. The Night light illuminates the room as it looks really nice at night. I only wish I could have the night light on without having to run the purifier. However, I believe if you have the light on while you’re running the purifier, once your selected time has expired, the light will remain on as long as the power is still on.
There are only a few minor cons, that did not change my mind on purchasing this unit. For example, I didn’t see anything about a warranty or the ability to register the product, which raises a few red flags. That’s important to me and I believe that any well-made product should be strongly backed by the manufacturer.
It is a little louder when the fan is on running, and gets louder as you increase the fan’s speed, but that’s to be expected. Although you won’t notice the noise as much with a TV or music playing. Additionally, the sound isn’t too loud or too annoying that it would interfere with watching TV or sleeping, and it is no louder than my central forced heating.
In closing, I highly recommend purchasing The Kyvol True HEPA Air Purifier- you will not be disappointed. Your only regret my be that you didn’t purchase more than one.

This air purifier not only looks very nice and elegant but also works great. It's quick and easy to set up right out of the box. It's not very large so it can really fit anywhere.
The controls are all on top and and simple to use. There are 4 speed levels. The 1st two are pretty quiet, you'll barely know it's on. The last two you can hear but it's still quite from experience with other air purifiers.
I love the child lock feature, because toddlers love pressing things they can reach. The nightlight and timer is a nice feature with 4 options. I love the simple process of sleep mode, once you press it, it automatically turns off the display lights and brings speed to quietest.
I use it in my bedroom and it works great. I've been having what seems like allergy symptoms, runny nose and itchy eyes. But since I've been using this air purifier, even the very 1st night, those symptoms have disappeared. That tells me alot.

This little air purifier is a no-nonsense small air purifier. I was looking for something that my parents could use in their living room, and this was perfect.
We’ve started using a few air purifiers around the house over the past couple of years. Most have apps that you can pair with to check air quality and change modes directly from your phone. This one doesn’t do that. This little air purifier has some easy-to-use and read touch controls on the top. It has a great ring night light that goes all around the midsection of the unit. It has a small footprint; I would compare it in size to a small bathroom trash can; it is short and small in diameter.
The lack of frills and extra features was significant for my parents. They wouldn’t be checking an app or looking for notifications from the air purifier on their phones. You turn it on adjust the speed of the fan, it has a night mode, lock, and notification to let you know when it is time to change the filter. It even has a nice timer to shut off after a few hours.
This is an easy recommendation to anyone looking for something simple, with a tiny footprint, quiet, and doesn’t need the app/phone integration. My parents don’t even notice that it is on. It sits quietly in the corner and does its job—an easy recommendation.

KYVOL 215 SQ. FT P5 HEPA AIR PURIFIER - GRAY
MODEL:VIGP5X-DG
Best Buy Tech Insider Network
SMALL QUIET AIR CLEANER – LIMITED CLEANING POWER
OVERALL
The KYVOL VIGP5X is an attractive easy to use small and quiet air cleaner. I found it to be well built and easy to use without any complicated setup. I like that it does not need or require a remote or an app on your phone to use. Set it up, turn it on, and enjoy.
I tested the KYVOL VIGP5X in my small home office room (10x10). On its lowest fan setting, I could not even tell it was running. The lights are nice as well, with a soft glow that can act as night light.
Since I already use HEPA filters in my furnaces and pretty much have an air filter in every room, it was hard to demonstrate a measurable improvement in air quality with the KYVOL VIGP5X. One feature that the KYVOL VIGP5X does not have is a built-in air quality meter or display. This means that there not an “Auto” feature for air quality. So, it is up to the user to set the fan levels.
PERFORMANCE
Due to airflow variances, what else is going on around the house (gas cooking, etc), it is often difficult to get a precise measurement, but I have 2 different devices to measure air quality. Unfortunately, after 3 days of testing and multiple samples, I was never able to demonstrate / measure and improvement in air quality with the KYVOL VIGP5X. I have tested perhaps 5 other AIR CLEANERS and that has never been the case (they always showed some improvement, even if only a little). I am not a filter expert, but the filters on the KYVOL VIGP5X seem very porous compared to other filters. I can’t concretely prove that the air cleaner is doing anything. In a 10x10 room with the door closed and only occupied 30% of the time.
RECOMMENDATION
Although the quality is there, I would prefer a unit with a built-in sensor, and I was not able to independently measure any improvement in air quality. That being said, my air quality is already very good. So while the KYVOL VIGP5X is not an aggressive air cleaner, it does a good job overall. If you don’t want to break the bank and only have a small area to clean, I think this is a good start.

This Kyvol HEPA air purifier, as mentioned in the title, is handsome. Certain to complement most interiors, mine's a dark grey. The perforated cylinder is just under 17 inches high and nearly 10 inches in diameter. All the controls are on the top of the machine - blue lit icons represent different features and modes.
There are four fan speed settings - important for both speed/volume filtering as well as the white noise generated. I usually leave mine on the 2 setting at night and low whir of the motor helps me fall asleep.
Other controls include a night light setting, providing a nice cool glow from the middle portion of the device. The control lighting can be turned off so as not to light up your room at night. You can "lock" it so children and pets do not accidentally change settings. Finally, there's a timer and a warning light when it's time to clean the washable preliminary filter.
Having used it for approximately two weeks, I've noticed my sleep has improved and a significant reduction in allergy symptoms. I probably should get one for my living room too.
