Switching from Astro A50s 4th gen, the steel series be far outperform the Astros in sound quality, connectivity, durability, battery life and comfort.
The software to customize your EQ profiles is way more user friendly to use on the Steel Series compared to the Astros command center.
The ability to game for over 8hours on a weekend is amazing, and the ease of mind on having a second battery already charged up in the base station is amazing.
The multi connectivity is awesome, the ability to have music playing on my iPhone and go to the kitchen for a snack, while still being able to hear when a match is starting or in pregame lobby is a plus for me.
Definitely defiantly worth the price! You get what you pay for.
With the steel series you won’t have to worry about that cushion popping off from over time compared to the Astros

I’ve tried quite a few headsets and just never really found one that is comfortable, wireless, and compatible with PC and PS5. Gaming buddies were raving about Steel Series so I figured, why not try it?
I’m glad I did. This thing is overly comfortable for wearing hours, and hours, and hours at a time. Battery lasts as advertised and you can quickly swap batteries when you need to. The dock has a charging slot for the spare battery so it charges while you play and ready when you need it. A few days after using, there was an option appear on my pc to download software that provides more customization options for mic and sound, some that are already pre-customized based on the game you are playing.
Headset has a blutooth option which runs simultaneously with the PC/PS5 connection. So if you need to answer a call while playing, you can hear both the phone and game at the same time (no buttons to answer calls on the headset directly).
Sound quality is great and have been told that my mic sounds amazing now that I’ve upgraded.

Love this headset. This is my favorite headset that I have ever had. The software for it is great and you can manage many different channels with it. At first the headset wasn't so comfortable but you can bend it a bit to your liking and after a while it starts to loosen up a bit. The microphone on it however is not very good so I would recommend using a separate microphone than the one that comes with the headset. But it is perfectly serviceable if there are no other alternatives. I have my pc audio AND my ps5 audio hooked up to the hub and can easily switch between them even easier than changing the hdmi input on my monitor.

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset offers impressive sound quality with its Hi-Res Audio certification, delivering clear and immersive audio for gaming and multimedia. The wireless connectivity provides freedom of movement, and the long battery life ensures extended gaming sessions without interruptions. The ergonomic design and comfortable ear cushions make it suitable for prolonged use. However, some users may find the price point a bit steep compared to other options on the market.

A solid upgrade to the original Arctis Pro Wireles

I had to recently replace my original Arctis Pro Wireless headset and was at a loss. I tried a few alternatives from EPOS, Corsair Virtuosos, and Logitechs G Pro X. While these are all very different price points compared to the Nova Pro, the fact remained that it was difficult to find a solid wireless headset replacement for the Arctis Pros. They each lacked something when I tried to compare them to Arctis; the biggest that stood out to me was the signal distance and ChatMix. Fortunately, I just discovered that they were refreshed with the new and improved Nova Pros with USB-C charging, noise cancellation, and sliding/adjustable earpads (compared to the original one size fits all SteelSeries band).
The new Nova Pro really does improve on everything of the original Wireless Pro. That said, one large issue I have with the device is the new ChatMix. In order to access the new ChatMix you need to create a SteelSteries account, sign in to their GG software, and use their new Sonar software. Otherwise you will have NO access to ChatMix whatsoever and their DAC just becomes a glorified volume knob. Also the new ChatMix will create four audio devices in Windows altogether, which does clutter up your audio playback device menu. I do love all the new options available in the Sonar menu. I just think a lot of people will be turned off or have trouble setting up the new ChatMix as it's definitely not the most intuitive.
After getting through setup, the device is fantastic. It is far more comfortable compared to the original with the new leather earpads and the adjustable headband. The batteries are way smaller physically compared to the originals yet have double the rated length of playback time before requiring hot swapping with the secondary battery. Ultimately, if you're looking for a one wireless headset fits all situation, and willing to spend the extra shiny penny, these are the pair to go for hands down.

I bought this headset after a lot of research, it had good reviews and people seemed to rave about it. Unfortunately the first set I got sounded terrible, tinny distorted sound, on the advice from the store associate I got a replacement set and I am glad I did. I like the way they sound, if you are using them for strictly music I do not recommend them as they are not the best for this and at this price point you can get some great headphones that are designed with music in mind. As a gaming headset though, they excel, team mate voices are clear, the mic is great and the stand alone control box with preset EQ curves is awesome.
The best thing about these to me is the swappable battery, its great to be able to have one charged at all times, as I am notorious for forgetting to plug in my stuff.
My only gripe about these is the fact that after some extened use I get a little bit of ear pain on the top of my ears as the ear cushons are a bit too thin. I solved this by ordering a set of wicked cushons for them, granted for the price it would be nice if they could include a larger/thicker set of ear cushons in the box.
Overall very happy with them and will continue to use them.

So far so good !
sound quality is good
Noise cancelling cancels my fan so that’s definitely good. Only complaint is every now and then i just get loud static and I have to turn off my headset and turn it back on, minor inconvenience but still for that price tag I expect near perfection. Is this a good headset? YES! Does that justify the 400$ price tag ? I myself feel like it’s No and I’m VERY pleased with the console . Hot swapping batteries makes charging my headphones a thing of the past ! Not to mention the Bluetooth duo functionality which lets you be connected to your phone and console at the same time . If you’re looking for a headset with good sound and all the bells and whistles than this headset is for you . If you’re just looking for a good headset and don’t care for noise cancelling and dip blootooth there’s more better economical headsets that give you that bang for your buck!

