Customers regard the UltraGear 45" OLED monitor's large screen size and high refresh rate as significant strengths, praising the immersive curved display and vibrant OLED picture quality. However, some users find the resolution insufficient for certain tasks and express a desire for improved text clarity. The lack of a remote control in the latest model is also a point of concern for some customers.

The Monitor ROCKS!!! I am using a Nvidia 4060 and the picture is beautiful. This monitor will is on YouTube for all the specs but for a ACC, IRacing, and GT7 sim racer its perfect!! The size fits my Next Level rig perfectly and I this point, Me Personally, 45" is all I need for now. The 49",57', and 59' look amazing but are just too much for me. For a more immersive and intimate experience, This the monitor to get!!

I went from a 32 inch 4k 140 PPI QD-OLED screen to a 45 inch W-OLED widescreen and ended up being completely immersed and amazed while gaming on this screen. It really is a sight to behold once you have it all set up and youre playing on it. Roughly 1300 Nits peak brightness when set to high.
I encountered some strange color banding when i first turned it on, but a 10 minute image care cleaning option made that issue vanish forever. If you plan on gaming on this screen it will be am amazing experience, but i cant speak for productivity.

Amazing product. The biggest surprise was the absolute Chungus of a power brick. Weighs over a kilo and supplies 270w of power for this wicked sized monitor. The io on the back is perfect. The raised height of the stand is much appreciated and the size of the screen makes my 35" vertical monitor look small.. the best feature no one talks about is a 1080p monitor next to this one will line up nearly pixel perfect for not only wall papers but there's no huge jump going from one screen to the next. For context this is an H9 Elite case and a Viotek Gn35 Monitor next to it.

I have had this monitor for almost 6 months.
Main use is my my racing sim PS5 and PC racing.
Definitely worth the especially at the current sale price in 11-2024 of $1,000. Colors are vibrant and monitor is bright enough for me. Even tho it isn’t 4k not a deal breaker for me. Don’t need 4k for sim racing.
The curve on this one is insane!!!
Do not know about bright room with monitor. I have it in darker room.
Overall would buy another LG ultra gear monitor again.

The most amazing monitor I’ve owned inn40 years! I had a great Ultra-wide before this one, but this 45in made everything so much more immersive. And the cable interface options on the back made everything much more convenient.

Let me just get this out of the way right up front: I love this monitor. Photos of its style and design don't do it justice. It is a quite a stately, elegant-looking monitor with very thin aluminum bezels and a glossy dark gun metal gray rear frame and stand. The screen itself is ultra thin, and all in all, I'm a big fan of how this monitor was designed. It's a nice looking showpiece as much as it is a monitor. It looks and feels premium as soon as you lift it out of the box.
As far as picture quality, well, it's OLED, and it's awesome. Games and videos look outstanding on it, and that goes for both the image and the motion clarity. It has height, tilt & swivel adjustment, and LG's OSD is easy to use with many features and color profiles to suit your taste. Even though it's marketed as a gaming monitor, I've used it for work for several hours since I got it, and it's been surprisingly good for that too. This panel is smooth, quick and snappy with very low input lag, and this along with its size made it quite pleasant to work on. I expected that the rather low ppi would make working on it less than ideal, but I found it wasn't nearly as much of an issue as I thought it would be.
This monitor is one of those things that can elicit a certain emotional response from the buyer. I had seen it a few times in pictures, but the first time I saw it in person on display in a store last week, I was in awe. It really is one of the coolest-looking monitors I've ever seen and that is still true after having used it all week.
Truth be told, this panel won't be for everyone. It has an aggressive curve which some may not like, and ultrawide isn't supported in quite as many games as standard 16:9, although the vast majority of games these days do support ultrawide just fine. It also has a matte finish on the screen as opposed to a glossy one. I normally prefer glossy, but this panel still has a striking image and excellent colors and clarity regardless of the matte coating. I'm really glad I took a chance on this monitor.

Ive first seen the early generation of oked monitors at CES and finally jumped on this next gen oled monitors this year. Its a big monitor, aggressive 800R curve, this is great for gaming especially simulator games and FPS ganes. This thing embraces you and fully immerses you to the game or content with its display. The colors are vibrant and after some tweaking and calibration (also installing the color gamut profile to Windows) im loving mine alot. The pixel per inch ( PPI ) however needs improvement but I understand would be resource intensive heavy for most GPU. The subpixel layout of these OLED makes windows cleartype unable to fully smoothen and correct jagged edges of some texts, I found changing the font and text size to help. Overall, its a great monitor definitely the ideal gaming monitor youd have no regrets on, its fast, responsive, vibrant, besutiful, ideal aspect ratio with support from almost every game, its immersive and bright. If you do productivity and office work, its great too if you can live with the 800R curve and slightly pixelated texts.

