Pricing

Best Buy aims to be competitively priced on all our products and services. Pricing can be complicated, especially as a multi-channel retailer with marketplace partners in a complex, dynamic market. To provide additional clarity and to denote value, Best Buy and its marketplace sellers may identify reference prices from a number of sources.

Promotions

Our “Comparable Value” (Comp. Value) prices are based on prices at which the product, or a comparable item, was (or in the future will be) offered for sale by Best Buy, marketplace sellers, manufacturers, suppliers, or other retailers or e-commerce companies. Such prices may have been identified by Best Buy or provided by marketplace sellers, manufacturers, or suppliers. Purchases from Best Buy offer many advantages over purchases from others and we invite you to learn more about our pricing, the services we provide, and our Price Match Policy.

Bundle Price. A Bundle Price is the sum of the current individual prices offered by Best Buy or Marketplace Sellers for the items comprising the bundle if the items were purchased individually.

Introductory Price. New items may have an introductory price prior to their release date or within the first few weeks of their release. The referenced price represents the price at which we or a marketplace seller intends to sell the item after the introductory price period ends.

Sometimes when we lower prices, other retailers will decrease their prices in response. As a result, we may decrease our reference or selling price during the promotion, and after the promotion our then current selling price may be the same as, or even lower than, the reference price so that Best Buy may offer you consistently low prices.

Intermediate markdowns may have been made between the specified reference price and the selling price.

When a promotion ends at a specific time, the applicable time zone is Central time.

Due to the competitive nature of retailing, pricing is dynamic and subject to change. Our prices, including those of marketplace sellers, may go up or down during the day in our stores and online. Pricing may vary among retail stores and BestBuy.com. Pricing may also vary regionally. Different prices may also be offered on the same product depending upon a variety of factors, including oversupply, overstocks, clearance items, open-box items, and items sold through different sales channels.

Price Drop on Store Pickup Item

If you purchase a new item at BestBuy.com (which includes a purchase from a smartphone application/website, BestBuy.com orders with Store Pickup, and orders from the kiosk inside a Best Buy store) and if the item is offered at a lower price in the store or at BestBuy.com when you pick it up, you may request a price match. Some exclusions apply.

Price Drop on a Pre-Order

If the price of a pre-order item drops at the time of shipment, you will automatically be charged the lower price. Your credit card is not charged until the product is shipped.
