If you're looking for a TV that delivers both in image quality and performance, the TCL 75" Class QM8 is a top-tier option that deserves serious consideration. I purchased mine as an Open Box deal from Best Buy, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. If you’re handy, don’t shy away from Open Box options—you can snag a high-performance TV for a fraction of the cost. Brilliant Display and Brightness One of the most impressive features of the QM8 is its stunning picture quality. With a combination of 4K Ultra HD resolution, QLED Quantum Dot technology, and HDR ULTRA (Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+), you get to experience vibrant colors, deep blacks, and amazing contrast. The Mini-LED technology with 2300+ local dimming zones ensures that dark scenes stay deep and detailed, while bright highlights truly pop—especially with the screen’s ability to hit 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Whether you're watching in a brightly lit room or a dark one, the image quality remains consistently brilliant. Perfect for Gamers As a gamer, the QM8’s Game Accelerator 240 and Auto Game Mode have been a game-changer. The combination of 240Hz VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro ensures buttery-smooth gameplay without screen tearing or lag. Paired with the 120Hz refresh rate and Motion Rate 480, fast-paced scenes in games or sports are fluid and clear. If you’re into competitive gaming, this TV gives you the edge you need. Responsive and Intuitive The QM8 responds quickly to commands, whether you're navigating apps, changing settings, or adjusting volume. The Google TV OS is snappy, intuitive, and packed with smart features. Built-in Google Assistant and voice control allow for seamless navigation, while the backlit remote is a thoughtful touch, especially for late-night viewing. Solid Construction The sleek, bezel-less design gives the QM8 a premium look, and the solid construction assures durability. Even though I bought mine used, the build quality is undeniable—it’s sturdy and feels built to last. Plus, the adjustable pedestal stand offers flexibility for different setups, which is a nice bonus if you're particular about your media furniture. Connectivity and Audio In terms of connectivity, the QM8 is future-proofed with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth audio, and four HDMI inputs (including eARC). Whether you're using streaming apps, connecting a soundbar, or pairing Bluetooth headphones for private listening, the experience is seamless. The built-in subwoofer provides richer, deeper audio than standard TV speakers, adding to the immersive experience. Final Thoughts The TCL 75" Class QM8 delivers an unrivaled viewing and gaming experience. Whether you’re a movie buff, a sports fan, or a gamer, this TV excels across the board. Even better, if you’re open to an Open Box deal like I was, you can get this flagship experience at a bargain. Highly recommended!

The tv looks just as good as an OLED or better, I know the TV will last longer left on all day with no screen burn-in, super bright (over 2200 nits, premium picture quality, blown away by the clarity, cool sound from the sub built-in, and over all great decision I made to invest into this TV…I’m very picky with brand names myself, so it was scary to try a new brand, but I’m glad I did my research first on mini-led vs OLED!!!

It’s a great tv. Got it as an upgrade to a base model lg I got last year. The picture quality is great. Getting very close to my lg oled. I use this for gaming on a pc mostly but works great for movies also.
