This TV is amazing. I went with the A75L over the A80L due to the price savings of $200 at the time, and WOW I am blown away. The A75L and A80L have the same panel, same Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HLG, they have the same exact panel, same processor, same size, this is a newer chassis. The speaker on this A75L model is GREAT! I am not an audio expert, but I did research about the differences between these two. The A75L features two actuators, two bass reflex speakers and uses Acoustic Surface Audio. 10W+10W+10W+10W = 40W speaker system. This is actually really good, and I have been watching content, playing video games, and the bass is still good, does not sound tinny like some cough cough* samsung tv's that are marked down in price. I use the TV with my PC I built in 2021 that has an RTX 3080 10GB FE, that displays all my games at 4K 90fps - 110fps sometimes hitting that 120FPS so this TV is a gift from God! I really enjoy my content and games. The blacks are black, the color is pure, the sound is still really good, its Sony! They still spoil you on a cheaper TV they sell :D This TV has an option when you set it up to go Basic mode or Extra mode with all the TV apps - since I have devices ( PC and Switch) I plug into this thing I don't need it to spend RAM doing background stuff, and you can turn off the smart features. ( I love this! It actually keeps youtube and netflix, and prime video as the only apps that work in Basic mode, and I just use youtube for small things and then my devices of course for the rest! Great feature Sony! ) This TV is amazing. My first Sony TV I have ever bought, since I have a new adult Job I saved up and bought this to replace a 14 month old Samsung TV that broke after buying in 2022 :( It lasted a little over a year, and the Samsung 50" 4K AU8000KF or something like that just broke after 1 year of using, the backlight burned out. I opened the TV and repaired the part. It still would not turn on. I had to recycling the entire TV at an ewasting site in Los Angeles in San Pedro. Anyway.... Stay AWAY from Samsung... That is not why I wrote this review. I wrote this review to let you know that SONY is TOP NOTCH! Even SONY's low end OLED TV that is $1199.99 at time of writing in Nov 2023, is their cheaper OLED. IT IS AMAZING! I have two large windows that are bright and this thing still at 80% brightness is functional enough, I don't need to use max brightness in daytime at all. Some say spend more money on the A95L since it has QLED OLED that is like about 40% brighter...... I was at best buy and this A75L and A80L are standard OLED and they LOOK JUST AMAZING EITHER WAY! Save money, and get yourself these TV's they are amazing. The A95L and A90L are for the deeper pocketed folks I suppose that really are concerned with their gallery palace they live that might have a lot of windows. My room I have this TV has windows that shed light directly on the left of the TV and on the front of the TV and this standard OLED tech is STILL AMAZING! NO ISSUES HERE. THANK YOU SONY for not letting me down. I like your products and now that I am a working person, I can afford them and enjoy them. Thank you Sony!

The picture looks great for gaming, sports, and more! It was easy to set up. Some complain about the remote, but I’ve found it easy to use. Just have a plan for how you get it. The sales person person put the fear of a higher power in me for transporting an OLED tv.

Amazing TV for the price I paid for being a total tech member. The apps on the TV comes in handy making it easier so I don't have to use my apple TV. Only thing with the apple TV app on the TV is that it allows to watch movies that were purchased but unable to purchase it. Also had some confusing where the 120hz was not passing thru the ps5 but that is human error since I had to go into the TV setting and turn it on since it does not come out of factory with it on. Wish there were more hdmi port that runs 120hz, since one of it is EARC for the receiver and the other one I am currently using it for the ps5 since my receiver does not pass thru 120. Other then that the TV picture quality is very nice whether I watch it at night or during the day

Price is simply unbeatable, picture continues to impress. Even my parents who have never see the differences in any of my electronic purchases, made a comment how good the picture looked. If you're cross shopping this and A80L be aware the only differences between the two, is the A80L has slightly better audio and an adjustable stand. Otherwise they're both the same.

I am super-thrilled by how awesome this Sony XR55A75L OLED TV is. It comes with stunning picture quality (and bright), and then, to my surprise, the sound is pretty good for day-to-day TV watching as well. Also, the remote control and the Google TV operating system are pretty decent. I purchased this one to replace an 8-year-old Sony LED TV, and quite quickly I asked myself why it took so long for me to upgrade to this OLED TV. The only thing I don't get used to - and this is just me - are the feet the TV stands on. I am not hanging the TV on the wall, so the TV stand is important to me. Away with the feet and let's get this beautiful Kanto tabletop TV stand (also from Best Buy) as shown in the attached picture. If you hang the TV on the wall or, as I did, on a tabletop TV stand, use the supplied spacers instead of the ones that come with the other mounts. Last but not least, kudos to the Best Buy delivery team. I purchased this TV online, and scheduling free delivery was part of the checkout process. The team of two technicians was kind and professional. Final verdict: Very highly recommended.

