Lovely little compact stereo. I still have a large CD collection and needed a small system. This one fills the bill! It has excellent sound. I've only had it a few weeks but so far so good. This type of multi disc stereo is nearly impossible to fine so I am delighted to be able to play my music again. As a bonus, it has Bluetooth which allows you to stream music, too! That was unexpected! Enjoy!

I own several Sharp products already in my arsenal of electronic gadgets, GX-M10, BT-9 and a T.V. but this Micro Hi-fi shelf system is by far the best Sharp product I Have ever experienced!! I have several other music systems by such brands as Fluance, Sony,Altec Lansing and Riva so when I make this statement it's with a qualified EAR for sound quality, something a audiophile or music lover will appreciate.I didn't expect this kind of performance from a micro system ( this isn't my first one btw) simply outstanding!! The soundstage is immersive,the highs are airy and silky without the tinging you may experience from lower quality speakers, the vocals are up front where they should be and the bass response is quick and full and not over boosted, perfectly balanced. The design is elegant and well built especially the finish on the speakers, this is probably the best micro- system in this class of audio equipment for the price, you would really have to make a significant financial investment in high end bookshelf speakers and separate components to achieve a distinct level of the listening experience this Sharp micro- system offers, I'm truly impressed... Well done SHARP!!

Okay, so I'm an old lady (65, thank you very much), and I had this thing out of the box and hooked up in short order. I have it cranked with my personal favorite litmus test, Steve Earle's "Copperhead Road." I gotta tellya: For the money and its size, this is one great little unit. That bottom end is nice and thumpy, the highs clear and sparkly, and Steve Earle's growl is perfectly growly. If you've still got a stack of cd's you aren't ready to dump yet, get yourself one of these. Much groovy awesomness.

The sound is so much greater than I expected from a small bookshelf unit. It fits perfectly exactly where I wanted to place it. Some functions can only be done by using the remote but not a problem. The remote works fine and does what is designed to do. Haven’t figured out how to mix the selections on CDs but the directions are clear when I am ready to use that function. Very happy with the unit.

This Sharp 5 Disc Micro System has surprisingly great quality sound. If you didn’t know the size of the unit, you certainly wouldn’t know by the sound. It sounds sooo good. I’m really enjoying it. I like how the discs are loaded in front! Yes, it holds and plays 5 discs! It is easy to set up and use. It’s a perfect size for the shelf in my entertainment unit. I’m so pleased with this purchase!

This is a great little stereo system so far - it holds and plays up to 5 CDs, AM/FM radio, Bluetooth (to play music or even audiobooks from the phone), and it has a compact size, so it is just what was needed. Really good sound quality, wouldn’t know it’s such a small unit. Haven’t used the USB, audio in, or headphone jacks yet but imagine they also will work very well. The only potential drawback is that the main part is at least 3 inches deeper than the speakers, which meant I had to arrange it a little differently than I would have liked. Super pleased with this purchase and would recommend this stereo.

I was very surprised at how good this sounds.. Got it to replace an old mini shelf system that was failing, needed something to play LP's, CD's and Radio, plus got modern convenience of Bluetooth and USB music playback! This 50 watt system is very powerful, and much clearer sound compared to the old one. Bass can be turned up to thump.. it's deceiving how big the sound coming out of this small shelf system can be. I bought an Insignia 6' mini jack to RCA cable with a set of Insignia RCA couplers to hook up the turntable as the audio input is in the front (see picture), no RCA inputs in the back. Absolutely no background noise. 5 CD changer, full function remote that you don't have to point right at the system, this continues to amaze me. You'll need 2 AAA batteries for the remote.

At first I thought it doesnt soubd to high but when I tried it at my house the sound was Awesome... in every way is Excellent

Fits my needs perfectly. 5 CD capability, not too big, good sound. Additional functions (blue tooth to phone, AM FM radio, USB port) a real bonus! Had no luck finding anything but boom boxes online so was very happy to find this at my local Best Buy.

Great stereo component system. I love the smaller size but it does not interfere with the sound, the fm radio picks up several stations in my area. Also, there is the cd option, with a 5 cd changer. Great price for all it’s features.

I love my little Sharp 5 CD changer. It's a perfect size and serves my needs perfectly. I have a large CD collection which I am not ready to give. Thanks

Love the way it looks. Seems like a good value. Was dead on arrival: The CD changer says No Disc in all five slots. I called Sharp and customer service was helpful in troubleshooting and resetting the unit, but that didn’t fix the problem. Rather than RMA a brand new item, I am returning it to Best Buy. Sharp needs to work on its quality control.

Easy set-up, nice compact system with good fidelity and components. The CD trays are a little delicate and can only be open and closed using the remote. However, be gentle and the system works just fine.

I loved the system. The volume is awesome. The bass is perfect,coming from small speakers. I would recommend this system for someone,who listens to music alot.
