Customers are positive about the sound quality, comfort, battery life, open-ear design, fit, bone conduction, and lightweight features of the OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones. They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology.
On the other hand, customers are negative about the volume, bass, price, connectivity, and microphone. They feel the volume could be louder, the bass is lacking, the price is high, the connectivity is unstable, and the microphone could be improved for better call quality.

Great audio quality, exceeded expectations! Keeps ears healthy, open, & dry. Mic is great BUT susceptible to wind noise, fyi. Perfect for walking, running, and cycling!
+2 stars: Mostly sweatproof! Not totally waterproof though..
+2 stars: Audio quality greatly exceeds expectation, especially compared to older Openrun and to other sports-style headphones & earbuds!
+1 star: Battery life is fantastic!!!
-1 star: fit is too tight on my very large head, clamps tightly
-1 star: headband broke after 15 months of heavy use
-1 star: microphones should be improved to eliminate wind noise!
+2 stars: excellent customer service! Called Shokz & they are sending me a replacement pair after 15 months of use broke the headband.
Overall great BUT especially if you have a larger head, look at the **brand new Openrun Pro2** that just came out - supposed to be better in all respects *AND* have reduced clamping force on your head!

For my particular needs these are the greatest headphones I've ever used. If your intent is to listen to music then there are definitely better choices to be had, but if you're like me and use the headset more for podcast or phone calls than look no further. The sound quality and volume are both adiquit enough to clearly make out whatever you choose to listen to. The microphone works extremely well, but where these really shine is with the level of comfort and the phenomenal battery life. I work in IT and am constantly answering calls or listening to podcasts all day long and never have to take them off due to discomfort or need to recharge. I actually own two pairs of these and never shut them off. I just swap them out on the charger in the morning before I go to work and the battery easily lasts until the same time the next day.

I love this headset! Once you've used a bone conduction headset, you won't want anything else. It uses the bones in your head to transmit the sound, leaving your ears open to hear ambient sound so it's safer for driving because you can still hear the important sounds around you. An added bonus is comfort. Instead of wearing something inside your ear, these wrap around your ears and rest in front of your ears. The sound quality is great. You can talk on the phone, listen to music, etc. You can also answer/hang up the phone from the headset. It has a pretty great range too. I can wear them all over my house and they connect to my phone without any problems. In short, I'll never go back to using traditional ear buds. These are way better!

I have pretty small ear holes and so earbuds easily fall out but with these being bone conduction they never fall off even when skateboarding and they allow me to hear my surroundings so I can stay active and safe I forget they are on my head at times because of how confortable they are and the battery life of 10 hours is more than enough to last me the day and it charges so fast I can take a shower and it will be at 100 I would definitely recommend this item to anybody

Sound is impressive for an open ear headset. Bluetooth connection is seamless.
I wish it could support more than one device (i.e. be connected to more than one device at the same time and you toggle between them to choose which one is active).
My only complaint is that it is big. I should have gone for the smaller one for a snug compact fit. Even so this fits comfortably and I often forget that I have it on. I have it on together with my glasses with minimal adjustment.
The battery lasts almost the whole day with heavy use. I've used longer lasting earpieces. On the flip side, it is fast charging. Ful charge in 10-15mins.

Real Estate Professional here. I walk into vacant home un-announced multiple times a day. Need to keep my wits about me! These headphones make that happen. You can press the button on the side and answer calls, activate Google Assistant (or Siri if Apple is your thing) to make phone calls, send text messages, etc. I even found an app that reads my notifications aloud so I never have to take my phone out of my pocket unless I want to see something on the screen. I was worried about sound quality but, after trying them, they greatly exceeded my expectations for the scenario I needed them for! . No complaints here! Even the call quality is more than acceptable. Battery life lasts me all day and into the next. Liked these so much I went out and bought the Opencomm 2 UC version for my zoom/google meet calls in the office. Awesome concept! You'll probably want a pair of Noise cancelling (ANC) headphones for those times you want to block out the world but, for the times you need to be aware of what's going on around you, these are the ticket!