I have already submitted a review for this product as soon as I set the unit up. After watching a few shows and movies I figured it was time for another update. Wow, this television has met all my expectations and beyond. It easily connects to an external speaker or any of your favorite streaming device if you want to use a different platform than what it comes with. I recommend the latest 4K AppleTV. Set up was a breeze. The quality is unmatched. The details are vivid and sharp, very clear and focused. It is as if you were using your Apple Retina display for all your viewing pleasure, at a much bigger screen. Sony has been at the forefront along with LG with their OLED technology and it certainly shows how far ahead they are of the competition. The unit is perhaps a little bulkier than the latest Samsung and LG, but it makes up for it in the quality of the picture. That would be my only negative insight, but once you have it wall mounted or set up on your stand you will not think about it any longer.

I love my new Sony TV. It has an excellent image and has all the features I like from watching videos on youtube, my own home videos by casting them from my cellphone, watching movies on different apps, and even signing karaoke by reading all those lyrics on a big screen. We are all pleased with this purchase. Thanks Best Buy!

The OLED panel is solid, easily as good as the mini LED I just replaced. Blacks are deep, colors pop, and it handles HDR well. No complaints there. Storage is another plus, there's more than enough room for all the apps I actually use and even the ones I barely touch, so I’m not constantly uninstalling stuff just to make space. Now for the annoyances. Sony's Calibrated mode is half-baked. It’s supposed to deliver a "true to source" image, but it doesn't disable motion smoothing, and worse, you can't turn it off manually in that mode. That's a fail if you actually care about watching things the way they were intended. Soundwise, it's passable. A little tinny, especially on dialogue, but thats what you get in a budget OLED. You'll want a soundbar or external speakers if audio matters to you. Overall, its a good value if you care more about picture than sound or purist features. Just know what your compromising on. Need this shortened for a retailer review box or want to add anything about gaming or smart features?

I am absolutely very happy with my new purchase. The picture & sound is extremely better than I expected. I’m not very tech savvy, but this television is very easy to use. The only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it does have a noise that’s a little loud when you turn it off. That I wouldn’t think a newer television would have, since my older television didn’t have a sound when I turned it off.

Picture is nice and bright. Replaced a Sony LED Bravia thst I had for over 10 years. Picture quality with OLED is definitely brighter,better and more defined. Very easy to set up and get going right out of the box.

Amazing tv ps5 pro is nasty on this tv Definitely a good price point

The TV has gorgeous visuals, deep blacks, incredible clarity. It was a bit overwhelming at first so I did need to play with the settings. I don't get direct sun onto the TV so I can't speak to that. Only thing knocking off a star is the WiFi connectivity. It seems to have issues connecting to my wifi on a regular basis; sometimes it will drop and not be able to reconnect. Setting it to Static IP Address makes it happen less often but it's not a permanent fix and does make using the smart TV incredibly annoying if you've got a tough setup for wifi (only one ethernet port works and it's not where the TV is, so my router is trapped fairly far away). Just know it's a thing, and it's a thing my older TV handled WAY better than this one. But I'm still happy, huge improvement to my TV experience.

This TV provides the most accurate color you can get on any display currently at the moment with the best image processing with the XR processor sony offers this tv also has its own gaming menu as well as a ton of upscaling features throughout the menu the sound that comes from this tv stands pretty well on its own with very rich full audio i love this tv and i definitely recommend this to anyone who watches alot of movies or games

Looks amazing, the blacks are very a black and game play is great. It’s my first OLED TV and it didn’t disappoint.

This tv is replacing a 6 year old LG that didn't survive the fall. So far very excited for the new auto input feature and the smart eco location sound balancing. This tv has been very nice for deep black levels and sound quality.

Love our new 55” Sony OLED TV. We replaced a 20 year old 46” LED. Very happy with the price and quality.

Everything I could have wanted and more. Crystal clear picture quality. Works great even in a brighter room, which is rare for an OLED. Can’t recommend this tv highly enough!

This is the best purchase I’ve made. I brought this TV to replace my old Sony. I can’t stop looking at it. All the programs I watch have incredible quality, and the quality content of 4K seems like I’m right there with them. I would advise everyone to get this TV!

The OLED picture quality is outstanding. I did a lot of tv research before purchasing this tv and love how it syncs well with all my other Sony devices. Alexa’s voice command works perfectly.
