This Lego series is really cool. My eight year old has quite a few of the Mechs now and he loves building them and swapping out the parts with the others.
I would say anyone with a moderate level of experience with lego sets should have no problem with this one. Its a good balance of fun with challenge.

Great product, Lego never disappoints. Didn't know Best Buy sold Lego sets- many of my son's Ninjago sets are always sold out at other stores. Glad to have another option to buy sets.

Bought this for my 9 year old nephew and he LOVED it! Spent the following day building the LEGO and my other nephew requested this for his birthday as well.
