Fits the phone in all the right places and offers rigid protection against falls or scratches without making the phone too bulky like other OtterBox cases.

At least the OtterBox goes over the edges of the phone to protect the screen. Nice tight fit and the clear case allows the hazel color of the phone to show through nicely.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this case has yellowed and otherwise discolored badly after just a couple months of use. no cleaning method worked for me. they did send me a new one after I called in, but I had to pay $10 for shipping. at this price point, i find that offensive. it protects the phone reasonably well, though a recent drop from about six feet left me with a shattered screen.

In regards to your replacement case--we grab a shipping and handling fee on all warranty claims. That fee allows us to process your claim as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We're also very sorry to hear about your damaged device. While we design our cases to minimize the risk of damage, there are variables that can influence the outcome of any drop or fall that we're unable to prevent. We're happy to send a new OtterBox under our product warranty, but we are unable to extend our warranty to the device itself, as we are not the manufacturer. Turns yellow within two months!

Soaking in vinegar and baking soda or anything else I tried doesn't restore color. Also starts getting a tacky feeling from degradation of the plastic. It does protect the phone though, so there's that.

I still have it so I've actually done a comparison and yeah I'm still only buying OtterBox Symmetries for my phone's. This provides excellent protection while having an anti-yellowing agent and a nice transparent look.

Some suggested the cover would turn yellowish but mine seems to hold up to its original transparency. Would recommend.

I'm not sure if I will keep it as I'm worried about it protecting phone. I prefer the symmetry cases because they aren't as bulky as the defender but this case is lacking. The top and bottom lips of the case aren't large enough in my opinion because the sides of the 7 pro are rolled and the cases edge are lower the then rolled edges, I know the top and bottom of the case should protect but if it's dropped at a weird angle I think the screen will be done for.
