The Shark FlexFusion™ Air & Ceramic Styling System comes well packaged in a medium sized box. In the box you have:
- FlexFusion™
- Wet-or-Dry Fusion Brush
- 2, 1.25" Auto-Wrap Curlers
- FrizzFighter™ Finishing Tool
-Styling Concentrator
I used this on both wet and dry hair. It works amazing without heat damage to your hair. Here is the information on the different attachments:
Frizzfighting Finishing Tool - This attachment is used on dry hair and it works fabulously on smoothing frizz and giving my hair a nice shine.
Fusion Brush - Works well drying and straightening hair. you really don’t need a hair straightener. This does the trick. Super impressed with this tool. Seems to give the hair a nice bounce and shine and straightens while you are drying.
Autowrap curler- I can’t believe how well it works on giving your hair a subtle yet full curl! It’s drying your hair and curling it at the same time - mind blown! There’s a bit of a learning curve but once you figure it out the end result is worth it.
Cons - it’s a little heavy and loud and the plug is really big and the cord is super thick.
If you’ve only had a simple hair dryer like me and upgraded to this. It’s a game changer. You have all the tools you need in one piece. Straightener, curler, hair brush and finishing tool. I am sold on this product.
I feel like this product doesn’t dry out my hair either. Not sure how that works.
I give this 5 out of 5 stars. It works wonderfully. It does not seem to damage your hair.

_____
*Pros:
-The rotating function makes drying easier and faster.
-Lightweight and easy on the wrist and arm.
-Convenient set of attachments for different styling needs.
-The buttons for fan speed, heat level, cold hair, and switch from wet hair to dry hair mode all work well.
_____
*Neutral:
-Ergonomics. Button placement didn’t feel natural and comfortable.
-Brush feels big and heavy, making styling feel awkward and challenging.
_____
*Cons:
-The barrels were unable to create nice and bouncy curls.
-At max heat and fan settings, the motor becomes very noisy.
-The defrizz tool does not produce high-gloss or shiny finish on hair.
I got this for my wife, and the Shark FlexFusion set came with a hair dryer wand, two 1.25" auto-wrap curlers, one styling brush, and a defrizz tool. The overall design is sleek, and the attachments were easy to switch around for her different styling needs. The rotating function makes hair drying more time-efficient, and thanks to its impressive lightness, my wife said her wrist or arm never became sore. She also liked the fact that all the buttons were easy to figure out and satisfactorily responsive.
After using it for a week, however, we were not impressed with the product as it didn’t meet our expectations. For instance, she was never able to create nice and bouncy curls as depicted in the product literature. Instead, only loose and wavy ones were produced. She also didn’t like the location and ergonomics of the buttons. When she is styling and curling her hair and holding the wand, the buttons she needs to view and access are located on the opposite and lower side, necessitating constant rotation of the wand to look at the buttons whenever she wanted to check or adjust the heat and fan speed.
Another thing that irked her was the motor noise. When it is set to the highest fan or heat setting, the noise level jumps up dramatically and bothers her.
If only the product produced the type of curls she wanted, then she would be able to more easily overlook some of the annoyances of the product. But as it is, she was disappointed by it.
We tried it on our 9-year-old daughter’s long hair, and the result was the same – some volume, slight waviness, but nothing long-lasting.
=== Is it worth the coin? ===
No, because it failed to create satisfactory and lasting nice curls for my wife’s and daughter’s hair. It does create some volume with a bit of waviness, but the waviness goes away in a few hours. Overall, it does not deliver salon-quality styles as advertised.
I would not recommend this to friends and family.

