I use this with both an Xbox Series X and PS5. If you don't care about playing at 4K 120 FPS, go for it. I'm not sure if an OLED TV would be cheaper. You might be able to run it at 1440P and hit 120 FPS. I use console mode, so it puts me in 4K 60FPS, but I get HDR10 support. I honestly don't care about max FPS; I want those jucicy colors.

Unless you know exactly when and what model will drop, I would not wait. I looked around for months and no new OLED monitors came out so I bought this one. Very happy with it

I really like this monitor, have only had it about a month, I  use it on my computer, but it does look great on some of the games I use with it
