WE opted for the Prime Pinnacles over the Ultra only because we already have a pair of SVS SB2000 Pro's. These did not disappoint, They are absolutely amazing in 2 channel stereo mode and blew me away. Didn't really even need the subs these hit soo hard.

Excellent sounding speakers - no compromise

These are fantastic speakers. I listened to multiple high-end speakers before buying the Prime Pinnacles, and the sound easily rivals and even surpasses speakers costing hundreds, or even a couple thousand dollars more - no exaggeration. I'm using them solely for stereo music, connected to a good CD player, turntable and integrated amplifier. The imaging is outstanding, with a wide and deep soundstage. It sounds like you're in the room with the performers. I like an even response across the board, preferring a more laid back sound than something really bright. These speakers are great for achieving that. The highs are clear, but not fatiguing. The mids come through very well. You can hear sounds in the music that you wouldn't with other speakers. Old music is new again. With three cabinet-separated woofers, the bass is substantial and tight, but not overpowering. No need for a subwoofer, as these get to very low frequencies very well. I have the speakers placed fairly far apart in the room and less than a foot from the wall, and the bass is not boomy. Lastly, I really like that these speakers are compactly constructed, so I get outstanding sound without having two huge monoliths that take over the room. My wife was very pleased with the size and the piano black cabinets.

Pricey but they sound absolutely beautiful, and the piano black finish is flawless. The form factor is great with no outrigger platform feet at the bottom like many other towers have. Im using these in a 7.1.2 theater config and the movie watching is epic. I have a very large living space with 20' ceilings and these speakers fill the room without distortion. I also bought the Prime Center and the dialog is clear with a wide dispersion. This is a front stage combo that cant be beat unless you spend a ton more. Very pleased.

These are the best speakers I have ever had. I know that very expensive speakers may sound better but I don't think I could hear the difference with my old ears. For the money I don't believe you can find any better. Full sounding with bass that is good enough not to need a sub for most music.

I am exceedingly happy with there performance in surround mode with movies. I listen to music with just the two front speakers and and the sound is fabulous, like you are at a concert. Each instrument can be heard with clarity. I was looking at front speakers that were $500 to a $1,000 more than the SVS speakers and I woud not trade them for the more expensive units.

These replaced 20+ year old speakers. They sound fantastic compared to the old speakers. They are not cheap or that expensive and not sure how great they are compared to other speakers but no way these are going back.

I love these prime pinnacle towers! Paired with ultra center and satellites for surround the sound is great! These speakers have a full sound and are able to fit in the space I needed. They are heavy, but that's because they are made well! SVS has a great product.

Excellent sound quality with crispy clean Trimble. These speakers can hold some power. The speaker can with hold power continuously not even sounding ruffled or distorted. I would recommend these for everyday use, you will not need any other speakers.

These sounded great. A good buy. Ultimately, I went with the B&W 600 S3. They were on sale, so it was about $400 more. The B&W sounded clearer over all. But, not being on sale the difference is over $800. That is tough to justify as these speakers did sound good.

Ordered from the store, and shipped to my house and they arrived a day early. I have them hooked up to a Marantz SR6015, and my cable tv shows sound good. When we stream through Apple TV, is when they really shine. They can handle all I throw at them, and they image pretty well. 2 channel stereo sounds great too. Am thinking of adding an external amp just to see how big of a difference there is.

Replaced my Definitive Technology soundbar and wireless subwoofer with a pair of these powered with a new Denon AVS650 receiver. I have about 25 hours of break in so far and these speakers are superb for the price. I find no need to add a subwoofer to my system. I never really cared for 5.1 or 7.1 home theatre sound. It distracts me. With just these 2 speakers I get excellent stereo sound for both movies and music. The room is filled with sound and you think their is actually a center speaker the way they send out sound. When watching TV or a movie the clarity of the voices is fantastic and music where they really shine. Classic rock, jazz, bluegrass and country all sound great. I was originally going to get the Klipsch Reference Premier speakers but they were out of stock so I took a chance on these. Great decision. Money well spent!

Full, beautiful sound for both music and movies. These are my main speakers for music and home theater movies. I love the detail and soundstage that these present. You would be hard-pressed to find a finer tower for the money.

I already had 2 SVS SB200 subs that I used with my Boston Acoustics floor standing speakers and center for a 5.2 setup. Decided to upgrade to SVS Ultra Towers & Ultra Center along with Prime Pinnacle Towers for 5.2 config. I was happy before, but I can say that this is a definite upgrade. I'm still breaking in the speakers but I can day unequivocally that whether listening to music or an action movie these bad boys perform.

Just did a short listen to a couple of movies and some music. Spectacular sound for the money. I haven’t run Room EQ Wizard yet but I suspect the 29 Hz-25 kHz is pretty accurate.

For years I’ve been looking for speakers so I can listen to my music in my living room. I did a lot of research and came across the SVS Prime 6-1/2 Passive 3-way floor speakers. I hooked them up and they sound great, they are not bulky and fit in my space perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase.