My hair is thick, wavy, coarse, and a little frizzy. Recently, I decided to get the Shark FlexFusion Air as a potential replacement for my current styling tool. What I find appealing about the Shark FlexFusion is that it addresses the main drawback of my previous tool: the inability to use the dryer as a standalone hair dryer. Like many similar tools, the FlexFusion styling attachments perform much better when your hair is partially dry, the Shark instructions call this “rough dry”. With the push of a button, the FlexFusion barrel rotates, creating a classic gun-shaped blow dryer, allowing me to easily rough dry my hair and get it ready for the styling tools to do their magic!
After my hair is partially dry, I can choose from a nice assortment of tools to finish my style. The Wet-or-Dry Fusion Brush does an excellent job of quickly drying and smoothing my thick, wavy, shoulder-length hair. While the unit includes a cool shot feature, I didn't use it when finishing my style with the brush. There is a handy QR Code printed inside the box lid that took me to an online quiz about my hair type, list the accessories I have, and get video instructions of how to use each tool. The video that gives instructions about how to use the Wet-or-Dry Brush describes the finish this brush gives to wavy hair as a “bouncy blowout”. That is a great description of my hair after using this brush. Drying is fast and effective. I can go from wet to a bouncy style in about 10 minutes. (See picture)
The FlexFusion also comes with two auto-wrap curlers for creating soft curls. I had to switch out these barrels when moving from one side of my head to the other. Because my hair is very thick, it took me longer to curl my hair than if I had used a curling wand. I found that I could only take small sections of hair at a time for curling. Following the instructions, I held each section for about 10 seconds and finished with a cool shot. The curls turned out great and lasted for two days without needing to be touched up. The curls were tighter on the first day, but the soft waves on the second day were still impressive.
Additionally, the Wet-or-Dry Fusion Brush has a heated section that can refresh your hair on its second day without washing it or smooth out a ponytail dent, which worked well for me. The package also comes with a Styling Concentrator, which can be used to target air onto a flat brush or round brush for a smooth finish. Unlike other air concentrators that I have used, this one rotates independently from its connection to the unit. This made rotation for precise air control much easier than some of my past hair dryers. The set also includes a Frizz-fighter Finishing Tool. The tool was easy to use and with a few swipes down the top of my hair, I was convinced that my hair was indeed smoother and had less flyaways. I cannot figure out what is so “magic” about this device…so maybe I am just imagining less frizz.
However, there are a few negatives:
- The instructions are printed on the box, so you can no longer access them once you throw away the box.
- The air intake covers a large band at the bottom of the device, where you are supposed to grip the FlexFusion. I hope to adjust my expectations over time, but for now, I find the grip position on the barrel to be cumbersome.
- The power cord is quite thick, likely due to the power of the FlexFusion. It reminds me of a clothes dryer or large appliance cord, making it unwieldy to wrap up and store in my drawer or cabinet.
Overall, I am enjoying the Shark FlexFusion Styling and Drying system. There are additional accessories that can be purchased for use with the base product, and I will most likely be adding the diffuser to my collection. The FlexFusion improves upon my current tool and adds capabilities I didn’t have before, in a compact and well-built package. If you’re looking for a do-it-all tool that can dry and style your hair, give the FlexFusion a look.

An Almost Perfect All-In-One Hairstyling Tool

The Shark FlexFusion Air and Ceramic Styling System is a pretty versatile hairstyling system for wet or dry hair. Included in the kit I received were two 1.25 auto-wrap curlers, the wet/dry Fusion brush, the FrizzFighter finishing tool and the styling concentrator. There is also an attachment to straighten hair, but I did not receive that for review.
Let’s get into the pros and cons of how well this product and whether it might be the right hairstyling product for you.
Pros:
The Shark FlexFusion dries towel dried hair fairly well when using the included wet/dry brush, but the swivel blow-dryer isn’t going to replace a full sized unit for thicker haired people.
The Scalp Shield mode is a great feature and will protect your hair and scalp from extreme temperatures. Using this feature does limit the temperature of the device and seems to increase drying time.
The auto-curlers are great and work well. Curls were retained well into the day and hair felt voluminous after use.
The Fusion brush is a fantastic way to comb out tangles while air drying your hair. This is my most used attachment.
The FrizzFighter finishing tool is great for catching those flyaways, but also for touching up hair that’s already dry.
The styling concentrator is a good tool for spot drying, but it’s my least used tool of the set.
Generous 2-year warranty.
Cons:
As just a blow-dryer, the Shark FlexFusion isn’t very impressive, especially if you have thick hair. Transforming the unit into it’s blow-drying mode is easy, though, and it would work well enough as a travel hair dryer.
The unit can be a little awkward to operate depending on what attachment you’re using, but it’s versatile enough that most users will find a way to hold it that’s comfortable to them.
Overall:
The Shark FlexFusion Air and Ceramic Styling System is a system that could potentially replace several other hairstyling devices, however this versatility means a few trade-offs. It’s jack of all trades, but not truly a master of any. If you have very thick hair, I would recommend keeping a higher end blow-dryer around for your drying needs, but almost every other tool in your hairstyling arsenal could be replaced by the FlexFusion.