I love these headphones. It’s a good investment for gaming enthusiast. SteelSeries is definitely one of the best headphones I have used, I even owned the previous version which I gave to my daughter for her PS5 console. It’s convenient for long battery hours of game play and easy to swap the battery for hours of game play. The sound is phenomenal. Yes it’s pricey, but worth every dollar. I play games like BO6 and Marvel Rivals, I must say it’s nice hearing foot steps coming near you, so it gives you the upper hand to attack or evade. Works awesome with both console and PC.

The wireless adapter and multi connection work amazingly. The microphone is subpar for a $300 + dollar headset. Very staticky and doesn’t sound great on the receiving end. The sound quality is amazing. The headset is comfortable. Compared to the Logitech Pro X Wireless headset I’d say the mic is worse, but the comfort is better. They also feel more firm and reliable. The swappable batteries are also a plus, one charges while you use the other, never have to plug it in if you don’t want and only takes a few seconds to swap the batteries.

Unbeatable Hi-Res + Excellent Sonar software. No other gaming headset can deliver this. For that, it is worth every penny. My onli advice is to get after market cooling ear cups from Wicked Cushions. The stock cups would overhear my head instantly.

The arctis nova pro wireless is perfect for what I wanted, I did a ton of searching and research with on different head sets and ultimately ended up purchasing these, how seamless they work between my pc, ps5 and Bluetooth on my phone is game changing, the dual batteries make running out of charge a thing of the past, the I was already familiar with the sonar software on pc for these so changing your eq is a breeze.

Extremely comfortable for long use, great sound. The swappable batteries mean never having to hook up a charging wire or wait for it to charge up. The controls on the base are easy enough to adjust once you're used to selecting each one. The noise cancellation is absolutely amazing.
I'd had the Arctis 3 wired headset and loved everything about them but the cord getting in my way, but this is such an upgrade. Glad I got them!

The best gaming headphones I've ever used. As high quality as my Sony xm3 and xm4s. The sound is excellent and even works for music and phone calls thanks to the standalone Bluetooth. Connection to all of your devices is easy and convenient. Tons of sound customization, as well as different earcups, headbands, and side covers are available to purchase. It has two hot swappable rechargeable batteries than are stored and charged in the base station. If you have the money and want the best, get these

Great gaming headset. They’re literal perfection for pc gaming. Having a spare battery is such a step up that it’ll make charging your headset with a cord feel like a thing of the past. The app also allows for all kinds of extra settings that really increase your experience based off your own preferences. Couldn’t recommend this headset more!

best headset on the market right now, go grab a pair now, the price point is high but it is worth the price point, not many products can claim that, but if you are willing to spend any high amount of money on a gaming headset, this is the one.
pros
. battery life and yes they have an extra battery included. most would not do that.
. software, their software is amazing from their AI noise canceling and AI clear cast mic is just top of the line.
. Sonar sound-enhancing software is top-of-the-line and can compete with Atmos.

I had high hopes for these as I spent hours and hours of research on them, but unfortunately I was let down. For starters, the sound quality is about same as cheapy headsets. While all the preset equalizers to chose from is neat, I feel they spent too much time and money into that instead of the sound quality. The ANC is slim to none, which was the biggest disappointment. After giving them a chance for a week, I went and returned as spending $300+ dollars on this headset was ridiculously high when I can spend $50 to get same effect. I love steel series keyboard, mouses, etc. but these headphones are over hyped and over priced :(

This headset is incredible. I had been using the Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless, which I loved, but its base station didn't output game audio through the line out port (while the headphones were in use), so I couldn't use the headset with my PS5 while streaming through my Elgato HD60S+. (The PS5 only outputs audio over either the USB headset or over HDMI, not both.)
Anyways, the Arctis Nova Pro headset was just recently announced and solves this specific problem. You can even customize the mix of your game audio and microphone/aux levels on the OLED (the Nova base station also has an aux audio input for mixing in an external audio signal).
The headphones are also incredible and super comfortable (actually more comfortable than the Arctis Pros); the build quality is great, and I've had no problem fitting them to my head. I've never used active noise cancelling till now, but it also works great with these headphones. It also has a transparent mode that works well.
The Arctis Nova unit also resolves a pretty annoying problem I had with my Arctis Pro headset when using bluetooth with it paired to my Pixel 6 Pro. Not sure if this problem was unique to the Pixel and the Arctis Pro, but the phone would constantly pop up the bluetooth volume adjustment bar any time I used my Arctis Pro Wireless headphones over bluetooth, as if it was having to reestablish connection every time I clicked on something.
Anyways, that problem is completely resolved now, so this unit is a perfect streaming and bluetooth solution for me.
The base station also allows for two simultaneous connections, so I can connect it to both my PS5 and my Macbook pro for updates, which I haven't tested yet.