My Favorite Solution for Mountain Biking

I use these to mountain bike and they're the best solution to having music on the trail that I've found. I also like using them when working in the yard, as I like to still be aware of my surroundings. THINGS I LIVE BEST: 1) Comfort - the thinness around the ear makes wearing these, plus sunglasses, more comfortable than any other earphones I've used 2) Battery life is excellent - I've had plenty of battery left after 5 to 6 hour rides. Recharging is quick, too. 3) The controls are very easy to use. Better than my previous Bose and Airpods. 4) They stay where they're supposed to. WHAT COULD BE BETTER: 1) The sound quality diminishes once you get into the upper end of the volume. Not a huge deal because the whole point of these is to hear music and what's going on around you, so I don't use high volume unless I'm on a MTB only downhill only trail. My Bose that used similar technology had better sound but the part that wraps around your ear was bulky and caused pain and battery life wasn't good. 2) The carrying case is bulky enough that it would be great if you could charge these in the case itself. Seems it would be easy to build that into a case of this size. Yes, it would increase cost but I'd pay it. OVERALL: I've tried several brands and styles and these are my favorite. When you're on a bike for several hours, comfort, battery life and ease of operation get high priority. These check all the boxes. I'm a fan.

I have had my Shokz Open Run Pro headphones for 4 months now. I love these headphones. I use them at work in my hospital and kept in the on mode with no music on sometimes. When I get a call, the conversation is crisp and clear both from the headphones and microphone. I am heard well under an operating room mask with no problems. When I am watching a video or listening to music, the sound is amazing. The advantage of these non conduction headphones is I can hear when somebody wants my attention. The battery lasts all day and I sometimes charge them every other day since it’s good for at least 2 days of use. The headphones are comfortable and sometimes I forget they are on. I love these and highly recommend them.

My opinion

Having worn these day after day for about a month I’ve noticed a few things that I’d like to expand upon. First of all comfort, They take some getting used to in the beginning as you’ll get a tickle on your cheek bones with bass or other loud noises. If worn too much I notice an uncomfortable ache in my ear that’s probably from the pressure and vibration that I’m not accustomed to. Then there’s sound quality. In noisy areas they are almost useless, I’ve found having an ear plug in or just sticking my finger in my ear helps the bone conduction relay the sound to my ear drum, again for noisy areas. When in a generally noise free area the headphones work great. When talking on the phone I’ve noticed the microphones limit the background noise making your voice #1. If you’re in the bathroom the person on the other end might hear an echo. I can wear them all day without needing a charge. I listen to podcasts, books, news and social media. I’ve even used them at work where “headphones aren’t allowed” and gotten a pass from the boss because they leave my ears open to my environment. Overall they have a great look and they wear really well. If you’re looking for an open ear concept this is the brand for sure.

I work remote and I am on calls 80% of my day. This headset has saved me from headaches and not feel like I constantly have headphones on. They are light weight, the sound is awesome and the people on the other end cannot hear a thing in my background. I tested this to the max including running a vacuum. 100000% better than airpods or beats. The battery lasts me all day and I’m sure the next bit I always charge it at the end of the day. They also come with a hard shell protective case, high quality! I can easily swap fe my phone to my computer with a click, no more fighting with air pods with connecting to the wrong device and having to remove. I can’t say enough good things about my Shokz pro!

My favorite headphones of all time! I got them Christmas '23 and they hardly ever come off my head. Charge lasts so so long, so comfortable that I forget that they are on sometimes. I wish I had got the mini version because there is a little gap behind my head that bumps stuff sometimes (headrest in car), and makes wearing a beanie or hoodie less comfortable. The issue will not be an issue for most of the year in Texas so it's not a big deal. Sound quality is ok-good, def not excellent. They are not in your ear so they don't get loud enough to drown out other sounds sometimes. Call quality is good and people have no idea that I'm not holding the handset to my face. I would 100% purchase them again if I lost or broke them, the only change I would make is buying the Mini for my head size. I also 100 % recommend them as long as you don't need noise canceling. If you want all day comfort and all day battery then these things are for you!
A Magical Experience with Shokz OpenRun Pro Premiu

