This event was in a windy, open parking lot in front of a faculty and it carried our music and speakers voices amazingly well. The sound quality is also very balanced. There was about 65 people in attendance and everyone was able to hear just fine. Would buy again.

One of my favorite "portable" speakers!

I always have 2 of these in case of a small party or event. Using 1 at a time is solid as well. Put it in front of a wall for more bass. The only thing thay compares is the JBL Boombox 3.

UE FAN NOW

The sound is so much clearer and clearer than the Jbl boombox 3. Now the Jbl boombox has a bit deeper sound in bass but the mids and high are unbearable to me. If you want a speaker the has more of a hifi sound UE is the way to go! Only downside to the UE I see is battery life is a bit sort but other then that I really happy!

Its sleek design and surprisingly loud sound makes it enjoyable. My roommates are probably not as thrilled as I am, I am constantly using it! Great for parties and the megaphone is a plus. Love the app too it’s simple to use. The charge is beyond fast and long lasting which I find it rare on many devices. (USB-C)

Hyperboom speaker sound is no joke.

Gets very loud and clear with balance mids and high. i take this to my job site and plays all day still has plenty battery life play at 70% volume. I use the app to adjust different eq sound settings and you can customize your eq setting to your preference. I think that for the size of this speaker it had a better sound then the JBL boombox. I ended up purchasing a 2nd one to use the partyup mode and all i can say is WOW. The sound is much more richer and can be in sync or in stereo which i prefer and it just blows my mind with what im hearing. All my family and friend couldnt beleve that this speaker sound like DJ or full home stereo.

It's good but not great

In an enclosed space the speaker regulates itself to the surroundings and tames the overall sound quality. It has preset EQ settings on the App or you can manually create your own EQ setup through the App to fit your needs, although I felt the settings were restrictive and didnt provide the bass I was looking for. The speaker has a built in strap for carrying, however, it's positioned in the upper corner creating a heavier and unbalanced feel. The charger is a USB-C that has to be plugged into a charging brick which then has to be plugged into the wall. I would suggest fully charging the speaker before taking it out so you don't have to carry around the charging adapters. I eventually returned the speaker and purchased a Marshall Tufton and I am more satisfied with the Marshall. Everyone will have different tastes in sound quality but I felt the Marshall produced a fuller sound and bass without compromising the clarity of the music. Though it didn't fit my needs, it is still a viable option for those on the market.

Battery drains faster when using app with multiple speakers but I expected that. I think the only downside is it is extra for a carrying case that isn’t available in store.
