After zipping around on the Segway Max G3 for over 100 miles in just 20 days, I’ve got plenty to say about this electric scooter. Spoiler alert: it’s a blast to ride, but it’s not without its flaws. The Good: Speed, Build, and Fun Factor This bad boy is a quality-built machine that feels sturdy and screams “I’m ready to roll!” With a top speed of 28 mph (thanks to its 800w motor, peaking at 2000W), it’s no slouch. I recently purchased the Segway Ninebot Max G3, and it has completely exceeded my expectations! My 1st scooter was a segway gl30 which was pretty amazing for cruising. I recently got a G3 which has all the bells and whistles. The build quality is so premium. The lights are bright and there are lights everywhere. Integrated turn signal are very bright and the sounds are pleasing to the ears. The front and rear suspension are so plush. I find myself looking for rough roads just to erase them. I recently upgraded my motorcycle with fox suspension which are pothole erasers. The suspension on the G3 are not that plush but for a scooter, amazing. Plus the fox suspension cost most more than the G3 itself. I can ride until the G3 is dead because it's comfortable. I couldnt do the same on the GL30. The electronics are intuitive and easily to get to. The app is very good and makes connecting to the G3 is quick without connectivity problems. Now be very, very careful with unlocking the sport mode with top speed and boost. If you're not prepared, the G3 will take off without you. This mode is not for children or the elderly. Great thing they they have walk, eco, and drive modes in which you can set and customize speed limits. If you're getting this scooter for a teen, i highly suggest to set speed limts. I highly recommend the Segway G3. If I could buy it again, i would have bought it yesterday. If Segway hit a homerun with the GL30, and G2, they smashed a grand slam with the G3.

I didnt know what to expect when I got the scooter but my expectations were exceeded. First of all its way faster than I expected, it’s pretty big too, which in my opinion is more comfortable but i got this for my wife because im planning on getting the gt3 pro, and after riding this I started questioning if I even need the gt3 pro because this is fine even for me, and im one who usually gets the best of the best. This scooter is more like a vehicle compared to your traditional cheap electric scooter. The boost mode is insanely fast and powerful, I honestly dont know who would even use it. When I first used it the front wheel jumped up because of the power, which i was definitely not expecting. The quality is top tier, and its just a very comfortable premium all around scooter. And after i first rode this I thought to myself , honestly $1000 for this is actually a steal for how good this scooter is. So if youve been eyeing this for a while wondering if it’s good enough for you, trust me it is!

I recently purchased the Segway and love it but I’d say the battery isn’t what it’s advertised as as well as the distance so on Sport I’ve gotten a solid 22 mile range on Drive around 36 miles range I haven’t used eco for long distance as it’s limited to 10 mph overall it’s an absolute incredible machine very agile run on the grass easily I wouldn’t take it off road for someone as big as me I’m 6’5 219 pounds.

had the segway zt3 pro before and this g3 max is a big upgrade. This scooter feels a lot more comfortable off road with thr hydraulic suspension and i did not feel like i was loosing grip on the grass. The boost mode on this is crazy and the wheel pops up every time that i almost lost control and crashed when the wheel went back down. I have been riding for a few days and the range is very good since after 3 days of riding off road and on road at high speeds mostly in sport mode, i still have 68% battery left while with the zt3 pro i would have had to charge already. The zt3 pro does look nicer but i think this scooter looks a lot better than the g2 max.

The Segway G3 Max is easily one of the best electric scooters I’ve ridden. It feels super sturdy without being too heavy, and the ride is incredibly smooth even on rough pavement. The speed and range are perfect for commuting or quick errands — I consistently get great battery life. Setup was simple right out of the box, and the app features are a nice bonus for tracking rides. It also folds easily for storage. If you're looking for a reliable, powerful, and comfortable scooter, the G3 Max is 100% worth it.

I bought it for myself to travel with a friend and the only problem is its range, if it could go longer, then that would be ideal. I'll probably buy an additional accumulator when it comes out. It was also said that the footrest would be quiet, but it was loud and scratched very easily.

Overall quality 9/10 Battery 7/10 they should have put more into the battery for longer commutes or offer an additional external battery for longer distance. YOU WILL NEVER GET 50 MILE RANGE LIKE IT CLAIMS. THIS MIGHT BE TRUE FOR WALKING SPEED MODE. AT BEST IN SPORT MODE I'VE TRAVELED UNDER 20 MILE RANGE. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! Ride quality 10/10 Tech features 7/10 this product only offers tracking of device for Apple, but not Android.

Buy it! I pre-ordered mine for $899 w/ segway bag. So much fun crusing around town or taking to work. Im roughly 230lbs. It handles bumps well and feels super safe not sketchy whatsoever. Very portable. Tons of bells and whistles. This has gotta be one of the BEST electric scooters in this price range for what you get. I have no complaints!

This is currently the best commuter scooter on the market currently, the price is fair and is competitive to other brands. Only reason im not giving it 5 stars is the battery life, and the speed being limited to 20mph.

This quickly became a go to for some quick excitement. It rides very smooth and even goes off-road with no issues for me thus far. The braking is quick. The pick up on it is pretty quick but can be adjusted if you need or want it to.

This is a very nice and well made scooter. It goes 28 mphas and has a good range and charge tie. My son and his friends all have one and they have a blast on them!

Its worth the hype honestly. Great electric scooter and fast charging makes it convenient. I received mine this week and the stability is amazing plus the speed levels are within reason. Looking forward to my local comutes

I liked the scooter I noticed when i was drive a mile batery would drain to about 80% it rode smooth had fun the 2nd day of me having the scooter i got on it hit the throttle it took and didnt want to stop i was hitting breaks let the throttle ago it still was going i jump off it I fractured my elbow and hurt my left wrist i want to get the same one but im scared

Disappointed by the lack of quality control in the manufacturing process behind the Max G3 scooter. 3 key things that were issues: 1. Misaligned LCD Backlight 2. Surface Damage to Power On button 3. Misaligned Disc Brake - Can hear it inconsistently rubbing against brake pads when applying pressure. 4. Power delivery on Boost was erratic - dangerously so.

I love this scoot. I own the GT3 and got the Max G3 for my wife. They are almost the same! Slightly smaller deck, slightly less wattage and slightly less mph with all the same bells and whistles, but still a beast! My only problem is Best Buy duped me on my free accessary. They make it hard for you to see how you are supposed to get one while every other website and store make it very easy. Its plastered everywhere else online except BestBuy. Very small print to click on and you have to seperately bundle it into your cart. I did not realize this until after my purchase when i saw the free promo accessary was not included. Not cool.

Over all I love mine. But the design of the new throttle with thumb and twist grip put me in the hospital. I hit an unexpected bump while accelerating causing the front end to come off the ground I crashed hard. While most of this is my fault the new design of the throttle for sure didn’t help as I couldn’t let off the throttle. Wear a real helmet not a bike Helmet. Now to the actual product it’s built very well almost no damage even though I crashed at 25 mph. Power is great I’m right at the weight limit and it still accelerates plenty fast enough. If you’re heavy like me you will not get anywhere near 25 or 50 miles. Running fast I can get 10-12 miles running max speed. Only reason i removed a star is due to the poor choice with throttle design. I’m getting my wife one if that shows how I feel about the scooter overall.