I picked up the Shark FlexFusion hair styler/dryer for my wife. She has used it the last few weeks, and is constantly talking about how amazing this all-in-one device is for drying, styling, and curling her hair. My wife has long, thin hair, and she is very attached to it. As in, it is one of her defining traits. She must have beautiful hair all the time, and she spends a lot of time (and money) on maintaining her hair glossy and silky. When she wakes up in the morning, oftentimes it is difficult for her to find the time to style her hair, other than just wearing it straight. On occasion, she’ll get up early to curl it, but it is a hassle because she has to shower, dry it, and then curl it. Enter the Shark FlexFusion… An all-in-one device that has sped up her hair care and styling processes enough in the mornings that she is almost always able to curl her hair before leaving.
With the Shark FlexFusion, you can use the hot air function and blow dry your hair (there is a scalp shield mode that can be turned on to ensure that the scalp is not accidentally damaged from excess heat), or you can attach any number of styling attachments to treat your hair differently. For example, there is a wet/dry fusion brush that can add body and waves, an anti-frizz attachment for those who might have a challenge with hair kind of going everywhere, and two auto-wrap attachments that allow for curling hair. That’s right, no need to use the ‘old school’ curling irons where you have to heat them up, clamp them on to your hair and roll, hoping that you’re not burning or damaging hair.
It is honestly this last function of the FlexFusion that my wife loves the absolute most. She does use the standard drying function and on occasion uses the Fusion Brush assembly; but her favorite function of the FlexFusion is the auto-wrap curling. The FlexFusion comes with two barrel attachments (one for the left, one for the right side) that utilize warm air to pull the hair down over the barrel and curl it. The ease at which a full head of hair is curled is astonishing when compared to the old-school method of using a curling iron. My wife gushes on and on about how easy the process is to style her hair with curls now, and does it almost every morning.
When comparing the cost of the Shark FusionFlex all-in-one with separate components purchase to do the same thing, the FusionFlex is a bit of a no-brainer. My wife and I were comparing the cost of a nice curling iron and hair dryer alone, purchased separately, and it can be close to the cost of the FlexFusion styler. But then add in the Fusion Brush attachment, the Frizz Fighter attachment, and the Styling Concentrator attachment and the value of the FusionFlex far outpaces what you would have to pay to purchase everything separately.
Bottom line is, my wife loves the Shark FlexFusion and I consider it a wonderful investment. She is able to style it the way she wants to every morning without having to spend a ton of time on it.

The Shark FlexFusion and Ceramic Style and Dry system is an all in one hair system for everyone.
I have 3 females in my house and all have long hair, (just ask my vacuum… also a shark) They have bought and donated lots of curlers, hair dryers and straighteners that have not delivered what they promised. We decide to try this system and they are now fighting over it. I guess I'm going to have to pick up another one. They used the QR code to watch very detailed videos of how to operate each of the attachments. The Ultra fast Hair dryer with scalp shield, Dry and style at different temps, Auto wrap curlers that can use hot or cold, faster drying and 50% less frizz. This is not an advertising gimmick. My girls can attest. They were amazed at how their hair felt and no frizz.
The all in one base that rotates from dryer to styler is perfect for travel as well.
My wife works at a beauty college and more than half of the students and instructors use shark products. This alone attests to the quality of this product and the brand. With all the well thought out attachments makes this a great system without having three separate tools.
If you need a great all in one haircare set, look no further. This is the go to product.
I would definitely recommend this to family and friends

