Great screen - very responsive. Sounds good. Install was pretty easy (BestBuy install was backed up for weeks, so I did it myself).
My only real complaint is the capacitive touch 'buttons' for volume, power, etc. They are horrible. You can't see them in daylight. You can find them by feel. You can't quickly change the volume or mute. I'd gladly give up screen real-estate for a knob. Maybe it's ok if you have steering wheel controls, but the vehicle this is in is older and doesn't. Doesn't seem like too many options out there with real controls unless you spend a fortune or go with some off-brand, though.

Awesome head unit! Made my 07 Hyundai Tucson feel like a new car! The CarPlay hookup via usb works great and having a nice maps display is perfect. This things sounds really good and brought some good life out of the stock speakers.

Less than a year & the unit malfunctioned. The Best Buy technician told me it needed to be replaced & gave me the option to warranty it with Pioneer directly - returning it to Best Buy for the warranty was not an option. So he could leave the defective unit installed or uninstall it & leave a gaping hole in my dash while I fight Pioneer to warranty their garbage product. I felt forced into purchasing a new unit, which I did. I have been running in circles with Pioneer for 2 months, unable to make contact with any human being to warranty the product that conveniently will fall out of warranty in 12 days. I do not recommend Pioneer & I do not recommend Best Buy for your car audio purchases/installations.

I brought 1 of these units back in October 2021. I liked it so much I brought 2 more to install in my other vehicles. 2 of the units stopped working after about 5 months. They freeze up on a white screen and then have to be sent in for repair to Pioneer. 1 of the units has been back twice already. $30 shipping to California and without a radio for 3 weeks. There is clearly a problem with this model. If you do a little research online you'll find others with the exact same problem. I would like Pioneer to offer me a full refund on all 3 units. They have refused.

Radio itself is a definite 90% the other 10% is the times I’ve switched to CarPlay for gps and radio option aren’t available.

Apple CarPlay cannot control or display the FM/AM radio. You can still listen to the radio while in CarPlay and use steering wheel controls to change stations. You might look into radio applications, like iHeart Radio or Audacy.

I could not be more dissapointed with this product. It was bought as an open box- (no problem- it was missing some parts: mounting brackets, screws, box, instructions, etc., & had a small scratch. However, within a week the unit stopped working and shows just a white screen with colored vertical lines, or a black screen. Apparently its a common problem with this unit that I was unaware of, and it seems as if Best Buy is taking these returns, and just reselling them, rather than sending them back to Pioneer or disposing of them. I was told it was likely a display model- again, not a big deal, it was going in my commuter car anyways- so I dont mind a scratch or minor imperfections. But its a problem if the unit doesnt work!! How is it the same Best Buy location has several of these units all open box just like mine. Its not possible that they are all display models from the same location. Like my girl Judge Judy told me- when the story doesnt make sense, its nonsense!! Installing a head unit is a chore, and I'm not happy I have to do it again because its very likely some other customer experienced the same thing as me, & Best Buy likely just resold it. I encourage you to read the reviews for this unit, and see all the other complaints of the unit failing just as mine did. I didn't believe it, and thought the reviews were from the outliers, but it seems it us the norm with this product.

So far so good, everything is working great. The installation was quick and was done early I was in and out of the store before my scheduled appointment time. I absolutely love it.

Was a decent radio for android audio features minus the phone. Callers were unable to hear me clearly through the microphone, therefore I always had to transfer calls to my phone.
Screen died after 22 months of use. Unacceptable. Typical white screen. Pioneer support never responded.
Upgraded to a new Pioneer DMH-2660NEX unit with an extended 4 year warranty, for ease of installation. Microphone works and callers can hear me clearly.

It was almost a perfect car stereo except the fact that it lacked a knob to turn the volume or as the streets put it "Crank it up"the features that comes with makes any car that is 2002 feel modern with GPS and Bluetooth the only gripe would it be is that you need to wire it in order to enable the GPS because it works with Android auto from your phone. The sound was amazing it basically pushed my stock speakers over the limit that is why if you have an issue that it sounds terrible it's because you're stock speakers aren't capable would highly recommend to check your stock specifications before putting any head unit. The most impressive part about the head unit is the time it takes to load it is only a matter of seconds to connect especially if you connect it to the wire

Recently had purchased a 2007 ford truck. I felt it needed a better stereo. The installer was very helpful and actually recommended a different stereo than the one i bought online, which turned out way better! Also they saved me $160 off the price for the install because he said I didn’t need the PAC stereo wiring harness for my particular vehicle. Which was really cool of him to let me know that before the install. So i ended up getting a better stereo for less money in the end. They did a great job on the install and saved me some money. Would recommend for sure!!

About the product 8 months ago. About a month ago started to get a issue with the screen turning white or it will freeze up on the end NEX loading screen. It will not go to the next stage and it will not play music at all. Told Best buy about the issue they gave me the runaround they wouldn't even take a look at the at the radio. I will never buy a pioneer product ever again nor by anything from Best buy.. I had a horrible experience and I'm stuck with a pioneer radio that does not work...

This stereo lasted barely over 1 year, then it began shutting down and locking up, giving me nothing but a white screen. A few months later, the unit is entirely useless, stereo is nothing but a blank screen and my backup camera is useless. Stay away!!!

Great stereo! On the affordable side and sounds really nice. Only complaint I have is there is no volume knob, but that is because I am old and old fashioned. The beeps are loud when you adjust volume. The screen is responsive and interface is intuitive.
