• A:Answer Curved monitors are "stupid? You have to put your monitor so your eyes are at the parabola's focal point. The idea is that all of the surface is the same distance from your glasses or eyes. BTW, a monitor can't be stupid. But people can be.

• A:Answer Yes, just go to the gsync tab in Nvidia settings and enable g-sync and select the display under display specific settings and enable settings for this display. It will show this display is not validated but make sure the box is ticked. I also have console mode turned on in the monitor settings.

Q: QuestionI will be running my gaming laptop on this until I get a better desktop. Do I have to buy external speakers or will my laptop be enough? Laptop will be closed while playing games, so not really sure if I will get sound out of it.

Q: QuestionDoes this monitor have some sort of maintenance to reduce the chance of burn in? Some other monitors have built in features that slightly move pixels or have a maintenance mode.

• A:Answer Yes, the QLED requires the monitor go through about a 7-8 minute maintenance about every 4-5 hours of constant use which keeps the picture looking amazing however can be a pain when not planning for it. The controls on the monitor also take a bit of time to learn so have another monitor connected or you might kill your game when it happens.

• A:Answer I use this with both an Xbox Series X and PS5. If you don't care about playing at 4K 120 FPS, go for it. I'm not sure if an OLED TV would be cheaper. You might be able to run it at 1440P and hit 120 FPS. I use console mode, so it puts me in 4K 60FPS, but I get HDR10 support. I honestly don't care about max FPS; I want those jucicy colors.

• A:Answer This was probably answered already, but yes, PS5 and Xbox will have black bars along the sides. It does take up the whole top to bottom but leaves about 2-3 inches on the left and right side.

• A:Answer I spoke with a sales rep at Dell this morning, and you only get the burn in coverage if bought from Dell directly. The warranty you get when purchased from Best Buy is still 3 years, but only covers if the monitor itself stops working entirely. It does NOT cover burn in or dead pixels. Apparently you can purchase that extra coverage from dell, or get the geek squad 4 year coverage add on from Best Buy