Great, But Not Suggested for Shorter Hair

When I saw that the Shark - FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System with Scalp Shield Mode was available, I was intrigued. I have a number of Shark products such as vacuums, fans, & heaters and find them extremely well designed, well built, easy to use and very functional. When I read that this FlexFusion system was for any length of hair and that there was a brush attachment to the hair dryer, I decided to give it a try. It would be nice to be able to use one tool to style my hair.
Upon receipt, I opened the box and was a little taken aback. First, in the box, all the women shown using the product had very long hair. My hairdo is a relatively short bob. When I lifted the pictured pages covering the product, I found what I consider to be an extremely large wand, which is the hair dryer to which accessories attach. Then I looked at the brush attachment and couldn't even conceive of how I would use this huge brush for my hair. Everything looked like it was made for a giant.
I took the FlexFusion system upstairs to my bathroom, went and washed and toweled my hair and tried to give the dryer and brush a try. The dryer portion of the hair dryer wand pivots around to make an angle, like a regular hair dryer. However, once I attached the brush attachment to this configuration, I couldn't make sense of how this would work. I had to straighten the dryer wand again to get the brush in what I felt was a logical orientation, but at this point I found the whole setup so cumbersome and illogical that I gave up. There was no way I was going to be able to use this setup for my hairstyle.
I dryed my hair my normal way and then called my sister. She has shoulder length hair that she like to put some fluff and bounce into and I asked her to come over and give the FlexFusion a try. She washed her hair before she came over and it was still damp when she got upstairs to give it a whirl. It took a minute to look over the instructional pictures on the box and to get a feel for the different attachments. She started with the brush attachment and started at her roots to give her hair some lift. She was gleeful with the results, even though she felt the hair dryer wand was a bit awkward. She played with it for a while and was very happy at what she was seeing.
Then she went and tried the other attachments. It was fun watching her use the Autowrap Curlers to add corkscrew curls at the front of her face. They really do wrap your hair around the curler automatically, if you start from the ends and just move the wand on a slight angle towards your scalp. To release the curl, you just pull the wand down the way you came up. That was very cool. Still you have to use the left curler on the left side and the right curler on the right to make sure that your curls are symmetrical on each side.
All in all, my sister using this Shark - FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System with Scalp Shield Mode saved the day. I really was going to give it a not so good review from my experience; but, seeing her using it successfully and happily totally changed my perspective. I just wouldn't suggest using it for relatively short, smooth and slightly curved hair. You would be better off with a regular hair dryer and vent brush.
Yes, I would definitely suggest this Shark - FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System for those with longer hair and the need for either curling it or smoothing it.

This is a fantastic hairdryer for both wet to dry and dry styling. It dries very quickly without making my hair feel damaged or dry. It leaves a nice shine, smooth texture, and adds bounciness to my ends. It has multiple heat and fan speed settings to customize your dry, but I like that it starts by auto selecting those settings for you based on what function you are using, which you can change if needed. I like the dryer on its own without the attachments, and I like that it has a scalp saver option that is great for a quick rough dry without overheating my scalp. I like the round brush attachment the best. I’ve never been good with using a round brush, but this is very easy to use. It gives great texture to my hair and limits the amount of post-dry styling that I need to do. I also like using this on day 2 or 3 hair to revive and refresh my style without feeling damaging or dry. I am giving this product 4 stars because of the curling wand attachments. I was most excited to try these, but they haven’t given me the type of curl that I like (it comes out in more of a ringlet style, I prefer a loose wave) and the curl doesn’t last long. My hair typically doesn’t hold curl very well, and I probably need to practice using this attachment more, but I find I get better, longer lasting curls with my high quality curling iron than using this tool. Overall a great product that I will continue to use.

Another hit by Shark. My daughter really likes this combo pack. All the attachments do a great job especially the brush. She likes how you can adjust the temperature and speed. The only thing wishing was different was if the air wrap attachments were longer for longer hair, but not enough to take away from an excellent rating. She has long straight hair and the straightener is exactly what she has been looking for. When she goes with the curls, this does as described. This unit is still outstanding for any real length of hair. Having everything in a one stop shop if you will is a huge plus. Plus this works well equally for both wet and dry hair with the FlexFusion features. The dryer is just the right amount of power. The price point is what it is, but this can absolutely keeps up and even exceeds the other big name products like this and you save a considerable amount. This is a well built pack of accessories and if this passes the testing by a 21 year old college student, then I would say to Shark, don't change a thing!

