I bought this boom box to listen to all my cds that have been sitting on a shelf for some time. I love this boom box and the sound is amazing. I can charge it and listen to my music anywhere in the house.

I recently discovered that I no longer own a CD player! As a child of the 80s, I was hoping to find a player that felt authentic to the CD era, but with a modern twist. This is one of the few retro-styled boombox radios on the market. It is equipped with a CD player, as well as an AM/FM radio, an aux mini port, and Bluetooth. The sound is surprisingly robust for a compact machine. The "light show" on the front is an awesome touch. I can't comment on the internal battery life b/c I keep it plugged in at home. Assume it's good enough for an afternoon out or a road trip. The unit is super portable but has some heft to it and doesn't feel cheap. The styling is authentic, but modern enough that my kids were loving it. My son wanted me to put it on my shoulder and walk through the neighborhood "like the olden days" LOL. For $150 it's easy to recommend. And a great gift for the old schooler in your life!
Upset that AM/FM radio advertised has no AM radio.

Advertised as AM/FM radio with CD player. FM radio is good and Cd player is good, but very upset that no AM radio was included even though AM radio was advertised.

These retro boombox was a hit for ny daughter. I had to explain the way these work and what we used in the 80s. They were amazed by the design and features of tuning and playing cds. Bluetooth is a git as well as theyre used to that feature. They love it.

I couldn't be happier with this Boom Box! It really is an incredible simulation when first introduced. And I couldn't be happier with the overall sound; it's great! They're controls for each function. Radio knob (tunes to a station with ease). The CD player located in front.

Not a bad boombox but with unexceptional sound.

The Studebaker boombox has decent sound but nothing out of the ordinary. It is not particularly well designed which results in it being awkward to insert a cd. This is because one has to insert the cd vertically while trying to make sure one does not get fingerprints on the cd or scratch the cd. It would be better if the boombox had a tray that flipped out into a horizontal position so it would be much easier to load a cd. In addition, the radio did not work on my new Studebaker boombox. I returned it to Best Buy and received a credit on my debit card.

Clear sound and volume enough for a big crowd! I use it daily plugged into the wall, and has the ability to use without electricity is an extra bonus! Does it all....

Took outside for an afternoon and by the time we got back in the label for the radio stations had bubbled up and you couldn't move the tuning dial past the bubbles. checked online and sure enough, this is a common problem. Certainly not worth the $150 I paid for it.