This headphone is a unique audio marvel that superbly combines technology, design, and comfort. If you're seeking an audio experience that feels like magic, these headphones should definitely be on your radar.
Comfort-wise, the Shokz OpenRun Pro headphones really excel. They are lightweight, ergonomic, and sit comfortably on your head. Whether you're going for a jog or doing an intense workout, there's no risk of them falling out. They stay put, no matter how much you move around.
However, they aren't without their flaws. One noticeable drawback is the lack of personalization options. While they fit snugly and are generally comfortable, there's no option to adjust them for a more personalized fit, which might be a concern for some users.
Additionally, while they work flawlessly in most environments, headphone has shown some connection issues in crowded places. This seems to be due to signal interference, causing occasional disruptions to the audio stream. While it's not a deal-breaker, it's something to keep in mind if you often find yourself in densely populated areas.
In conclusion, the Shokz OpenRun Pro offer a unique and immersive audio experience that feels like magic. Their comfort and security are unmatched, making them an excellent choice for sport and fitness enthusiasts. The few shortcomings, like lack of personalization and some connection issues, prevent them from being perfect, but they're certainly an innovative and worthwhile purchase for those seeking a unique auditory experience.

I bought these headphones at Best Buy because I was tired of the traditional ones that have a cord and the Bluetooth ones too, they hurt my ears. These are great because they are lightweight ,sometimes I don't feel like I have them on and my ears don't hurt. So I can bend over and move around and jump around and they don't move off my head. The battery lasts me two days.

I always had an issue with my headphones I would always have to buy the ones I go over your ear and I’m not really comfortable with that just because I have a piercing inside my ear. When I had the opportunity to listen to music close to my ear without the ability to damage my ear drums. I have used AirPods and with my piercing I had to move it and it ended up having a small soreness when I removed them. I tried the EarPods Pro and they never seemed to stay in my ears. It’s SUPER comfortable and has great sound quality and if you have a lot of base in your music it gives off a vibration on your sides and tickets a bit but it’s awesome. BEST purchase I’ve made with amazing battery life.

My search for headphones/earbuds while I work is finally over! The audio during phone calls is phenomenal, music audio is sufficient, & they are ideal when working while you sweat.
I love the fact that I no longer have to worry about adjusting them every few seconds because they keep moving around in my ear. The open ear design is truly liberating to combat the constant frustration that I just mentioned.
Battery life & bluetooth pairing/connecting get two thumbs up for how accessible & reliant this product is.
If you are looking for a pair of headphones/earbuds that are truly hands/worry free, these are the pair to get.

These Shokz - OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones are the best headphones ever. Very comfortable, easy to use, lightweight and great sound. It comes with a protective case. One simple button to answer and hang up calls. The volume up and down buttons also turn it on and off. Its hard to believe, that something that doesn't go in or over your ears, has such great sound. The charging cord is so easy to use. The charging end is magnetic so it just snaps on. When u charge it, a red light comes on. Then, when it's fully charged, a blue light comes on. They are lightweight. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing them.

As someone who's constantly juggling skateboarding sessions and taking care of my kids, the OpenRun Pro headphones have been a real asset.
Open-Ear Comfort: The design is so comfortable, I often forget I'm wearing them. It's crucial for me to hear my surroundings, whether I'm at the skatepark or with my kids at home.
Ease of Use: The 10-hour battery life means I don't have to worry about charging them in the middle of a busy day. Plus, the quick charge feature is a lifesaver when I'm short on time.
Durability: These headphones are built to last. They've held up through countless skateboarding sessions and the usual chaos that comes with parenting.
For me, the OpenRun Pro headphones have proven to be incredibly practical and reliable, making them well worth the investment.

Excellent headphones. Very unique and comfortable design. I bought one of their earlier products many years ago for cycling and it was ok, used to feel some minor vibrations but this is a much improved product.
This "open-ear" design is a game changer for outdoor activities, perfect for an audio book or music while you are outside. Also, I have started using them for phone calls at work and on the go, much more comfortable than airpods pro or similar products, which obviously go inside your ear.
Love the case too.
The sound volume levels might not be as good as in conventional headphones but these things are super useful for certain environments.

So, this is the experience you get when a ghost whispers in your ears. No bulky contraption hanging off your head, nothing clogging your ears, but still producing great sound (I know audiophiles that purchase gold plated cables would disagree). I love it. You totally forget you have it on while out on a run. Not ideal for use in a club. Not because of the alcohol, but the fact your ears are open to external noise. It also seamlessly connects to second Bluetooth devices.