My wife travels frequently giving seminars and has to be very presentable at the front of the room while going from city to city in one week. For her birthday this year, I thought I would get her a hair care system that wasn’t as bulky or heavy as the one she uses at home. I’m familiar with Shark products, so I decided to stick with that brand. After she used it a couple of times, I asked her for an honest opinion. The general reply I got, was that it does a good job considering its weight and size. Both are very important when traveling between multiple cities and setting it up in various hotels. It’s good at drying hair but can be noticeably noisy at the high settings. It comes with all the expected attachments and each one of them functions well from drying to styling to curling.
FEATURES:
· Main body rotates/swivels from drier to styler.
· Length of A/C Cord, 8 feet
· Includes “Finishing Tool” to add a high-gloss shine after drying.
· Styles wet hair with no heat damage.
· Re-styles dry hair without re-washing.
· Hi velocity flow for drying with less heat.
· Styling Concentrator for spot air styling where you want it.
· Measures and regulates output temperature 1000 times per second so it never exceeds 230 Degrees F.
· 1.25 inch diameter Auto-wrap Curlers.
· 2-year Limited Warranty
PROS:
· Attachments give lots of versatility.
· Can take you from quite wet to properly dried hair without switching devices.
CONS:
- Of course you can’t dry without heat, but use with care. Even with what they call “Scalp Shield”, it gets pretty hot at Hi settings. Use common sense and you should be OK.
- Quite noisy at Hi fan settings. Could wake some people up in a small dorm.
- I wish it came with a large Diffuser and a carrying case.
CONCLUSION:
I consider it to be a travel system. In this case, low weight and bulk, but good performance was very important and under those criteria, it does very well.

Nice multi-function Hair Drying & Styling System!

The Shark FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling and Drying System provides a lot of functionality in one package. Following are my observations after using this system:
- This Drying System is multi-functional. It dries wet hair, is able to restyle dry hair and curls hair.
- The system comes with a concentrator attachment to direct air, a wet/dry Fusion Brush, a Frizz Fighter smoothing attachment and a 1.25" auto wrap curling attachment.
- It has a scalp shield temperature adjustment, which is a nice feature if you have a sensitive scalp.
- I like the fact that this tool was designed to reduce damage to your hair from heat sources.
- The design of the dryer is sleek and lightweight, when used in a rotated position as a blow dryer with the concentrator attachment.
- This blow dryer is quieter than other blow dryers I've used.
- The dryer is compact and easy to hold and use, with air flow and temperature buttons.
- Having naturally curly hair makes it somewhat frizzy when I blow it out without using a flat iron. The Frizz Fighter attachment did help to smooth out the frizz. This is a unique attachment I have not seen before.
- The curling brush also worked well to smooth out my hair, much like using a round brush with a blow dryer.
- In order to use the curling wands and brush, the dryer has to be rotated back into a straight position. When the attachments are added, I find that it becomes somewhat long and heavy.
Overall, I like all the functionality that is included, The Frizz Fighter, the weight when in the rotated dryer position, the reduced drying time compared to other dryers, the quietness, and the temperature and air controls. I would recommend the Shark - FlexFusion Styling and Drying System.

My wife and daughter have completely different hair types: one has short, curly hair, while the other has long, straight hair. They both tried out the Shark Flex Fusion and were happy with the results. They mentioned how convenient it was to have various attachments that made styling their hair easy, even within a limited time. It is easy to switch out the attachments based on their styling needs. This is good because it cuts down on clutter, because there is no need for multiple styling tools when one tool can do it all. There is a switch that allows for both wet and dry hair modes, which helps protect the hair against heat damage. The hair dryer itself is lightweight and comfortable to hold. The only drawback they noticed was that the cord and plug was thick and bulky. While this didn’t affect its overall usage, it did make storage a bit less convenient. All in all my wife and daughter absolutely love the product and would highly recommend to anyone interested. It is one of the best hair styling products that they have ever used.

