QuestionI want to convert an ethernet signal to a coaxial one because I have an old TV that only has Coax input. Will this device take an ethernet signal from the wall and convert it to a Coaxial signal to connect to the TV?

QuestionI use ethernet wires in 1 room for cable to router and router to computers. I have a Bolt in another room using wireless. I want to convert Bolt using wireless to Moca AND install a Tivo Mini in 3rd room using Moca. Do I need 2 or 3 of these adapters?

QuestionComcast coaxial tv cable comes through wall from outside. A splitter with 1 cable goes to tv works fine. Want other cable to connect to desktop as hardwired ethernet for internet. Is this doable? Thank you

- Answer I cannot speak for Comcast; however, I have Verizon FIOS and am operating exactly as you intend to. Split the signal with one coax to an HDTV; the other goes into my Actiontec MOCA box - where there is an Ethernet port that I hookup to my computer.

QuestionDo I need two of these devices?I have cable internet set up (cable modem and a wifi router) in a second floor bedroom. My livingroom tv, with Roku 3 is on the first floor at the opposite end of the house. Should I be able to install one of these devices to a coax jack near the tv and then connect to my Roku from the MOCA adapter via Ethernet cable? Or would I need a second MOCA adapter upstairs near the cable modem and router? Just looking to get a wired internet hook up to the Roku, not to extend wifi. Thank you.

- Answer You need a second, downstream box, to convert back to Ethernet.

- Answer The coaxial cable should plug into a cable modem. On the back of the modem is an ethernet port so that you can connect your router too.

QuestionCan someone tell me what is included in the box?The website only lists Actiontec Ethernet-to-Coaxial MoCA Network Adapters (2-Pack) and the Owner's manual as being included in the box. Another online retailer lists the same item as having Two MoCA Network Adapters, two Ethernet cables, two coaxial cables, two power adapters, one coax splitter and one Quick Start Guide included. I'd rather buy from Best Buy, but only if someone can confirm that all these accessories are included when purchasing this through Best Buy. Thanks!

QuestionCan I just buy two of these and coax them together?I just want to extend an internet connection over a coax cable (no TV or anything complicated like that, just internet). 1) One end will have the adapter connected by CAT5 to a router (with working internet of course). 2) The adapters will be connected together by coax. 3) The other end will have the other adapter connected to a computer (via CAT5). Will this just work? Or do I have to buy other expensive equipment? Or do I have to go through a complicated configuration setup screen?