I had spent months researching the best monitor for my budget and needs. Turs out the Best Buy representative, Anthony, was FAR more knowledgeable than I and was aboe to expertly guide me through my options. We landed on the 45 inch curved LG Ultragear and I couldnt be happier! I walked away with more machine than I had anticipated and didnt break the bank! The monitor has a self image cleaning feature and once that had ran I was completly blown away by the picture. The curve is a bit extreme at first, but after a small adjustment period offers incredible immersion and lightning fast response times. I love the ease with which you can adjust the screen position and height along with the rgb lighting on the rear and under the screen. Gaming has never been more enjoyable. I have been using an Xbox X and its fantastic... I will be returning to Best Buy to see Anthony and purchase a gaming PC worthy of such a beast monitor!

If you’re looking for a high quality OLED monitor this is as far as you need to look. I have many OLED displays in my house and decided to make the switch to OLED for my gaming monitor. LG has some great panels for TVs and this is no different! Colors are great and the curve is perfect. Makes gaming so immersive. 240 hz is great. I upgraded from a 240hz IPS panel and it’s been great having the deeper colors and true HDR with the same responsiveness and refresh rate!

This thing is awesome! Was going to get the Samsung OLED G9, which is also very nice, but it gives up to much vertical screen space vs the LG. This monitor is really the perfect size to suck you into whatever game you are playing.

Performance wise it is great. Colors are fantastic. Speakers are mediocre, but I am using some Bose speakers instead so can’t really complain much about them. The speakers offer decent sound quality, but not as loud as I would like. Response time is very good. The only thing I can say that I dislike about this monitor is the 800R curvature. It is not bad. It just takes some getting used to. Especially when the other monitors I have used in the past were or are are 1500R.
I use this as the game monitor for my system with an RX 6800XT. The monitor is better than the graphics card, but since I generally look for playing around 120 Hz this works well for me. Part of the reason I chose this monitor is that I prefer to keep my eyes around 6 feet away. Due to this the 800R curvature is a little extreme. Not a lot, just a little bit extreme. Perhaps I should have chosen an adjustable curvature monitor. But an additional $300 in cost and not being in stock helped to decide in favor of this unit. I use a second monitor alongside this one. The second monitor is a 32” 2560x1440 curved unit. The screen of the smaller monitor is about 1” shorter in height than this 45” 3440x1440. Which is close enough that I can game on the 45” and still have a web browser or document open on the 32” unit. The 32” is plugged into the onboard graphics of a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor.
Am I glad I bought this unit? Absolutely, yes!

Outstanding!
The color depth of this monitor is perfect for any game, making landscapes surreal while still having the response times and frame rate that you want for competitive games like Marvel Rivals.
There is no backlight so when black is displayed on the screen, it is truly black leaving massive amounts of headroom for the brightest brights.
With this display I can easily track obstacles or enemies on screen with the ultra low response times and lightning fast frame rates.
The hexagon shaped RGB on the back of the display is just bright enough to add some nice ambience while not being too bright to the point where it distracts from what is on-screen.
With this display even while HDR is enabled I never have to spend hours tweaking the brightness settings to get that color and contrast accuracy that you want when playing dimly lit horror games or games that portray deep space with very high contrast.
I love it!
This purchase was honestly a bit steep for me, but I eventually convinced my console-gamer wife to allow me to make the purchase, and after seeing it in action even she agrees it was well worth the expense!

You cannot beat this monitor for gaming. The level of immersion is insane and the oled just makes it so good. Not as great for productivity but still not bad once you get used to minor text fringing issues. If youve been thinking about it i highly recommend it. Beat gaming experience you can buy right now.

Initially, I was disappointed as the first Oled panel turned out to be defective. It was frustrating and after some troubleshooting, I realized it was due to a manufacturing fault. However, after contacting Best Buy, I returned for a new one.
The second panel is incredible! The output is significantly better, and it's living up to its specifications. It efficiently captures the best of HDR with it’s contrast levels and peak brightness!! The installation process was straightforward, and the build quality of the new panel and mount are impressive.
Despite the initial hiccup, I am satisfied with the LG monitor purchase due to the excellent performance of the replacement panel. I would recommend this monitor for gaming but I do advise verifying the panel upon receipt to avoid any initial inconvenience.

Colors pop with the OLED and the refresh rate is insanely fast! This is my first High refresh rate monitor and being curved makes for a great viewing experience. The size seems to hit The Sweet Spot between sitting close on your desk and sitting far away. Very lightweight and easy to put together. The stand does not have much adjustment. A few vertical inches is all you get.
The price is well placed amongst other monitors in its class. This was a great value when today's prices seem out of control

Was skeptical getting a 1440p monitor at 45" but seeing it in person made it a no brainer. Beautifully bright OLED panel with vibrant color and deep blacks.
The monitor is incredibly immersive, powered by a 7900xtx I run everything pushing 200+ fps. The extra screen space in games is amazing. The HDR mode took some tweaking to get it looking perfect but the payoff was worth the effort.
My only regret about this monitor was not getting it sooner.