The Shark FlexFusion is best describes as a hair multi tool that combines styling and drying features in one device. Shark FlexFusion feels solid and not cheap which is always a good sign. The Shark FlexFusion weighs 1.5 pounds, iis intuitive to use, but it takes some time to get used to how to use the various attachments.
My wife does not have dandruff issues so she did not really use or need the Scalp Shield mode. However if you are trying to be careful with your Scalp, the Scalp Shield Mode should protect the scalp while using the FlexFusion.
The different attachments that come with the FlexFusion take time to get used to. They are easy to attach and remove. The brush should be used in hair that has already been detangled. If not, you might have a hard time running the brush through your hair. You will select between the dry or wet hair modes to ensure you don’t damage wet hair. The brush and hair curler were my wife’s favorite attachments and those two items allow her to style her hair in a variety of ways.
The FlexFusion is an excellent all-in-one solution for those looking to streamline their hair care routine. The only drawback is that it can get very noisy when using. If you always blow dry your hair, this might not be an issue. But for those that don’t blow dry their hair every day, this will become an annoyance. At the end of the day, having a singular tool with multiple attachments to handle most of your hair style needs is excellent, especially when you are travelling.

The Shark FlexFusion Air with Ceramic Styling & Drying System and Scalp Shield Mode is an exceptionally versatile tool that comes with a variety of attachments to replace multiple styling tools. With just one system, you can dry, straighten, curl, volumize, and smooth your hair while only occupying one electrical outlet.
Some key points are:
- Wet and Dry Use: Unlike traditional tools, the FlexFusion Air can be used on both wet and dry hair, making the transition from damp to styled hair seamless.
- Efficiency: It excels in taking your hair from wet to styled, curled, or straightened quickly, although the curls might not last as long, which is potentially a trade-off for its rapid styling capabilities.
- Compact Design: The handheld unit is significantly smaller than its predecessors, but the thicker, more cumbersome power cord and transformer can offset these gains.
- Blow Drying: Despite its compact size, it performs remarkably well as a blow dryer, beating out larger models available.
- Scalp Shield Mode: This feature ensures the unit doesn’t exceed a certain temperature, protecting your scalp from excessive heat.
- FrizzFighter Tool: The included FrizzFighter attachment effectively tames flyaways and static, leaving your hair smooth and polished.
All in all, the Shark FlexFusion Air is a fantastic package for anyone looking to dry, style, shape, straighten, or curl wet hair efficiently. Its versatility and performance make it a worthy addition to your hair care arsenal.

The Shark FlexFusion is a complete hair care and styling product. It can be used as a sleek and effective blow dryer, or you can add attachments for many styling options. For curling, there are separate barrels for both right and left twirling curling attachments that self-roll or wrap your hair around the barrel so that there is no manual wrap. All you need to do is comb out some strands of hair, hold the curling attachment to the hair, and the FlexFusion automatically twirls and dries the hair. It is super easy to use, especially for someone like me who rarely uses and blow dryer and has never used a curling wand. There is also a cool shot feature which protects against heat damage to your hair.
The Fusion Brush has a ceramic heating surface and powerful airflow to style wet or dry hair. There is a scalp shield that you can activate to adjust the temperature and protect your scalp from extreme heat. If you want smooth, straight, glossy hair, a Frizzfighter attachment helps you achieve this look. Finally, a styling concentrator attachment allows you to provide a flat, concentrated flow of air to give you ultimate control.
The step-by-step photos and instructions are straightforward to follow, and a QR code takes you to videos that walk you through all the options.
The Shark FlexFusion makes drying my hair and creating a variety of hairstyles easy for me to feel polished and confident.

The Shark - FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System is a must-have for the women in your house, they will absolutely love it. From blowdrying to curling it does it all. There are also numerous other things they can do with it as well.
So let's start this out with what's great, number one it comes with so many different attachments so, make sure you have a place to store them all so you're able to grab one and switch them out, which by the way is very easy to do. Once you have everything out of the box, you're ready to go.
As previously stated there are so many different variations that you can do, you can either blow dry, you can curl, can straighten, you can brush it out. It is your choice. Every attachment is very easy to install and remove. The curling attachment works so amazing, that you won't believe that it's not an actual curling iron doing the work the curls can be tight or loose and bouncy.
Overall this item is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who has long enough hair to style in any shape or fashion this is the gift for them.
